I love that Ross Isn’t a guy chained to the gym but has a fantastic physique and uses all kinds of equipment and ideas to facilitate his workout needs. This vid was a fun watch
Aww MASSIVE HUGE thanks for asking broskis 🙏 I’ve a few academic/charity commitments right now but when I can clear my diary would love to get back to some podcasts
'Brachiating' - what a great idea. It makes so much sense. I wish they'd taught us things like that at medical school instead of just static anatomy. Your videos are fascinating!
I've been suffering with injuries and stomach issues for a few years now. but watching you is inspiring. I will get healthy again. my body needs movement.
I have also sruggled with injuries and stomach issues. Its a tough slog. Try fasting for a minimum of 3 full days, a week is the best. It works as a reset. Then try rowing. Swim and use bands.
Thank you so much! I've been binge watching your videos since a week or so (usually after my huge lunch) and have been following you since 1 or 2 years. Its giving me so much more motivation and excitement about doing sports. I love it already but this kicks it to another level! More like lifestyle level. Thanks for all the great work to all the people involved. The enthusiasm, positivity, lightheartedness and many laughs are very contagious 😄 which is amazing. Keep it up! Namaskar
Yessssssss plz make more videos like this plz they are so fun to watch love you man your give me so much motivation in myself and thanks for helping be HAPPY 😊🤣🌟🙏 GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND (NEVER EVER GIVE UP )
thank you for the insights Ross! btw: try stretchcordz (or so) with handpaddles for swimmers, I use them for like more than a decade and they are crazy specific!
I am i big fan of yours mate! You are setting the bar high, but at the same time teaching how to improve on every lvl. Thank you for all of it! Keep it up, another great video! you are getting even better and better at that too :D Show cool to see you garage and how you train! Brilliant
Hello Ross, please keep the videos like this like you promised once a week . That would be lovely you are an inspiration for me i found this videos day to day life very helpful for me and many other people like me. Thank you for the content !
I used to do some weird exercises in the gym to benefit my swim stroke when I swam competitively, I always got told that I was doing things wrong when I was just trying to work specific areas and replicate butterfly or freestyle 😂😂🤦🏽♀️. I used to do tricep pushdowns holding the ends of the rope between my fingers to get that same feeling of pushing at the end of a stroke 😌.
Do a ground anchor like you'd buy for a motor cycle lock in a garage. Dig a hole cast some concrete set the anchor and drill for the bolts. Inc ground plugs for the bolts. Should be laughing for the amount of torque comes from you.
In your swim session have you tried using a snorkel? Because of the extra bubbles from the jets you are moving your head around further to take a breath, which in the end changes your stroke - your breathing arm is slower to recover because of the head roll. If you use a snorkel you can concentrate completely on stroke techniques and as you get better and stronger the breathing will fall into place. I use my snorkel all the time
Love your videos so glad they’ll be more consistent. Currently readying blueprint and am fully enjoying it 🙌🏼 Just finished a sport and exercise science course at loughborough college and i love seeing your insights on the topics.
Ross, thank you for the motivational videos. I returned training, specifically swimming after watching you. We'd love to hear if can talk little more about your swimming technique. Cheers!
Happy to see you back and finishing your bible 😍 Off topic if you can answer which watch are you wearing now ? Still Garmin ? I was looking into one but I was not sure what to get
You made my day today I have been doing scapula rotation work prior to all my workouts for about 2 years and physically do not see much benefit in muscular definition. However I was unsure what I was doing was correct and this episode assured me what I was doing is correct. Great when an athletes of your calibre shows the small stuff, rather than the average oh look at me bench 500 😂 great episode love the content you inspire me I’m 62 and train daily not looking to become a world class athletes at this age but it’s been a lifestyle since I was 16, I feel great and fitter than I have ever been. Paul🏴
I'm so psyched to hear that you plan to be pushing out more videos!!! You've been a huge inspiration to me. I recently beat my drug addiction and after the high of quitting drugs started to subside, I started to feel lost. Then I found Wim Hof breath work and cold water which is my life now lol. I love cold water! but yah cold water led me to you. Watching your videos and listening to you has inspired me so much I've lost 50+ pounds in 2/3 months. I love what you're doing. Thanks and cheers mate!!!!
Ross you should rly start doing more vlogs from your training lifestyle + your knowladge of sports. So interesting, so diffrent then rest of the "fitnes" world.
@@RossEdgley Like i appreciate the shared knowladge and books :) also we understand that with so much training and life in general, its not so easy to spend a lot of time in front of camera. But it would be nice and well spread amongs the people.
