*Fun fact:* 'lulu' actually means 'pearl' in Arabic. ☺☺
Both are different.. the grocery store is lulu (لولو) hypermarket and the pearl is luelue.. thats how its pronounced in arabic لؤلؤ (see the difference)

The fact that the first one happened to me too. I said the name, “Lulu”, and everyone started laughing.... 😭
As a teenager who has lived in Saudi Arabia for 7 years I absolutely relate to this especially the when a relative asks u to bring something absurd from there or if a friend ask u to get ur father to talk for a Visa.
KSA is like my second home. If someone in India asks me where my home is I have a hard time explaining it to them that it's the city of Jeddah, where I have spent the best 7 years of my life, from the beaches of Corniche and Obur to the numerous malls round the city, from the local baqalas to multi complexes like Lulu Carrefour and Danube,from roaming around freely to having the Iqama before the pyjamas, living in Jeddah was truly amazing.
Either way, golden days of my life living from 2011 to 2018, had to come back to India for my higher studies and due to many other reasons anyone living in KSA knows.
