I like all them! Thank you kindly for the inspiration. Here are some short words for you. Ho Ho, Fa la la, holly, jolly, Jesus, Santa, bells, nice, naughty, frosty, merry and bright. 🎄💕
I have a large collection of beads. My daughter, who just got married, wants handmade ornaments and decor. You have perfect timing. I shared your video with her so she could decide what she likes.
I am so excited for Christmas this year. I cannot put my tree up until after Thanksgiving dinner. I always want to, but growing up, my dad was adamant that we be thankful first. Since he passed in 2001, everytime I think that I will put my tree up early, I hear his voice "we have to be thankful first". This year I am doing rustic/diy ornaments and red and black Buffalo check. I made garland out of twine, wood beads, and dollar tree snowflake ornaments... so cute. I also have had MANY great ideas from tour channel, this year in particular, for ornaments. So excited to see them all on my tree this year.
I have a set of clear glass ornaments....super old. Gifted to me from a dear friend. They were passed down in her family to females. They reflect the lights so beautifully! My fave!!! Loving all of these so far!
I usually put up my tree the day after Thanksgiving(My grandma's tradition). Then decorate the house. This year I have already started decorating. I'll wait until closer to Thanksgiving to put the tree up. I am adding more rustic farmhouse and more candy/elf decor.
My style of tree is victorian. I have clear iridescent ice cycles, porcelain balls with old English roses, lace angle ornaments. You get the picture. In transition this year won’t get to use my tree or ornaments. But it will still be Christmas. LOVE your videos ❤️
The ornament with the music paper in would be lovely for the family to write their christmas wishes on. Oh my sweet lord I LOVE that idea with the beads and the little string balls on the lights!!! Brilliant. I normally give off about people putting their decorations up this early. This year, here in Ireland, we're back in lockdown. It's so tough being isolated again going into winter and shorter hours of daylight. I told the kids last night that the decorations are going up this weekend. Other years I've given off thinking "it's not fair on families with little money. Increases the pressure on them" but this year I'm thinking "Sweet Lord we need some twinkling lights. We need to look forward to a HAPPY event." Also, only essential workers at moment and they are having to take their daily exercise allowance after they get home - usually in darkness. It'll light their way going around as a very small "Thanks for keeping things going" gesture. I don't really have a style. I have a mix of old and new. Some of my ornaments are older than me (I'm 50!) that I got from my mom. And others are very contemporary. Total mishmash. If it looks good and/or fills a space it stays! I'll make it fit. Every decoration is kept until it falls apart (and even then it depends! Santa statuette missing a robin (now looks like he's blowing kisses) and a porcelain angel ornament that is now missing half an arm and the dove that was sitting in that hand. She's still gorgeous so she stays.
I’m really LOVING your ornaments! They’re simple but Christmasy and either Farmhouse or natural looking. Your designs on the last couple of videos have been so attractive! The little chalk board tags are adorable!
We do a real tree so we put up our tree on the first or second weekend in December. My style is color color and more color! Glitter, candy ornaments, ribbons, twinkling colorful lights. The kids love it.
Thank you for sharing. I must say this has been the best video I’ve seen for DIY. For me it’s the simplicity of it. Especially since my time is limited.
I usually put my tree up on Thanksgiving!! Get a workout in after eating so much...😊🙄can’t let go of fall until then...however since I am a new craft youtuber I will probably put mine up so I can do some fun stuff!!! Your ornaments are beautiful simple and budget friendly for sure! Love the simplicity!! I think I love the clear ones too!!! Great job!! ❤️❤️
Love it all. Decorate thanksgiving weekend cause I want to enjoy all the fall first. I'm eclectic, whatever I love I make it work. Between my craft and purchased items, my family loves it!
Ohhhh Megan, Megan, Meagan ... I absolutely LOVE every single one of these ornaments!! I think that I'll be making them all ... Thank you so very much for the inspiration!!!
I could sit and watch your videos all day everyday you keep me wanting to craft all the things!! I love love the clear ornaments! I can’t wait too see your tree, with all the clear ornaments... I know your home and tree will look gorgeous!!!
You just made some adorable, very nice ornaments!! These are the kind of ornaments I would definitely make. Thank you for the inspiration!! Have a great day!!!
Oh my word, every one of these ornaments are gorgeous. I am going to get some of those clear ornaments, I keep passing them up, but I have the ball vase fillers and putting them in the clear ornaments is genius. I love all of these ornament ideas.
I always decorate and put up my tree the day after Thanksgiving. I'm not changing for 2020 like many are doing. I find that while I LOVE everything looking Christmasy I have to not keep it up too long as I grow tired of it and the next year I have a harder time with the process of actually getting it up. Keeping it "short" keeps me excited. My style: I tend to be more elegant with decorations in the living room and more whimsical elsewhere. Outside I love tons of lights - not in a throw them on kind if way but across eaves and roof line, around windows, threaded through trees and bushes all in white, red and green.
