If you really want to understand what Quran says learn Arabic. Don't be fool to argue on the information of what others say. Instead of translations learn Arabic, read Quran originally. See is it divine or not with your own mind. This is a serious matter don't let anyone ruin your afterlife.

He was about to say that it is impossible for somebody today to believe that one of the miracles that happened in the past-like Jesus curing the blind-because they weren't there to see it. That is why the miracle of Prophet Mohammed was the Qu'ran. Mostly because of the linguistic miracles, but also because of the scientific miracles (for us non-arabic speakers). I know your comment is almost a year old, so you might already know this.

The Quran is not a book of science. It is a book that has a very specific message - to accept God not just as a Divine Being but as someone who has direct control and impact over your life, to accept the moral principles that he delivers to you to implement them in your life so that your worldly and other-worldly life are a success. In one word - salvation.

    أَنزَلْنَا ٱلْحَدِيد -- Q. 57:25
    أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًۭا -- Q. 7:26
As you can see, the verb that's translated variously as 'bestowed,' 'sent down,' etc., 'anzalna' (أَنزَلْنَا) is exactly the same in both verses. It doesn't matter what translation you use, what the Arabic text says takes precedence over the interpretations of the translators.

It is a great interpretation and wonderful explanation of using divine intelligence in the expressions"GHAFURUN RAHIM"...AND "RAHIMUN GHAFUR....but , in my opinion, In Iron Chapter could also be an analogy of Earth who receive from God blessing( rain, snow) with a woman womb, that receives a soul sent from UP( from God,like the iron)....So, A baby can be considered a RAHMA ...And....after a life time...When the time comes.... And it's time to go back UP, after life on the Earth that soul need FORGIVENESS ,in order to go in a good place.....So i think GHAFURUL RAHIM is in it's place. The guidance of the AYAH being in this way for human also. Sorry for my English though...I hope i shared my idea, and you got the message. Please correct me if I am wrong, because is the God word interpretation, and it has to be right.....we are God"s creation....We don't create God with wrong ideas(audu billah) Jazak Allah Kheirak Brother Nouman. Could it be that Anzalna in all its meanings is still distinctly different from 'Created', just as our clothes are not 'created' on us, instead it is bestowed as stated above, in the same way maybe Iron is not part of the earth but is bestowed to the earth rather than saying Iron was created

  • @ConsideringPhlebas
    @ConsideringPhlebas 13 лет назад

The stuff about 'iron being sent down' is dubious. The Qur'an uses the same words in Q. 7:26; anzalna 'alaykum libasa,' 'We sent down clothing to you.' Obviously, however, this isn't literal.

There is nothing like him. We can imagine only something which we already experienced. According to Quran God"s essense can"t be described and our limited mind cannot udnerstand unlimited Creator.
But we observe His Greatness in universe and in our creation ... We reflect in that way.. The one who tried give God a look ended by by giving God human characters like other religions did..

@ConsideringPhlebas Yea, man..not everything in science is facts..I think, more than science; the proof of God is just logic. How many people, even complete atheists, when they are completely depressed they call out to God..it's a part of fitrah, or natural being to believe in a Creator, a Higher Power.

N.A Khan deliberately deceives the parameter for a miracle. *No miracle has ever happened in any sporting event.* That is an outrageous insinuation to prepare the gullible for the oncoming propaganda presented in the video.
A miracle in a sporting event
Soccer: _no matter from how far or who kicks the ball in any direction it vanishes only to appear in team Red's net._
100meter sprint: _no matter how slowly a sprinter WALKS while the others sprint, they always appear at the finish line first and video playback show them cheering from a seat while competing._
A *miracle* is an event not explicable by natural or scientific laws. Nothing in the quran fulfills this criteria.

He's not saying there has been miracles he's saying that people use the word miracle lightly... but out of that whole video out of all the crazy facts about the quran the best you could argue is his use of the word miracle cos you gave no evidence to show quran isn't a miracle, considering you couldn't even produce a book like it on a modern computer is say a human in the desert 1400 years ago making this is pretty miraculous lol

Had to comment, Quran is not a science book but the criterion of right and wrong. So it mentions things not to be a scientist but just mentioning things but what is mentioned is not false. Example,Muhammad had no microscopes but Quran mentions the first stages of embryonic development totally accurate.Modern science discovered this like 80 years ago! Now,if you can disprove the Quran embryology I will denounce Islam right now. So bring your proof!

