The playlist I have this song on has been with me for more than four years, sporting a little over 500 songs of mostly electronic music. This track however has the peculiar characteristic of bringing a smile to my face and a hum to my lips every time it comes on through the shuffle.

WRLD is incredible in the sense that he has made has had a melody that captivated me in some way in EVERY song he has made. This man is just so consistent in making melodies that I could appreciate and get into. The melodies in Triumph and Orbit deserve special mention; they are just so upbeat, colorful, and vibrant, but imposing in a harmonious way. I also loved See You's harmonious chord progression and it's energetic and poppy drops. He just caries his signature vibrancy in You & Me, and upbeat flow in Chase It, both of which were great. There's as something each of WRLD's melodies I liked.
Now, this song is no different. The drop, again has that same energy and vibrancy and I was drawn into it immediately. HOWEVER, I wasn't as keen on the builds and vocal sections. WRLD's instrumentation and mixing has always been great in his non-drop sections. I think, this time, he relied too much on the vocal melody to carry the buildup. Not to say the vocal melody is bad, but it didn't have the same imposingness and wasn't as OPEN in the vocal chords as in the Champions remix and See You to result in a fully developed and harmonious section. The vocal melody just felt a bit flat and lifeless in comparison, although I have nothing to complain about in regard to the vocals themselves. That's what kind of dragged the track down for me. Still a good song, but can use some improvements in the vocal melody.
