Most of the quest vars effects in EE actually came from custom trigger packs. Built in triggers hardly had any in EE as well. For anyone wanting to harness the full power of quest vars equivalent grab my trigger pack and view my trigger tutorials. I cover variables and something called "storage" which are equivalent to quest vars but for all data types. You can retrieve from storage to a variable and then use the relaxed or the other trigger variants to then substitute variables for values. (My second video in the advanced trigger series - covers loops, variables, and storage)
Could you make a video on how to make like a green screen for the units? Like that it would be easy to make like emotes and other stuff in the editor that you can easy crop out the unit in the video. I manage to get it to work with a green material but the light of the green ground bounce up to the unit legs and arms so its easy to see that it was cropped out with a green screen because the unit has like a small tint of green light on it.

Heya. Do triggers not work in multiplayer??? I have been making an epic DnD like adventure for my wife and I (following your tutorial series) and I just finished it tonight and when testing it out in multiplayer none of the unit select triggers are working. Can't really find a solid answer online so hoping somone can clue me in here please
Regarding making of triggers I don't understand what you mean by saying it breaks after a few. I have written (and generated) hundreds of triggers increasing the file size several fold and had no problems. I could generate QV versions of all the triggers though I feel like it prob just be bloat and I already got the variables and storage system as a replacement.
Guys,i want my kataskopos to explore the map where i click initially,insted of running to one direction and stop and i choose another direct.for him,how can i make it??? Same for villigers,i want them to make a town center and without i click them when they done doing town c,i want them to aoutomaticly go mine,i forget how to do it,how can u do it?

Yes. There's a way to do it with ingame triggers which isn't entirely accurate. It would need custom triggers. Thinking about how best to implement this.

Dumb question but do custom triggers also need to be downloaded by the players for it to work?

Very interesting videos. Wondering if you know of any way to add actions to units or is this restricted?

Oh nice quite right looks like this has been patched now, I struggled to do it in earlier versions but have tried and got it working just now.

Is it possible to create a system that awards the player 1 gold for every kill?
Yes. There's a way to do it with ingame triggers which isn't entirely accurate. It would need custom triggers. Thinking about how best to implement this.
