I just bought the same Special Edition Antique Burst. It sounds amazing for a guitar that size and I love the look. The electronics are less than amazing. The tuner is so quirky I have to grab the clip on sometimes. The pickup is decent, it's takes awhile to dial in the right sound. I do find myself grabbing to play more often than my full size guitars. It has a comfortable feel.
Thanks for the review it was great and I appreciate the quality and concern you put into it. I wish people would stop whining about things that annoy them when they’re the actual buzz killers.
I own it, but my maton diesel mini is by far a better instrument to me :) would highly recommend trying that out before pulling the trigger on this one.
My question though is how much did you pay for the Maton? From what I’ve seen the price difference between the Maton and the Taylor is quite large. So can we agree from a value standpoint the Taylor is probably the better option for most players? Just a thought. Thanks for your feedback!
@@Sick_Strings01 I agree with what you’re saying here. Maton’s are great instruments but they typically start at $2k and go up from there. The Taylor is unbeatable in the mini class.
@@Sick_Strings01 I bought mine used for fb marketplace in Australia for 1100 Australian dollars including shipping all the way to Norway where I live :) buying it new, locally at retail is off course double (or even more) the price.
Stopped watching after about a minute once I realized that text was going to keep flashing across the screen for whatever reason. Seriously annoying on the eyes.
@@Sick_Strings01 That's why YT has the CC option, for ppl who want to watch with no sound There are some VERY popular channels on YT, I can not think of anyone who does this. I felt like I was at a disco with all that neon flashing. It's your video, do what you want.

I haven’t plugged it in yet but that’s good to know. I agree, the tuner can be especially quirky with the low E string. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the kind words. I just review these guitars as honestly as possible. Stay tuned for more content and subscribe!
I absolutely love my current GS Mini E Mahogany, however this finish is absolutely beautiful 😍 I wish I could own another too ugh
I totally agree!
The top looks like the 50th Anniversary version but the tuners and electronics don’t.
What Special Edition is this?
Here’s a link to Taylor’s website detailing the guitar. www.taylorguitars.com/guitars/acoustic/50th-anniversary-217e-sb-plus-ltd
Waiting for delivery of my new GS mini Anniversary limited edition. Big big Taylor fan
You won’t regret that purchase!
@@Sick_Strings01 even more excited about the 50th PS24ce ltd and amp combo I just ordered as well.
Hi, is it possible to put strings to tune in Nashville tune ?
@@doume116 take a look right here. The people at Sweetwater did exactly that! ruclips.net/video/PdU0ViBlw2M/видео.htmlsi=qb9dqiph2FSxjwPa

@woog74 there are people that watch videos with no sound on so that’s the reason for it. Thank you for the feedback.

I liked the video but yeah I agree the text is annoying. Please put it at the bottom maybe next time.
