Never apologize for not finding the right words. I personally would have been a sobbing mess if I would have had to give the news you did and I think you did a great job on telling us the facts. Bad news is never easy and trying to not break down and put your emotions aside is hard. I commend you for being able to do that.
Absolutely. I would also be a wreck after all the stress of trying to treat the sweet babies only to lose them. Shawn is a great farmer though
@@TSUNAMI-MAMI , he is a great farmer. I have learned so much from him and I know I am not strong enough to deal with what he and H have to deal with. The good times are great but the hard times are hard and I know that I have great respect for people that can handle that. I know I just cannot.

@@TSUNAMI-MAMI , it is hard. I have had to make this decision a few times over the years and it was tough. We loved them and held them to the end. My children were there as well and everyone held them. It’s not easy but I want our face to be the last thing they see and for them to know nothing but our touch in their last few moments, not a stranger

I’m happy that things are looking better. It was 94 here today with a feels like 98, just miserable. I’ve lost 3 baby barn swallows from them falling into the water pans (only 3” deep). I hate when that happens. 0:06 Thanks for the update on everyone. Hopefully your fence issues are fixed, mine seem to be (at the moment).
It's just misserable weather ALL WEEK LONG.. HAVE NOT been outside in 2 days..so far no rain this week..weather predicted is OFF SOMEWHERE..

Sorry for the babies 😢😢❤🙏🏼I feel your pain I had to put my dog sleep yesterday but like my vet said in dog years she was 119 years old she was 17 she had a good life 😢it’s really sad

Frosty mum the fence tester today
I'm from Baltimore, but my ex and I moved to Long Island for less than two years before we up and moved to California. I took trains from Long Island to Baltimore and then took the bus to my grandmother's house to visit with family before leaving for parts unknown. I walked the mile from the bus stop to my grandmother's house (I wasn't in the middle of nowhere, this was a nice neighborhood near a golf course) and it was hot and humid. When my grandmother opened the door, she yelled at me, asking me if I was crazy and why didn't I call for someone to come get me. I said something like, "Well, hello to you, too" and went inside. It was at that point that I found out that it was 100 degrees with 110 percent humidity. For anyone who thinks 110 percent humidity means it raining, it's called supersaturated air and it happens when the air is "superheated" and it holds more water than it normally can. They were broadcasting for everyone to stay indoors. I was in my 20's, I had water with me, and I just sweated. It would be death-defying for me try something like that now.

Athena was Mississippi's (Gucci) baby and looked like her. Betty Boop looked alot like Ginger but had chocolate points instead of black ones. I think Ginger was her mother, but I'm not sure. My phone won't let me go back and check.
Since you mentioned a bobcat and/or a coyote, how do you protect the herd during the day when they are out in your pasture? I’m new here in case you’ve mentioned before.

Hang in there. I’d like to send you all a giant fan. It gets stupid hot here (120° in the summer) but zero humidity makes it tolerable somehow. It’s the soup that makes me struggle out east.

I know nothing about anything but.....have you ever thought of having a complete stall just for isolation of goat's who get ill or have runny bums.? I am a are you have done some isolation before as I have seen you do this. Do you think that due to the temperature and humidity in your area. could be a factor in the illnesses that have happened ? Would the vet say it is possible to give like a preventative to tape worms ? Like I say I don't know anything about anything so please see this as just someone who has watched your channel when you had 500 subs. I am just asking out of curiosity . It is not to lay blame at anyone as I know these things can happen beyond the your control. So please realize that I am genuinely so sorry for your losses as it is always heartbreaking I hope you and Mrs H are doing your best to get through this together 😢❤❤❤
