    Doctor sir please try to answer my simple doubt if u don't mind 🙏
    As we all know its normal to loose upto 50 hairs a day. It may be on our pillows while wakeup or when we ran fingers over the scalp or while we applying oil etc etc. Does it happen in back side hairs also what i mean to say is the hairs from my backside back to ears that portion if hair loose from that portion is normal can it be considered as normal hair loss will it grow back. Or do i need to take any medications for backside hair fall

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  2 года назад

      Hi NiljaNilja Nel,
      You don't lose 50 hairs a day, you shed 50-100 hairs a day, and they do grow back. Hair shedding happens to all scalp hair, regardless of location. Pattern hair loss happens when the shed hair grows back thinner, and there is a delay in regrowth, but hair at the lower back of the head, and at the sides are genetically resistant to hair thinning. I hope this clarifies things for you.

    Hi Doctor, I received botox under my eyes 5 days ago. I should have done the proper research and wish I saw your video beforehand. 5 days after botox and I have terrible bags that I did not even have before. The botox was mainly for my crows feet and under eye wrinkles. The injector injected right underneath my lower eyelids. What can I do? Will the bags possibly reduce after 2 to 3 weeks? Thanks so much in advance

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  2 года назад +1

      Hi El Love,
      Sorry to hear about your problem. Botox should not cause eye bags as it's injected into muscles to reduce their activity, and the peak effects of Botox need two weeks to be seen. The results shown in the video is from reducing the activity of the orbicularis oculi muscle behind the lower eyelid. Your bags may be due to temporary swelling from the needle, but not the neurotoxin itself. You can follow up with your doctor who performed the injection to determine the exact cause of your current condition. I hope this clarifies things for you.

    Hi Doctor, I have under eye 'bulges' that are very prominent when I smile (similar to those shown here but with more significant shadowing) & in some light when resting naturally look as though I have lost significant definition in my tear troughs. I have approached a few cosmetic clinics & I have had one recommend to use 20 units of botox under my eyes to release that muscle (however I have heard using high amounts can lead to double vision, the lower eyelid drooping & other issues) where another clinic mentioned this method isn't approved & wish to treat it only with a tear trough filler. Would you recommend one over the other or is a combination of the two possible? (For example a lower amount of botox under the eyes to slightly reduce the pull of that muscle and to use filler to make up for the further definition loss under my eyes?). I am hoping for a solution with low risks if possible. Thankyou!

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  Год назад

      Hi BlueSilk22,
      If the bulge only appears with facial movement, I would normally recommend only Botox. However, since I have not examined your issue in consultation, this is not a definitive recommendation, and I would have to examine you for a proper second opinion. I hope this helps you.

I know that at the beginning there was some difference while I was healing but looking at prior pictures it was somewhat normal for years. You do need to keep managing your hair loss, as it's not a condition that can be cured or completely stopped. You can keep taking finasteride to slow progressive hair thinning, and PRP treatments can help if you can't access our injection treatment that doesn't require as many treatment sessions. Hi The Quest,
      Dermatologists who do all they can to prevent and treat skin cancer do laser treatments regularly, so laser treatment is not linked to skin cancer. If you are worried about cancer, as well as other fatal diseases like emphysema and heart disease, you should quit smoking for good.
      As for permanence, it's important to remember that cosmetic treatments don't stop the skin from aging, and don't stop future acne, so to expect permanent results is unrealistic. I hope this clarifies things for you.

      Hi Yesara Madubasini,
      Thank you for watching! I don’t administer PRP alone for hair loss because it has a limited effect on hair, usually just short-term hair growth. Also, the number of sessions needed does vary, and the longevity of results is unpredictable. TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration is a PRP combination treatment where PRP is the activator of the main ingredient extracellular matrix by ACell. TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration is a one-time treatment for most patients, and can last up to 5 years and beyond, depending on the aggressiveness of the hair loss pattern. You don't need repeat injections periodically, and many older TrichoStem™Hair Regeneration patients don’t use maintenance drugs like finasteride, but finasteride is a must for our younger male patients with very early and aggressive hair loss due to high DHT-sensitivity as TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration is not a DHT-blocker. PRP injections for hair loss are needed indefinitely. Some TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration patients with advanced hair loss get a second treatment 15-24 months after the first which we call the booster, but this is already included in the cost of the treatment plan, so you don’t pay extra for it. TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration patients can stop using minoxidil completely, or be weaned off it to prevent a sudden hair shed. You can refer to these videos about the differences between TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration from PRP alone:

    Hi Doctor, I understand there’s the muscle “love band”, but when I smile, one eye have and eye bag under the love band, so it looks like I have double eye bags (only when I smile). I believe it’s herniated fat only when I smile, the contraction of muscles pushes out the fat which appears to be an eye bag. It goes back when I don’t smile or squint. I think one commenter have the same issue as I do, but his/hers is not separated by a ridge under the love band, so it appears as one large eye bag on one when he/she smile/squint, where as mine appears under the love band separated by a ridge, so it’s shown as “double” eye bag on one eye.

      Hi Linda Nguyen,
      The cause of the bag when smiling is the contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscle, so a neurotoxin like Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, or Xeomin is needed to reduce muscle activity.
      This puffiness when smiling is called a "love band" in some Asian cultures, and it is sought after, so it's not really something that needs to be "fixed". I hope this clarifies things for you.

      Hi@@chayamadhu8043,
      I haven't diagnosed the cause of your eye bags. You can refer to this video on the best treatment for eye bags caused by prolapsed orbital fat - ruclips.net/video/46Kp6ayfyzg/видео.html
      I'm not familiar with surgeons in Bangalore, but if you need surgery, I suggest you ask for transconjunctival blepharoplasty by name, which involves no external incision in the lower eyelid for visible scarring and potential damage to lower eyelid support structures; and insist on no lower eyelid skin removal to treat wrinkles, as this can cause skin shortage that will pull down the lower eyelids. Under eye wrinkles can be treated non-surgically to improve skin quality.

      Hi Adnan Ghaffar,
      Sorry to hear about your problem, but I would have to examine your face before recommending treatment, especially since you are a little young for significant age-related volume loss in the face. You can refer to these videos about treating hollow cheeks, and hollowness under the eyes:

      Hi@@adnankiani2315,
      I hope you understand that I can't recommend treatment based on a picture alone as it cannot replace a proper physical evaluation and diagnosis. Also, I would have to be your doctor to recommend a specific treatment, and me looking at a picture does not make me your doctor. You can send your pictures through prasadcosmeticsurgery.com/virtual-consultation/ or eyelifts.com/virtual-consultation/ or puffyeyes.com/virtual-consultation/ for a preliminary review. Please note that this is not a formal consultation, but a preliminary evaluation.

      Hi Jacob Johnston,
      Puffiness under the eyes that are due to the muscle, or always visible due to prolapsed orbital fat can be treated. An examination would be needed to see what approach can best help you.

      Hi @blakeavila2295,
      Results of treatment for this issue is quite subtle, so you do have to consider how pronounced it is, and how treatment will only give a little improvement.
      Eye position, eyelid height, and other factors of eye and eyelid asymmetry are due to bone structure (two halves of the skull forming separately), so there will always be little differences between the two eyes, but everyone has a certain degree of facial asymmetry, so most of it goes unnoticed by others. I hope this clarifies things for you.

      Sorry to hear about your problem, @sumi5335. If it bothers you this much, you can consider treatment. Keep in mind the treatment featured in the video is temporary, as the effects of Botox last 4-6 months, but once it has taken effect, you are stuck with the effects until it wears off 4-6 months later.

    I have this but only in one eye💀

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD

      Hi Yang Seungbae,
      It is possible to only have it under only one eye. While this can be treated as shown in the video, some Asian cultures value this aesthetic which they call the "Love Band", so you can also consider not having it treated. I hope this helps you.

      @@AmiyaPrasadMD thank you for the answer🙏🏻 I actually like this but I wish I had it in both eyes. Do you think it's possible to make the other eye have an under bag as well?

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  2 года назад

      Hi,@@timidity ,
      While this is not a procedure practiced widely in the US, in countries where the love band is sought after may use a cosmetic filler to replicate the look. Keep in mind that if a filler is used, it may be visible all the time, and not just when smiling. I hope this clarifies things for you.
