Hello, as an officer of Doi Inthanon National Park, I would like to apologize and clarify that in order to walk to study nature in Mae Pan, it is necessary to hire a local guide. The price of hiring a guide is 200 baht per group, not more than 10 people per group, whether it is foreign or Thai people, they must hire the same. The reason for having a guide is because the route will be up and down the hill. It is a steep and deep path. We are afraid that if tourists go to each other and have an accident or get lost in the area, it will make it difficult to contact and help. We also have Mae Ya Waterfall, Wachirathan Waterfall, the double pagoda and the highest peak that is open for free without having to hire a guide. Finally, we apologize for this mistake and thank you for visiting our Doi Inthan National Park.🥰💓
In fact, tourists have to search for information first. It's not that after paying, they are not satisfied and later complained that this was considered incorrect.

@@BobodiMobil 1. Answer : Thai people must pay. Because it is a protected area that is apart from tourism. and will only be open for certain months That's not a tourist attraction. Because that is a conservation area. 2.Answer : That requires a local guide to provide knowledge about the types of plants, wildlife, geography, etc., which is educational. It's not just navigation. Our country's tourism goes hand in hand with preserving nature. If you do not want to enter the protected area You can explore other places in the park such as the pagoda, Ang Ka Nature Trail. or a viewpoint on the highest mountain peak and a coffee shop

Why does it always have to be the same message? You answer everyone and feelings. Don't bring your emotions to answer like this. He came to explain the park and you just didn't read his. Take it easy before deciding anything and don't bring the same message. Tomorrow it will definitely be out and he will explain.
Name the clip Doi Inthanon - Awas Jebakan Betmen. Before traveling, you must study the information first every time. Wherever you go, the entrance ticket for foreigners must be more expensive than for local people because them pays taxes to the state. So, you cannot come to him for the same price as the locals and having a tour guide in the national park or a large national park. There is a risk that not knowing or being accustomed to the place well enough may cause harm or death. Good or bad, you may fall into the abyss and die or being physically harmed by an animal. Therefore, for certainty, we must use an interpreter to guide us, which is best if we are foreigners. Local people come to visit regularly he didn't need an interpreter to guide him. Because we've been all over the place using an interpreter anywhere in the world at tourist attractions always requires a fee. He wouldn't waste his time doing it for free. There is nothing free in this world, remember that. We have to ask him first how much the price is. If you think it's very expensive. We don't need to be able to use it. Because he didn't force anything. It depends on the tourist's own free will and you yourself should not assume that he is defrauding anything like the name of the clip. Time to travel to Indonesia hiring porters to carry things up the volcano is also many times more expensive than here or hire a local guide in Bali, which is very expensive. We are willing to pay him. It's like giving a tip for his time. Once hired, they will complain that it is expensive. So I'll quickly come to a conclusion. He scams tourists because of the expensive price. Then it's completely stupid. Before traveling, you must ask first or find information first or you can ask the officials in that area.

The first trail that you have to pay for a guide is open in winter only. And yes, to support the community. Most of them(the trail guides) are hill tribes from the village around there. And we have a lot of trouble with them. This is the way out for the national park. Perhaps we can't find the job for them. They may make more trouble. So If you desired to follow them up to the trail's view point. You will see the big empty land behind the mountain. There are a lot of mountains and hills without any trees. That will show you how they can destroy the forest. But anyway, there are two other trails with free entrance that you have missed. Those trails are much more easy to walk. The forest at the top of Inthanon mountain is the last place we have left now. So please understand that why they have to do. Not only foreigner tourists that have to pay. But we also have to pay too. With love from Thailand 🇹🇭. I'm the local but not the hill tribe.
Basically, public properties are local tax preserves and people, so it is extra cost for foreigners to get in. Hope you enjoy it. I miss Indonesia, too.

Doi Inthanon collects only the entrance fee to the national park. You can travel without a guide in all areas, except for the one place where you need to hire an experienced guide, which is a few hour walk through the Kiew Mae Pan rain forest. This is mandatory so tourists don't get lost in the complicated trails. But at the entrance, you can join in groups. There will be staff who will recommend and organize groups for you. As for other places, you can walk around on your own. If you study before coming or ask Thai tourists, you will know more than reading reviews of people who have encountered problems. Once you are knowledgeable, you can refuse a guide's offer of services even if they have a way to persuade you. You won't feel like you've been tricked.
Admission fees to tourist attractions in many countries people in that country must already pay taxes to that country. Therefore, the entrance fee for foreigners is more expensive. For example, at Angkor Wat, foreigners pay 37 dollars to enter, but nationals are free. Welcome to Thailand.

