    The Gun.
    BKA 98 is a non-firing replica of an 1860 Groswold & Gunnison revolver. It is made by Denix of Spain. The mark BKA is due to an old German law which stated that all the replica weapons should pass a test of the Federal Criminal Police Office Bundeskriminalamt, abbreviated BKA. It was made for collectors, reenactors, theatrical prop, etc.

    The ship,in the picture ,was F18,known as the HMS ZULU.
    She was sunk ,14 September,1942,by German JU-87,and JU-88, aircraft,after bombarding Tobruk,and rescuing some crew members of HMS Sikh..
    She suffered 12 killed,27 missing,and 1 wounded.,and the rest were taken up,by HMS Coventry(a cruiser),during "Operation Agreement",a commando raid,on Tobruk.

      I think it's actually HMS Flamingo (L18) which was a sloop that also served in WWII. There was a period where Flamingo carried pennant F18, and served in the Middle East, which lines up with the documents regarding the interrogation Stare found later in the video. So, A.C. Bagley, served on HMS Flamingo into post war, and earned the Defense medal - can't figure it out from there.

      People get old - die - plane-crash? The council are not allowed to just take over - there is a process to find next of kin etc. This all takes time and paperwork - meanwhile the vandals discover and do their work. Sad waste. - Idea: - Someone should set up a voluntary house-watchers group or something of the like to prevent this type of thing happening.

Why he chose to just leave it makes no sense. Even if he had no surviving relatives as an ex service man I'm surprised he didn't leave it to Help the Hero's charity or any charity close to his heart it's selfish to just leave it to be ransacked, vandalised and rot. I'm sure here in the UK if someone dies without leaving a will the government take possession of the property and get the local council to clear it out then sell the property at auction correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that's how the process works ?
      I'm guessing the reason the government haven't yet cleared and sold this property is due to the fact it's in a remote location and hasn't yet come to thier attention.

Glad you were able to show some treasures in the attic..it seems the attic holds the undisturbed history of the house's former owner. That does not appear to be a toy gun. It's truly a shame to see so many once wealthy British families left to live in what's left of their estates. The money is gone and the cost of maintenance was prohibitive, so the old folks are left with the ruins of their palatial homes, camping out in only a few of the rooms. The good days gone forever and so are they. Again, such a damned shame.

    • @RockeyMarle
      @RockeyMarle 2 года назад +1

      Yes, that's probably what happens - people get old and obsolete, too weak to maintain the place and tradesmen are expensive and some ripoffs. Once the roof starts leaking the ceilings go and wood-rot sets in and it's all downhill from then on.

    Many times, a loved one that was lost/died abroad and could not be returned home, the family would plant a tree or a plant bed of the deceased's favorite flowers/plants was set in place and a commemorative cross driven into the ground in their memory.
    The pistol may very well be a Lead metal toy but for the most part, the "toy" pistol was a much smaller version of the real thing. From the looks of what you found, it appears to be an old Navy 'cap and ball' pistol (real), usually black powder based, which cannot handle the greater power of modern powders. If this is the case, I hope they don't try to fire it!!
    The Boar Head appears to be some form or fashion of scrimshaw, usually containing a hidden/recessed pipe bowl scraper.
    There appear to be sufficient British Naval artifacts, that the medals, pictures and other military goods could be placed in a shadow box, made from the remaining furniture to properly celebrate the contribution of the Leftenant during WWII. Cheers and good hunting!!

    The box of metals is a game box, open play backgammon out side checkers or chess. The boar's Head look like part of a walking cane and it's probably carved out of ivory and I hope you put it all back together properly. Beautiful fines. The beautiful leather books for protected in that box I hope you close them all back up. The books look like first edition too. And the pink box was pretty awesome with the King and Queens embossment. Looks like the house was turned into a boy's school after WWII. The gun looked like an early to mid 1800's. Some of the china and crockery may be valuable to, I know antique store love to get a hold of the wood furniture.
    You guys need to try to start some type of preservation foundation to save some of the beautiful artifacts that you find in the homes you explore.

Who are his siblings, children if he have any? Or married? Your making a video about this ? There’s a lot of antiques etc. But the most important thing for me? English manor home the architecture is amazing reminds me of Henry VIII palace at Hampton Court. Sadly, no one plans their death, or even thinks to donate excess belongings to those less fortunate before their demise. Some of the furniture dates to the 40's, bathroom fixtures to the 60's and odds n ends 1970's. Why, why, why do people hoard possessions when so many people are without and why not share before your death?

    Look up at the second floor window on the left as Stare walks to the front door. At 1.32 something white flashes by the bottom right pain. If you play with it and get to the very end of 1.32 you will catch it. It moves across during the end of the second. I saw something but wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining it so I asked my wife what she saw, she saw the white flash by, then I showed her the frame ( which took a few tries to catch at the end of that second) and immediately said the face of a little girl. That was what I saw as well. Does anyone else see it? And Shade can you catch it with the original and be able to capture it better ? Thanks.

    • @robertgustison3249
      @robertgustison3249 4 года назад

      @@santinowilliams693 Yes, I should have added that detail. The face is in the bottom left pain then the white flurry to the right and the face again for a fraction of a second in the bottom right pain, then the camera moves on. It was very hard for me to stop the tape to catch the bottom right face but after a lot of misses I got it. Not sure what this was or what caused it. With all of the CCTV in the world I do not know why we are not flooded with film/pics of these things if they exist. Logically I cannot accept the existence of ghosts except for the inexplicable fact that I saw the same one multiple times in our home of a little girl that came and went right before my very eyes. The strange part, other than the obvious, was that she was always looking at me. My wife and daughter saw her as well on different occasions. ???