Earlier people believed that moon has its own light
Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies,
And placed therein a lamp (sun)
And a moon which has reflected light.
He has created both sexes, male and female from a drop of semen which has been ejected. (Qur'an, 53:45-46)
Was he not a drop of ejaculated sperm, then a blood-clot which He created and shaped, making from it both sexes, male and female? (Qur'an, 75:37-39)
This cleared the misconception that the mother is responsible for the sex of the child and hence, she was blamed for having a girl.
That the sperm alone determines it
(God is) the one Who created the night, the day, the sun and the moon. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion” (Sura 21: 33).
“ We (Allah) send down water from the sky in measure an lodged it in the ground and we certainly are able to withdraw it “ (Sura 23, 18-19 Verses) the above verses are explaining the complete water cycle i.e., water fall, penetration of water in the soil and evaporation phenomenon.
      any
“ Allah is the one who sends forth the winds which rised up the clouds he spreads them in the sky as he wills and breaks them into the fragments then thou seest raindrops issuing from within them (Sura 30, Verse 48) "
The above verses clarify the processes of evaporation, condensation, fragmentation and rain-cycle.
” We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” Quran 21:30
“Have not the unbelievers ever considered that the skies and the earth were once one mass, then We split them asunder?”noble Quran 21:30
The miracle here is self evident my friend. Quran says that “skies and the earth were once one mass” meaning that they were a SINGLE unit before they were split asunder which is nothing but the BIG BANG
Allah knows what every female bears and every shrinking of the womb and every swelling. Everything has its measure with Him. (Qur'an, 13:8)
At the beginning of the menstrual period, the mucous on the walls of the womb (the endometrium layer) is 0.5 mm thick. Under the effect of hormones secreted by the egg, this layer grows and reaches a thickness of 5-6 mm. This layer is then discarded in the absence of fertilisation. As we see from the above verse, this monthly increase and reduction in the walls of the womb is indicated in the Qur'an.
No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!” (Quran 96:15-16)
So, this area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating good and sinful behavior and is responsible for the telling of lies and the speaking of truth. Thus, it is proper to describe the front of the head as lying and sinful when someone lies or commits a sin, as the Quran has said, “...A lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!”
Scientists have only discovered these functions of the prefrontal area in the last sixty years, according to Professor Keith L. Moore.[3]
: THE SEQUENCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN ORGANS
It is He Who has created hearing, sight and minds for you. What little thanks you show! (Qur'an, 23:78)
Allah brought you out of your mothers' wombs knowing nothing at all, and gave you hearing, sight and minds so that perhaps you would show thanks. (Qur'an, 16:78)
Say: "What do you think? If Allah took away your hearing and your sight and sealed up your hearts, what god is there, other than Allah, who could give them back to you?"… (Qur'an, 6:46)
We created man from a mingled drop to test him, andWe made him hearing and seeing. (Qur'an, 76:2)

The information only recently obtained about the formation of the baby’s organs inside the mother’s womb is in complete agreement with that revealed in the Qur’an.
The above verses refer to a number of senses given to human beings by Allah. These are always referred in a specific order in the Qur'an: hearing, sight, feeling and understanding.
In a paper published in the Journal of the Islamic Medical Association, Dr. Keith Moore states that during the development of the foetus, the eye begins to form after the inner ear has assumed its first form. He says the brain, the centre of feeling and understanding, begins its development after the ear and the eye.

the embryology seems fairly inmacurate to me which is odd seeming as it comes from a being who is supposed to create every human. for example the Quran states several times that the embryo develops from sperm (something easy to deduce as sex leads to babies) however the egg which is Just as important is never mentioned - and surely a being who had created every would talk about the egg as frequently as the sperm. secondly in my translation of the quran it is stated that the sperm develops into a blood clot (i know there are some other translations and dont understand why) but this is completely false as the fused egg and sperm in te beginning divide and divide as stem sells and then differentiate, but at no point could they be compared to a blood clot. finally the Qur'an states that the bones were made and the flesh clothed them (thus the flesh came afterwards, as clothes do). this is far from the truth as the two develop at the same time and the bones finish developing last of all (so this statement bends more towards fiction than fact in my opinion). I would be interested to know if you have a different interpretation of this verse

its funny how you claim to know your scientif evidence so well enough to infirm the statements of the Joly Quran with regards to embryology. You are probably not aware that the man who made. the research about modern embryology himself found that there is no contradiction between his results and the verses of the Holy Quran and here you arguing against the Quran.

