Welcome to our E-Lecture Series - "Dharohar - Studies in Indian Archaeology, Art and Heritage" organized from 07 - 13 May 2024, on the occasion of the fourth Birth Anniversary of The History Enthusiasts. # Lecture 9 is on the interesting topic of "Brief Historical Survey of Studies in Indian Temple Architecture (1800-1950)", live on our RUclips Channel at 04.30 PM on 13 May 2024. Our Resource Person is Dr. Gopal Joge, Assistant Professor in Indian Art, Department of AIHC & Archaeology, Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Yerwada, Pune. Specializing in Śaivism and its visual manifestations during the Early Medieval Period as well as Archaeology of interaction, contestation and appropriation between Śaivism, Vaishnavism and other allied sects in Early Medieval Period, Dr. Joge has about four scores of scholarly articles and book chapters to his credit.
