Do you have any videos or links about improving ego strength? I'm pretty good on my own but it would be nice to not be needy within relationships. When I'm alone I expect nothing so it's fine but in relationships, I tend to feel unable to express my needs or wants. In fact, I usually find I'm unable to feel them because the other person's emotions over-ride my own. I don't have an addiction but I totally feel like all my problems are solved when I'm loved for who I am... it just doesn't seem to last. Proper love would be nice. I just seem to attract people who are selfish and unyielding.
Unsettling to hear the comparison with Diabetes.. IF you are referring to Type 2 Diabetes Please specify. Majority of those with T1Diabetes are Children & it’s an autoimmune condition with Nothing to do with eating too many sweets… if we don’t get insulin - we die quickly; it’s life support. Please update your terminology - this lack of specificity is destructive to those with Type 1 Diabetes. Thank you for taking this into consideration

What do we do when we have a problem of codependency with a narcissist and a severe alcohol problem who rages when drunk.