I think science doesn't prove God, it just makes it hard to be an atheist. By the way, Muslims try to say the surah/chapter in the Quran called "Al Alaqa" means "The Leech", or the "Clinging Leech like substance" instead of what MY Quran has it and so many other Qurans have it as "The Clot". I'd like a Muslim to point me to an old Quran in English that has it as "Clinging leech like substance" BEFORE we knew that embryos are NEVER "clots of congealed blood". WHERE is that old Quran that has it, in English or ANY language as "clinging leech like substance"? WHERE is that old Quran that has the surah as "The Leech" instead of "The Clot"? Also, where is the old Quran in English, or, another language that has it as "The earth is shaped like an ostrich egg" instead of saying, "The earth is spread out flat like a carpet"? I'm waiting for a Quran that has it right, "The earth rotates and his shaped like the moon" and "embryos are balls of dividing cells without blood IN them"". But, where is that old, ancient Quran?

How long has "Alaq" MEANT "hanging". If it's ALWAYS been that, how come the Quran says, "...who created mankind from a clot of blood" instead "...who created mankind from a hanging"? Also, how come in the hadith it has it as "then it (embryo) becomes blood for forty days, then, in another forty days, it becomes a blood clot. Then, in another forty days, it becomes a lump of flesh, then...."? Shouldn't it be, "then it (embryo) becomes a hanging. Then, in another forty days, it becomes a hanging. Then, in another forty days, it becomes a lump of flesh"?

    • @Nallanyesmar

What are some of the things you find in the Quran that you believe are astonishing? By the way, for the hadiths that say we, as embryos are blood for forty days, blood clots for a similar period of time, lump of flesh for forty days as well before Allah sends an angel with instructions on whether or not we will be of Paradise or the damned, go to the Sunni Muslim website called "sunnah.com", and type into its web browser" clot of blood for forty days", and, it should let you see all the hadiths that have embryos as blood clots for, well, that amount of time.

Sounds like you believe we, as embryos, AREN'T blood clots for forty days, just "small things". Well, yeah, embryos start out small, alright. Of course, to Muhammad, he thought we were blood for forty days, and, blood clots for another forty days, then a lump of flesh for another forty days....IF you want to believe the sahih (authentic) hadiths that have him saying that, that is.

Absolutely not and that is what I meant when I said "prove it". What is your problem and critics on this lecture? You have just being "barking at the sun" (no offence) so far without actually stating your problem. Be honest with urself

Islam cannot be from God because it is based upon the Qur'an which has internal contradictions. Any revelation from God will be consistent within itself. It will not contain internal contradictions. Since the Qur'an does contain internal contradictions, it cannot be from God, and any religion that is based upon it is not from God.
The Qur'an says that man was created from a clot of blood.
    Qur'an 96:1. Proclaim (or Read) In the Name Of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created- 2. Created man out of A (mere) clot Of congealed blood;
The Qur'an says that man was created from was created from clay.
Qur'an 6:2 (Also 7:12) 2. He it is Who created You from clay, and then Decreed a stated term (For you). And there is In His Presence another Determined term; yet Ye doubt within yourselves!
The Qur'an says that man was created from was created from water.
Qur'an 25:54. It is He Who has Created man from water: Then has He established Relationships of lineage And marriage: for thy Lord Has power (over all things).
These are internal contradictions that indicate the origin of the Qur'an was not the mind of God, but the mind of man, Muhammad.

Dear, you're randomly comparing and overthinking without having the knowledge. The verses you mentioned are different stages of creation. If you just know Keith Moore then you might change your mind. Make some more research instead of running away and convincing yourself easily.. open your heart and mind then start some research

When Adam is mentioned he is made up of clay and when his off-springs(humans after adam and eve) are mentioned a clot of blood is used, all living organisms dont share the same material expect cells especially cytoplasm which is made up of water. If u follow the theme or context of verse then you will better understand it, may God bless you.

Nouman Ali Khan - a wasted life.

I'm sorry, sir, but Nouman Ali Khan through the power of God has taught me many good morals and positively influenced my attitude and behaviour. Among many other things, he teaches to never look down on another human because we do not know what's going on in their hearts. They could have committed a single act of kindness one day that made them a friend of God and If we insult a friend of God, naturally we become his enemy.
In fact, as it stands right now, NAK has taught me more than you, a complete stranger, has. So to me, doesn't that make your life more wasted than NAK's? But I'm not in any position to say that your life has been a waste because I'm sure you've committed at least one good act from the bottom of your heart with full sincerity, and if that makes you a friend of God, then surely your life could not possibly be a waste.

Walao Muacks Nouman Ali Khan has certainly helped me: I will strive not to use the word "verse" in reference to the Blessed Qur'an. I never realized how confining the word was...
