    How rpm ốt chain

  • @gangesexcavating
    @gangesexcavating 5 лет назад

    .404 chain is handy to deal with on the smaller heads. We use it on the 622B’s up here. Once you move into the larger heads like the 624 and 626 3/4 chain is normal

    How's that head in hardwood?

    • @BEARDEDHARVESTER
      @BEARDEDHARVESTER  3 года назад

      It’s pretty rough on the head and machine in general in any hardwood over about 15”. But in smaller diameter hardwood it’ll do pretty decent without too much abuse. Thanks for watching. I’ll be back at it soon.

    That is a smart design on the bar change out, is the chain a
    .404 size?
    I'm trying to understand why some heads are 3/4 and some are .404
    Thanks for sharing!

      Pm Tips yes it’s a great design and I’m not sure why they have different sizes and yes this is .404. Thanks for watching. Happy new year

      @@BEARDEDHARVESTER Oh damn, nice to hear that. I loved your videos, since you are almost the only one who is working in an Harvester/Forwarder operation and where you make videos where you communicate with the people. Im really looking forward to new stuff tho ^^

    It doesn’t seam to have the power of the ponse, what’s your verdict.
    Alan.

      @BEARDEDHARVESTER  5 лет назад

      Alan Pearce the main thing I notice is holding power of the knives. Those grab arms will hold onto something twice as big as the ponsse as well as the feed power beats the ponsse hands down. This was solely set up for a demo a lot of the parameters were set low so those could still be turned way up I think it does have quite a bit more power all around then the Ponsse

      @@BEARDEDHARVESTER i thind youll doing it wrong. you wont have to use skrewdriver, that skrew is bleeding the air out the system. there must be one brass pin which looses the bar tention if you bush it. i have supercut100 saw on my jd1070e h754 head. and the the all supercut saws have the same solution to cahnge the chain. and your starting settings can be easyer, you can activate the boom, cabin levveling and rotation in one button but you have to setting it up that way in computer

      @@riffthetiffmaster9573 You can choose if you want the screw or brass pin! So no wrong.