I absolutely loved all of these ornaments. I am so glad that you made this video. I want to make some ornaments for my tree this year and this has given me some more ideas 💡. Small words, Holly, jolly, merry, snow, Christ, love, elf, elves..... Hope this helps. Happy Crafting 😊
I will be making some of these with my sister who has been having a hard time. It's cool that you don't have to spend a lot to be able to make some really nice Christmas ornaments. Thank you! My favorite
I love every one of these. Saturday is ornament craft day for my sons and I. We will do some of these. Great thing is i already have lots of these supplies already.
Gurl!!! You are truly a Southern Woman - I just heard “Cattywampous” come right outta your mouth!!!!! I love it!!! ❤️🥰❤️. Merry Christmas from Virginia!
Thinking of putting together craft "kits" for the grandkids for Christmas. Looking for simple easy crafts that they will be able to make. The material for the bell wreaths are definitely being added.
The best! I’m decorating mid century!! So many of the videos I’m viewing can b changed to fit this popular style of the 50’s & 60’s. What I live about your last two videos is the simplicity of creating the decoration and you explain the steps clearly, definitely going to make them in your style. Cheers
Your ornaments are awesome!!!! Since my oldest was born on thanksgiving 21 years ago she still has a fit if I decorate before thanksgiving. So literally thanksgiving night I start. Lol
you are seriously so creative. I love your ideas. I was at dollar tree earlier trying to buy some stuff to diy my ornaments and drew a huge blank. I came home and saw your video so I can get a list of things to buy! you are awesome!! Thank you so much!
I’m not new to the word catywompus, or whorawlsnest either. Grandparents are really awesome for those kinds of words. Makes me feel homesick. But it’s in a good way. Thank you for all you do for us, your ideas and care for detail. Can’t wait for the next video!
I love love love all of your beautiful ornaments!! You are so creative and the ornaments cost pennies!! Thank you for sharing. xo Linda from New Orleans
Girl...these are all freaking amazing! I can’t wait to do my tree now! You have given me the BEST ideas ever!!! Your so talented sister!!! I can’t get enough of your cuteness!🥰❤️🌲🖤🌲🤍 you blow me away!
These are all great. I have some OLD glass ornaments that I have to have on my tree each year. My mama used them on out tree when I was little. I don't really have a COLOR. But I really liked the ones you did today. Dt here I come!
You NEVER cease to AMAZE me! You always come up with the coolest ideas and make them look so easy. I LOVE ALL of these. I swear girl....HOW does your brain work like this?? I am TRULY going to do some of these bc for first time in years I got a real tree and want that natural/woodland type decor. How PERFECT are ALL of these. Honestly...thank you so much!
i love how easy these look and also how pretty! a lot of diy's either end up costing way more than just buying it or they look too handmade to me, lol. these were perfect.
These were all good and simple . The red berry ornament by itself is stunning, I will make that one for sure. Decorating next weekend, need some happy times with all that is going on. TFS and for your inspiration. Have a great day !
I love these ideas! Always worth watching your videos. I do very traditional colors with some farmhouse mixed. This is my favorite time of year. Thanks for sharing!!
Oh Megan! These are ALL such good ideas!! I’m trying them..... they’re so simple and rustic farmhouse.... you always inspire me!! TYFS your talent with us! Be blessed!!!
I didn't know about the snap together ornaments, I am racking my brain about how to put a picture of each grandkids picture in with a Christmas scene for when I have the kiddos over for craft with Nana day. They can then give to mom and dad for a Christmas present. Thanks for the idea, friend!
Oh my goodness sweetheart I’m so excited to see your videos every time you upload one. I love love 💗 what you’ve done an amazing job on this on the budget ornaments you can’t really tell that they were dollar tree purchases. Thanks 🙏 for sharing them with us especially with me. Have a blessed weekend can’t wait to binge on the other videos. Many blessings to you and your family always
Love love love these!!! Last year i went with all wooden ornaments and put in ornaments made by our pass down by family. This year I'm going with a red and black buffalo check with wood and glass accents. We'll see how it turns out! I'm always a big Fall person and love leaving my fall decor up as long as possible, but this year I'm so excited for Christmas!!! I've already bought more decor and DIY supplies and gathered up thing i already have and have it waiting in the wings! Might have to give in a decorate early!!!
My favorites are the music notes in the light bulb ornament, the wood bead circle ornament, the pip berry ball ornament, the wood bead and wicker ball garland, the tag ornaments, and the stuffed ornament with berries, greenery, and snow (we made several of those last year).
Doing copper and white this year. Not many items out there that are inexpensive and a true copper color. So I have been doing a TON of painting. Ripping ornaments apart, painting and putting back together! Tis the season! 💚
I love getting the decorating done as early in November as I possibly can! I use a lot of earth tones. Gold. I made ornaments twenty-seven years ago, out of material. Red & cream stripes. Blue & cream. Gave snowmen pom pom hats,, I glued buttons on them. I worked really hard with a 2 year old and 9 month old running around my house. I will never get sick of these ornaments! 😄
Ong what great ideas, Thank You, from the music rolls to the berries, bells ,wooden planks, and the clear ornaments super cool & what's really great is i have most of the stuff, yay. Big Thumbs Up.
