Idk what the percentage split would be but there's definitely women who want to be approached/don't have ridiculous standards but there's no way to tell the difference between a normal woman and a high maintenance one at first glance and approaching the wrong one's can lead to such negative or hostile responses that after awhile, we just give up. Dating has become a minefield of drama and work, it's tiring. Generally we want peace, not problems. Doesn't help that most women's cues are so goddamn subtle either.
