Thanks for such an honest detailed breakup of your income which will be motivate thousands of people. I was a below average student in the collage days, and I struggled for 15 years to reach what you are getting in your 1st year of professional life and will struggle throughout my professional life as working in private sector. But one thing I can’t understand why this pay package and so many allowances don't motivate most of the SBI employees to work efficiently and give consumer a better experience. ☹☹

He has completed over 25 years of service and 4-5 years left him to retire.
But i can tell you one thing ; although i agree salary is Awesome. But considering work-life balance it's not at all a good job.
I have seen him always too involved in bank work ; even used to brought bank work at home and even now he does it. Transfers from district to district in 3 years was irritating.
In transfer they send in remote areas also with no good school.
Considering all those above i decided not prepare for any bank exam.
I m 21 now Preparing for SSC CGL.
I thought i should share this .
Bank is very very hectic job it drains your body and mind.

Life of inspector after getting promoted to section officer Or superintendent is also very hectic. With bigger post comes bigger responsibilities now in any govt job whether bank Or ssc.
I am working in pvt. Organization and i dont feel any struggle here. You just need to be smart to survive in IT industry. Not everyone can handle it and if someone does, he will earn too much. 10 year experience in india then move to US ( Salary - 1.5 crore easily)
The salary and perks is the main source of motivation for any bank aspirants I swear😂
It's trap don't go for bank po jobs instead go for pure govt jobs like ssc, lecture, teacher, professor etc..... yes they may take time but these are highly relaxing jobs.....

Forget everything, just tell your monthly salary and deduction. Do not describe about monthly, yearly and so on......Being a banker, I know what we do and what we used to get.

bhai Infosys gives take home salary of 25 thousand rupees to fresh engineers even in costly cities like bangalore. Even in that sudha murthy charity ke liye forcibily 600 dena padta hain aur wo jaake padmashree for social work leti hain. Just goes to show how much commission murthy is eating in between. All engineers should join banks instead.
Same in tcs, but there is beauty in IT sector. Switched 2 companies in 1 year and got 165% hike. The key is that you have to upskill yourself every day and give interviews. Now I am earning equivalent to bank po. But I am still learning programming languages and planning to switch next year with a decent hike. Point is bank po banna chaho ya private mai growth chaho, you have to work hard and keep learning.
With due respect IT job fellows will be thrown out of job when they are 40 or they themselves will get heart attack with the stress. Bank job gives life long pension and perks. Any day bank job is better than backoffice IT jobs in india which is only making companies rich who suck all the commission from end client dollars.
@Anil Prasanna depends on company. You always have option to switch. My manager is 55 + actually this concept is infused in your mind by coaching institutions. I remembered those days when I worked in TCS and also used to study after coming back home. I cracked the bank po exam but couldn't make it through the interview. My father was retiring, and now I didn't have the option to make more attempts with such a low salary. I started learning programming languages, and after 6 months of study, I was able to switch. I realized there is much less effort required to earn better in IT sector rather than competing for govt jobs in masses. There was one company which made my life hell but I again switched. I also do freelancing. Most people who r thrown out doesn't have specialized skills. In IT sector you have to be in sync with technology and time, or else you will be left behind. Yes, there is one drawback that you always have to learn but I am fine with it. Even I am not doing job I can earn by using my skills. With all due respect, bank employees mostly hate their jobs due to boredom and slow growth. I mean its up to you, if you like bank job go for it, but don't criticize other professions. My intention was only to tell you that you can earn a decent salary in 1 year if you choose to learn and switch your job.

A word of advice from a serving banker - If you are willing to sacrifice your personal life with added benefits of several health issues. While having the mental fortitude to face all challenges you are welcome. Remember salary is not an issue.

SBI POs are labelled as Officers, in actual, they are pressurised to sell SBI Life, SBI Mutual Fund, SBI General Insurance (PAI) forcefully and unethically ... If your performance gets slowed down in log-in days, then you will be abused by Regional Managers. And regarding Loans and NPA Recovery, you will become a High Blood Pressure and Diabetes Patient.. Nothing to say much..
Better start preparing for SSC CGL rather than getting trapped in these illusions of SBI PO job, which is not a banking job but a Salesman job.

A person facing a competition of around 10 Lakhs and passing three stages of recruitment of one of the toughest exams in india and you are giving him the work of a salesman. I don't think the person who cracked this exam would be ready to be salesman.

In hand Net salary is 67k
SSC CGL post like Income tax inspector has Inhand salary of 86k
And ASO has inhand of 91k with less work pressure and less transfers , both money wise and work life balance wise , SSC CGL is the best job.😂

If you wish to make Banking your career just for handsome salary, then why opt for SBI or any Nationalised Bank ? If you work for any reputed private bank then starting average salary as scale 1 officer comes to more than Rs.18.00 lacs. With promotion and based on your performance salary goes upto Rs.50 lacs per annum.
Which bank is offering that without MBA? Ofcourse an MBA from good college would choose that kind of job. Moreover handsome salary doesn't matter much as marginal propensity to consume gets lowered plus time for leisure also gets lowered. So it depends on how you want to live your life.

You are harbouring a very wrong notion. Private banks choose personnel who have experience and expertise in particular field of Banking. I have seen ordinary commerce graduates joining as clerks in reputed Banks like HDFC ,Axis etc. They get promoted as Officer in 2-3 years.

I have friends in HDFC. Salary is negotiable and performance based. Branch Managers and specialised officers have package of Rs.30 to 50 lacs p.a.
Front office clerks and officers draw much less say 30 to 40 thousand p.m.
Still an army of SBI POs throng in for SSC CGL yet to see someone going the other way....wonder why?
One question..all allowances other than in-hand is paid directly to us or we need to show bills to avail those allowances
Without bills they won't pay anything
Only furniture will be paid when bill is provided and leased is paid to owner account
You have to apply it every month on the internal portal of SBI called HRMS. And your controlling authority will approve it. And within 24hrs all allowances will be credited in your account. You don't have to produce any bill. Except for medical claims and Furniture. Your lease accommodation will be paid to your landlord.
A concept of auto approval is there in the HRMS portal in which with a few clicks you can claim your monthly perks

You arent assigned any specific role in probation period
Assessment tests and various training programs are part of your 2 yrs probation period. At the end your confirmation will deoend upon how much marks have you attained .
As far as Jaipur zone is concerned u need to have higher ranks in merit to get it.

Capital city me hi 17500 lease hai 4.furniture ke har year 42000 thousand nahi milte hai 5.working time fix nahi hai
I don't know why these Bank jobs are so glamorous, people who are ambitious and want to grow in life and career should never go for bank po jobs. I pay taxes equal to your entire per annum ctc ,so probably earning way higher than your branch manager only, way younger than you still our parents, relatives etc only think about govt and bank jobs! Please don't give wrong message to soceity by shwoing salary slips!
