I for one love the look.
I saw it years ago, thinking it was an expensive gimmick, but beautiful. I'm pleasantly surprised now.

Lots of negative here so let me balance it a bit. Bought one last month and have never played guitar so much. Great for picking up different styles, chord progressions etc and the sound to me is stunning with the effects. Glad to see these in PMT

Remember when Ovation claimed to be the most innovative guitars then over time people realized they just sound like wire strung on a rusty barrel? Getting the same vibes.

I do remember it. It's nothing like that. Ovation kept secret how the guitar sounds, whereas Lava is everywhere and they actually play it for you and let you play it.

I wrote a lot earlier so Im just gonna shorten it into bullet points
+ this company isnt the first to offer something like this and is pretty high priced for what it is
+ the shape and material of an acoustic guitar is important to its sound and it seems like the people making this guitar fully ignored that
+ almost all of the brands offering something similar to this market themselves as the "smartest" acoustic guitar (although ToneWood amps dont seem to do so)
+you seem to go on about it having a screen and seem to mention that it has one anytime you talk about how "smart" the guitar is
thats all sorry for rambling haha

The smartest guitars are the ones played by amazing guitarists.
Tommy Emmanuel doesn't need built in DSP effects or needs to be swamped in nasty reverb to sound amazing.
It sounds awful acoustically. There is a reason why good guitars look so 'normal', and that is because the sound box and bracing is proven to give the best sound.
This thing has no fabulous natural overtones, harmonics, or depth of balanced tone, it sounds awful.

    Not for me at all.
You can cram too much technology into something where it ends up taking away the soul of what it’s meant to be.
    These are artificial guitars.

I hate to sound like a traditionalist but I just cannot get over how terrible they look
