Don’t ever feel that you have to apologize for using an incorrect word. You guys are doing an amazing job. We are fortunate that you speak English in your videos since so few of us can fluently speak languages other than English 🙏🏼 You guys are amazing!!!
That was so very kind of David to come there and help you with so many things. Praise God for wonderful people like him, so kind & generous. I am sure that you made a lifetime friendship. Not many people like that in the world today. May God bless him & his family abundantly.
And may God continue to bless y’all and keep you in His loving care 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Don’t overdo it so soon after being ill, Luca. I must say your ability to just get back to doing this new thing: plumbing, welding etc is so admirable Luca. You inspire me to do some home repairs I have been afraid to attempt. I am so glad that David didn’t get sick. What a wonderful thing he did- coming out to help in every way to get you through this first olive harvest and home Reno. He and his wife Julia are going to be lifelong friends I think. Glad to see all of you are feeling recovered. Also what a sweetie you mom is, coming to lend her support too.

A name suggestion from me is Filomena. Filomena is a form of the Greek female given name Philomena. It means "friend of strength" (φίλος : phílos "friend, lover" and μένος : ménos "mind, purpose, strength, courage") or "loved one" (φιλουμένη : philouménē meaning "loved"). Filomena is the name of one of the storytellers in the frame story of The Decameron. Not Italian, but has a good story for me and nice meaning behind it. ❤

Your English is better than many for whom it is their first language. No need to apologize. I could never begin to speak the equivalent of what you speak in English if I tried to speak Italian. Mistakes in learning a new skill are part of the process. What you two do is keep moving. Such dedication and resilience. What a great example for Luce. Your commitment to all you do is inspiring. Brava and bravo.

Salus, the Roman mythological goddess of security, prosperity and well-being is the woman in the tree. No? Maybe a name for your olive oil with a drawing of her on the label. It was sad to see David go, what a kind soul. Luce is such a love. Thank you for sharing her growing moments with us! ❤

You are such an amazing hard working couple …. What you have achieved is really fantastic …. Especially since you did your first Olive harvest while renovating your beautiful historic home … I for one think your choice of copper pipes is so original for your home … so well done with that choice. 👏👏
You are both mastering the English language at such an impressive rate that is evident in the fact that you have a great following of English speaking viewers …. So there is absolutely NO NEED to apologise for being bilingual !
Your Mom is such a wonderful help… a blessing for sure !
That view from your Olive grove is breathtakingly beautiful … thank you so much for sharing that tranquil beauty !!!
Thank you David … your kindness speaks volumes of the man you are.
Take care of yourselves health wise ….😊

There is absolutely no need to apologize for your use of English. No one, and I mean no one should judge you for that. In fact, in reality you are not obligated in any way to make your videos in English. people should remember that and respect your efforts.
You are both amazing and I’m thankful to have found you. You keep me motivated to find my higher purpose.

Ciao Amici, I would just like to say God bless David for taking so much of his time to help your family. He is definitely a true English gentleman. It’s so wonderful to know that there are such kind people out there who are willing to help a young family such as yours. As far as naming the oil, I think you should name it after your last name (surname) or Luce’s Olive Oil. I know in Italy our names are important. We name our children after our mother and fathers. I’m named after my grandmother Maria on my fathers side. I’m glad you all are feeling better. Can’t wait to see you next week. Ciao ancora Maria

David touched my heart with his generosity and kindness. And while I’m so sorry you were all sick, thankfully it didn’t happen while David was there and you all appear to have recovered. I hardly think you need to apologize for your English. It’s wonderful. I think it’s safe to say that the majority of us Americans who follow you, couldn’t even begin to express ourselves in Italian. You are such beautiful people and such hard workers and as always, precious Lucha brings such joy. Walking that dog is hysterical. I look forward to Sundays just so I can see your updates.

