I have been wanting to ride the Cardinal from Chicago to Charleston & then on to Washington for some time now. Hopefully, once this COVID is finally under control I can! So far I have been on Amtrak's Maple Leaf from NY to Toronto; the City of New Orleans from Chicago to NO & South West Chief from Chicago to LA. From the videos I've seen so far (both from your great drone footage and other videos from onboard the train & my own Amtrak train trips, the Cardinal seems to offer the best views. Thank you for again sharing your excellent footage.
Couldn't help but notice the brouchures shown for the current operators of the Cass Scenic Railroad. Have you ever been to Cass and/or considered doing any drone videos there?
I’m taking the Cardinal in July from Wilmington, DE to Chicago. I’ve taken NE regional to NYC pretty regularly and used to take the train to Richmond for school but this will be an adventure (also taking train to Springfield, IL to see Lincoln sights)
@@timr4615 I was really wondering why it was so late, I thought it could have been like Charleston wv it takes 20 minutes to get everyone on board safe and I thought that some other stations would be the same way. Thanks for letting me Know!
