Not attempting to criticize here, but was something wrong with the setup, tires, or something else? It seemed you lacked the confidence to really make an attempt to battle the cars you're racing with, and you definitely had the pace to be in the thick of it and I think get by the 67 car. You were pretty great with traffic management and I think that could have let you build a gap if you had managed to get by. Hindsight is 2020 and I'm backseat driving here so feel free to shoot me down. Just a genuine inquiry and not an attack. Regardless, love the videos and keep racing, it's awesome to watch!
There was a red flag displayed which means a serious accident has occurred which requires the use of an ambulance and other equipment. So for the safety of everyone when a red flag is displayed you must pull over as soon as you can and wait for the corner worker to release you, usually under a yellow and/or black flag.

8:17 mistake was lifting the throttle a bit too much
Agreed. I lifted because there was a gt2RS barreling down the inside and I wasn't sure if he was going to leave room for 3 people so I chose caution!

In sim racing you can be much more aggressive in corners which is not that realistic compared to real world it seems
