Thank you so much for this nice video, I get to learn a lot of wisdom how sun in Ladakh can make ladakhi feel heaven in winter. dear Acholy as i dont know much about solar heated house but i do know that your the most genius person who has complete knowledge about how really we can make our home ladakh a carbon natural home. getting into it i would and also many ladakh brother and sister would like to know, what is the best way to build a simple house with complete solar house and a small bathroom which could be use well for our winter in Ladakh with the material available in ladakh easly. a details step by step video would be very very helpful for us. your the harsh winter guru for us. I understand ur very busy with many many projects but my humble request if you could make a video to right way to build a passive solar house for every ladakhi. thank you.

Hello sir. The idea of passive solar heated houses is amazing in all aspects. But you only described about the heating of rooms in winter. So I want to know how these mechanism works in summer to keep our rooms cooler. Please explain if u have time. 🙏

During summer season sun goes through up from our head(like 90°) so there is no direct sun rays come through glasses and temperature remain constant due to insulation .. likewise in winter sun goes around 45° angle which sun rays directly strike on South facing glasses. Which absorb all sunlight energy through black wall and glass helps to prevent it from heat losses as well as wall too .
Insulation works because of different molecular structure and bond .For example when we put iron or steel it in fire , it's transfer heat slowly to bottom of handle due to same properties . In Simple way .. why we use clothes to take hot utensils because for insulation from hot steel .... Same like in wall too ..

The overhangs help to reduce the heat gain from the Sun in summers, and you can further reduce overheating by opening the windows :)
