HOW TO DEFINE SLAB SECTION IN ETABS V16

After Defining Special Column Section
Today we will see how to Define, Slab Section In ETABS.
For that, Steps are as follows, Go to Define: // Section Properties / Slab Section...
In Slab Property // Add New Property
There are two types of Slabs,
Two-way Slab, ly/lx less than 2
One way Slab, ly/lx more than 2

first will see Two-way slab,
------------------------------------------
write Property Name: 20S125 as Slab,
which means: S refers to Slab, 20 as Grade of the Concrete, & 125 is "Min assumed slab thickness". as per the slab design we have to assign the slab to ETABS.
Check with framing and assign accordingly.
After that Select the Material
i.e., M20 If you Need M25, then Don't close the window, click on the three dots button, from that You can define the different Material Property.
Such as,
M15
M20
M25
M30
M35
Select Modeling Type as, Membrane for two way & One way: Shell Thin used for Shell element.
Next Display Color, if you wish to change, change it or leave it like that,
Enter the Thickness as 125mm(5")
Click OK and Follow steps for assigning in the Model. There are three ways of placing slab panel in ETABS. Now will see for One way An arrow shows the indication of One way direction.
