Thanks mate, much appreciated great to hear from you. Haven't got many videos out lately, this winter season was my worst ever but spring is looking awesome. Had another crazy session the other night and it's looking like they might close the gates soon, hopefully I'll be out chasing Mulloway in the boat by the end of October, hopefully sooner cheers, YYYEEEWWW 👻🎣🍻🤙
@@ToddysMullowayAddiction yea been busy with working flat out haven’t had to opportunity to fish lately but seeing you vid puts a smile on the dial can’t wait to get down the mouth this summer try get a big slab of silver gold tight lines bro yeeeeeeeew
@JoshuaSmith-bw1gv yeah mate I'm frothing at the thought of the first trip in the boat, it's been a long time coming, have to catch up for a fish sometime cheers 👻🎣🍻🤙
Thanks mate, much appreciated, yeah with Mulloway if you want to catch them consistently you need to put a lot of hours in! I think serious Mulloway Fishermen are the most committed of them all cheers 👻🎣🍻🤙
I was talking to an old pro about mulloway fishing in the old days. He said one night they took 2 ton of mulloway. I tend to think they're hard to catch cuz the stocks have been decimated .
Yeah 💯 they decimated the stocks in the old days and they've never recovered, and the pros are still raping the oceans and Coorong Estuary today taking tonnes of fish before they even get a chance to breed 🤬
Great to see you back Toddy, Looks like you had a great session, Tommy and i went down a few weeks backs and did ok too. Looking forward to the next vid👍
Hey mate, I use 15 to 24 kg Diawa Beef stick with Diawa Saltist 8000 and Diawa BG 8000 reels, I have 80lb braid on my Saltist but I'm down grading to 50 lb, think 80 lb is a bit over kill and I have 30lb mono on my BG, if you want to check out all the gear I use, check out Episode 72 if you like cheers 🍻
I don't agree with that, if you check out my videos fishing on the beach and in my boat you cam see I shine my headlights in the water all the time otherwise my videos would be useless for viewers, you wouldn't see anything so if they get scared of the lights is must be only temporary
@ToddysMullowayAddiction yea I've been watching that's kinda why I asked an cos I'm just getting into mulloway fishing. I'm in western aus, cracked the code for pink snapper off the rocks took a few years to get there .. bloody love ur vids mate keep it up 👌 I'll be sharing the vids around
@fishinbob4 thanks mate, much appreciated for sharing glad you enjoy them. Yeah I'd love to fish WA one day, even thought of moving there, you have some awesome fishing over that way, don't get that many snapper off the beaches here like I've seen been caught over your way cheers 👍🏻
Thanks mate, much appreciated, to tell you the truth I don't worry about moon phases, this trip was just after the new moon but I have good trips on full moon, first quarter, last quarter, I think the winds have more to do with it. I like N to NE, S to SW, S to SE, don't do as well on NW and W although if it light winds I still do ok. I think the biggest factor is putting in the time and being there when they decide to eat, thanks for watching mate cheers 👻🎣🍻🤙
First in line😊 two hour wait😮 already reminding me of most mulloway adventures where we are waiting for that magic headshaking bite to bend the rod😂 looking forward to the viewing and comparing theories bud👍 Kind Regards Wayne and Angie.
Another awesome video love the reel sounds on the intro great to see you back out there fishing mate great vid good catch and tactics yeeeeeew

@ozdog822 thanks for the support mate, much appreciated
Hey mate out of all the experience u have what are ur thoughts on torches shining in the water I've been told it scares the mulloway away ??

What a brilliant session Todd, Great video! Do you think the moon phase was a contributing factor to you doing so well? Was it around a new/full moon?
