Idk but when I listen to this remix I see it from the girl’s perspective where through out the song a glimpse of us she notices how her lover still has pictures of his ex and how his eyes seem empty when he looks at her. Throughout the song she feels destroyed because she truly loved her partner. By then end she confronts him and when he says what she already knows she is broken and ends up leaving. Once La La land plays the girls now feels a sense of clarity and is now free from the constant sadness of being second to a woman he was once with. She begins to put her life together when one day her now ex partner comes to see her, but this time his eyes aren’t happy. And this time he doesn’t look through her or search for something else in her eyes, finally for once, he see her.
