Your repair skills are impressive.
I was at a Laundromat about a few weeks ago and I used the 4 load washer and it was making a loud banging noise on the spin cycle. It was so loud that the entire laundry mat heard it and possibly my deceased grandfather 😂. I had mostly jeans but there was a lot room in the washer. Machine is under maintenance repairs now.
Hey Keenan, on my Speed Queen stack dryers i can reach in thru the lint drawer opening to change those wheels, as long as the “outside “ nuts are lock tighted!
Yea, this one the nut backed off. I had so many you try to do it thru lint tray. Only to have the backing nut come off. My luck not so good.
Occasionally the outer nut comes loose when you back off the roller side nut, then you have to pull the front off. I've had it happen a couple of times. But then I put lock-tite on the stud and use my impact to tighten the hell out of it.. 😅. Never have a problem after that..
I put some lock-tite on the outer bolt stud and then you won't have to pull the front off of the machine when you change the rollers in the future.

This is a prime example where some preventative maintenance will go a long way. Realistically, depending on traffic and use, those dryers should ALL get the front panels removed at least quarterly, to get rid of all that lint buildup where it doesn't belong. It would save the wear on the machines and eliminate a fire hazard. Speaking of which, I am willing to bet that 98% of all laundromat dryer fires are caused by the neglect shown on this video.
Keenan, you are a good guy and do a lot of good things, so take my comment as advice rather than an insult.

I am looking at my first free laundry. There are many gurus that say you need to re-tool. I don't understand that. These things are easy to fix. Rather than spending $10K I can replace the bearings, computer board, lint trap and everything else for $500 hundred dollars. What am I missing here and why buy new?
Hey keenan, Off topic question. How can I decode serial numbers for Dexter washers and dryers. I would like to know how to decode them to find out the year made and where can I do a lien search for individual washer. I am interested to buy used and want to make sure they are owned free and clear. Thank so much.

Hi Keenan, wondering if you can tell me why my SQ Horizon is making a high pitch sound when spinning fast? When I replaced the bearings they looked good. Can a belt do this?
I never had a belt do that. So you just replaced the bearings? Because usually that high pitch noise is the bearings.
