Hello, dear Markét, thanks for all these phrasal verbs🙂 I would like to get away for some days and spend some time in the nature. We' ll just hop on our car to approach our destination and for getting around easily. We'll make some trips on foot and look around a castle ruin. I'm looking forward to your next lesson:-) Jana
Hi there, dear Jana, thanks for stopping by and learning phrasal verbs with me! 😘 May I have a few suggestions to make your English text even better? 😁 I would like to get away for a few days... - If you wanted to write "na několik dní / na pár dní", then "a few days" sounds more natural. We'll just hop in our car to get closer to our destination and to get around easily. - You hop ON a bus but IN a car. If you hoped on a car, you would end up on the roof of your car. 😅 We'll take a few trips on foot... - You don't make trips, you take them. You can also say: We'll go for a few walks. Hope that helps! Have a fantastic weekend, Markét ☺
Dear Miss Teacher Markét,thanks a lot for new lesson! I would like to say(if You do not mind) - todays economic situation freak me out and I need to take a chill pill.(new phrase verb and slang for me). Is it correct, please? Thank You so much again and have a nice time!
Hi there, dear Honza, thanks for stopping by. 😉🤩 If you need to take a chill pill, you need to calm down. I'd say you used the phrase correctly. 😉 Take care, Markét. 🙏
