WOW! This looks like an absolutely wonderful route compared to old one.
I am going to buy this beast tomorrow. Finally, being able to drive to the station I spent 9 years visiting after walking into the high street of Surbiton. I can finally drive a proper Desiro which actually has the detail it deserves. I can finally admire the South West I know at love.

Honestly, I'd love to work with you guys on a colab some day. Sound is such a key part of any train simulator. Other than that, looks amazing!
A long time ago, DTG released the 9F. It was frankly a dismal failure, they then reworked it and, rather than give the update to original purchasers, sold it as "new" DLC until the community backlash coerced them into giving the update to original purchasers to display their "generosity". The same thing happened when they released a disastrous Class 66, but this time they remained firm: Purchasers of the original would have to buy the new, improved version, because it had a new skin.
Yes I get it, they have spent time on polishing one of DTG's more memorable routes, but their previous 'antics' mentioned in the above paragraph has given me pause to contemplate "why" this route has been refreshed for purchase (yet again for those of us who own the original). To me the motive is simple; it is cheaper to shine-up an existing route, as opposed to creating entirely new content in the form of a completely new route from hundreds of possibilities, and cheaper production costs = more profit.
Don't get me completely wrong here, I love DTG and Railworks / Train Simulator, however I have utter contempt for their business model, which would fall flat on its face if there was more competition in this niche genre. One only has to look at their recently-failed flight simulator, broken because said same business model could not compete in the face of greater competition. Dovetail, please wake up. Rid yourselves of deceptive and greed driven business practices, and you WILL make more profits by sheer volume of units sold. I'm sure figures from the recent Steam Summer sales will back-up what I'm saying.
You can write them romans or even novels... As long as they earn money with it they will stay the greedy for money douchebags
Very cool route and trains especially Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye and London Waterloo Station in the Train Simulator look!

P.S.: Is there any chance for an extension to Southhampton, either from Woking, from Portsmouth or from both?
Very nice. One thing though. I've seen screenshots of the 455 cab. It's not the SWT / SWR version. Must be the Southern version.

ben price The Version you got is Train Sim World "Founders Edition". The full game releases this July and you can get it for a discount since you own that version. I believe it will have more stuff.
In terms of the graphics difference between the original, and the new one is amazing for both the route and the trains themselves, however I do worry about the sounds tho, as I feel they would be reused sounds.

And it would be a shorter route the same way the TSW version of Hagen to Siegen now only runs half the original route. And the same way TSW GWR only runs to Reading compared with Oxford of the original route

You don't have the completely relaid track to have super elevation, you don't have the new mks model for one of the trains and you don't have the 20 odd miles of track to Waterloo. Yiu expect months of manpower hours to go unpaid? jog on

When you going to release these sorts routes for tsw the game is slipping atm the baises is there but atm it's very basic

Please, someone tell me how to turn that stupid driver vigilance system off, can only drive train for a few seconds before it sounds an alarm at 150 decibels and slams on the brakes. It's so boring.