At Tegalalang rice terrace, after paying the entrace fee listed by the village people need to pay extra separately at every posts set up by villagers without tickets issued. Ini memang SCAM! At Gunung Batur, although the authority allows visitors to climb freely without tour guide, the villagers still set up posts to scam tourists forcing them to rent their guides. If tourists refuse, the villagers will threathen or even harm them. This is not a scam tapi memang CRIME!

Such as national parks, ancient sites, and others because these places are considered to belong to the land of Thailand and all Thai people. e.g., Grand Palace in Bangkok It is one of the places described.
Some countries may not do what Thailand does, I understand, but you guys must understand that each country has different rules.
Sometimes we have to research the details of the place we are going to ourselves. Especially the rules of the place that may not have someone to explain every time there are many tourists. e.g., in a national park no one explains the rules but you have to know the rules of the national park yourself. Many times we have to study each country's regulations ourselves on what to do when we go because no one always explains it to us.
I know that you will definitely have to study a lot of things on your own. Like in the clip, you have carefully read the signs showing the rules of the place. but I understand that sometimes it may not be clearly stated or completely accurate as you might find with local guides.
It's not a scam.Thai people have to pay a lot of taxes to maintain national parks. That's why we pay less than tourists for the tickets.
That's not the point, dear.. The point is tourist was not informed that we must pay for local guide to explore (in addition to the official ticket that we paid). We paid the ticket without knowing that we have to pay extra for local guide inside (1. surprise cost). Another thing is the route is easy, no need guide (2. not valueable spending). Much nicer to explore by ourselves.. Hope you understand what I mean.
@@BobodiMobil
The officials in the park had already come to explain. In fact, tourists have to search for information first. It's not that after paying, they are not satisfied and later complained that this was considered incorrect. It's a regulation. Hiring a local Thai guide for Thai people also requires paying.
Go to Bali or visit one of Indonesia's volcanic national parks. The entrance price for foreigners is 10 times more expensive than national parks in Thailand. Let alone Thais, other nationalities also pay normally, and no one has complained.
@@elmirafavela3463 That's right, Thai people have to pay as well. Because that place is a special area. It is not open for entry all year round. Therefore, hiring a guide is appropriate. Because I gained knowledge from studying nature that is unique to the area.
I am Thai people and want to tell you. Tourist attractions have 2 types of entrance tickets because it is the law of the country. The first type is Thai citizens' rights. The other one is not cheating but is the normal price for foreigners.

It‘s not a private company property where prices are mostly the same for both Thai and foreign tourists. If a private establishment in Thailand charges foreign tourists a fee that is higher than the price for Thais, they may file a complaint, but this must be considered according to law. e.g., some Thai restaurants charge foreign tourists a higher price for food than Thais. You can report the crime immediately because it is against the law.
Thailand has laws that require symbols to be displayed clearly to indicate prices and not be concealed as a scam. When you find wrongdoing by Thai entrepreneurs, please report it. Thai people will be grateful because no one will support those who break the law for their own benefit and make the tourism sector worse overall.

- Pengalaman pribadi -
I am Thai and would like to explain to you. Where is the entry price for Khathi Parade Park or where in Thailand there is an entrance fee? More tourists than Thai people Because everywhere there is a maintenance fee and Thai people pay taxes to the government every year and we pay taxes every day. On products that we buy in the store, there will be 7% VAT.
Not making noise Because there are wild animals here. We shouldn't disturb them. Because this is their home. You should also respect wild animals. Because if there is a loud noise They will panic.
Saran saja ci.

Don’t worry, banyak air terjun yg lbh cantik yg bakal kita liput yaa dan temples juga 💖💖💖

In some countries, their citizens enter for free. or pay a lower entrance fee than foreigners
Well, it's "fair" because we pay taxes to the government every year.
"Foreign" people do not pay taxes to the government.🇹🇭🇮🇩🇹🇭🇮🇩

I visit Indonesia especially Bali every year.
That's NOT the concern. I don't mind paying "foreigner ticket price". You can read my response at the pinned comment.

@@lyonhwa6330 Males aja sih tiap spot dimintain duit lagi padahal tiket foreigner udah jauh lebih mahal. Dan utk hal yg unreasonable. Mending clear dari awal tiket 1000 baht, daripada bayar 300 utk nothing, sampai atas susah2 baru mesti bayar 200, 100, dll dll tiap spot. Kalau ngga mau bayar intinya ga bs lihat apa2. Yah mungkin suatu saat mengalami sndr baru lbh paham 😄