Every Sunday we return to our favorite Italia with your family and with Nicki and Carlo. This morning you asked about names for your extra virgin olive oil. How about "Nuova Vita" or 'new life' in Italian. Seems appropriate after all your challenges and recoveries over the past few years. You also help to give new life to your new home town in Sicily, even to your choice to reuse charming vintage furniture. We look forward to seeing the progress of your amazing home. The black, shiny critter that you found in the olive grove, is a slug. A snail has a shell. Both are harmless, but quite destructive in a veggie patch. 🐌 Not sure about olive trees. 😅 Lucia is the most adorable little girl and such a ray of sunshine. She is uber cute! I’m very sorry that David has returned home, but I’m sure he’ll be back next year to see the progress and help with the olives. Such a nice, friendly peep!

When you asked for name inspiration ideas you said it’s your rebirth year. I think you answered your own question. “Rebirth” of not just all of you but this 1000 year old olive grove left on its own for years. Now it’s fruits can fulfill their purpose and nourish again with all your efforts. I so love watching your family evolve! God bless all of you and and David and all your volunteers. Sending all of you lots of love!! 🫶🏽🙏🏽💞🤗 Also forgot to tell you, a few days ago I was talking to friends and I said “love always wins” then I remembered I know how to say it in Italian from watching your videos so I said it in Italian too. They were all impressed. 😂 We need “love always wins” merchandise too! 🫶🏽

What an amazing year you have have, individually and as a family. It is a joy to follow you, especially during this year of 'rebirth' and renewing.
You often use the word 'rebirth' and when thinking about names for your Olive Grove/Oil the word RENASCENCE/Renaissance (alternative spellings) keeps coming to me. It means 'the revival of something that has been dormant' and that seems to describe your olive grove and even your village house. Whatever name you eventually choose, I am sure it will be something that fits you all and your properties well.

What a lovely community you’ve created, both there in Italy and on RUclips. David, how lovely for you to help them and be part of that. We found your channel through Carlo & Nicki so that’s part of your wonderful community as well. My husband (of 47 years) look forward to your videos every week, and my husband lights up every time he sees Your daughter. What a delight it’s been to watch your journey with her. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. Take good care of each other.

Folks who speak Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese and English have no need to apologize for minute deficiencies in a non-native tongue. Most of us in America wouldn’t dare try to match our language skills against your family’s abilities. You folks are very humble. Most English speaking viewers like you and try to help with little corrections. Please don’t ever be offended. We are all teachers and all of our suggestions come from a spirit of friendship.

I feel so blessed have the opportunity to witness your journey. Thank you for sharing it. David's gift of time and effort was absolutely a love offering from one human being to another when he saw need. Rest assured that he received as much as you did. What a blessing for all of you. Family is not always blood. Hopefully he didn't get sick on his arrival home. As far as language goes - don't worry so much about it. I only speak English but other's who speak only English speak improperly too. We're human , not one of us is perfect. I'm glad you are feeling better.

Oh, I was so sad to see David leave. Not only is he a lovely man, but it was so nice to see all the help he provided and an excellent helper to Luca especially.
I’m so sorry to hear you were sick, but glad to see you’ve recovered.
The pipes are looking awesome Luca!!
Please don’t apologize for your English. You both speak it so well! We know what you mean. 😊
Luce is such a ray of sunshine and I love seeing her grow every week. She is so adorable and funny.
Love to you all from Mary in Southern California 💗🤗

Never apologize when you can speak more than one language. Your English is beautiful. We in America make mistakes with our mother tongue. So wonderful that your little girl will grow up knowing two languages. I predict she will learn many more. She is so smart and sweet.❤

Thank you for sharing this amazing journey with everyone! A suggestion for your brand name "La Bella Luce" in honor of your beautiful daughter! I don't speak Italian, but I also understand this can mean "the beautiful light" which would be perfect since she is also the light of your families life. All the best to your each of you!

"ANGELICA BAMBINO" Angelica for the Angel face in the tree and Bambino for your beautiful daughter and any future Bambinos, also for the beginning of life for the olive oil, the bambino olives that grow and mature on the trees on your beautiful property by the ocean which is the beginning of the land on which you live, grow, work and prosper together as a family and extended family.

So glad to see you are all doing well now. I too felt sad to see David leave although we knew it has to happen. Thanks David! The double pane windows and copper pipes look great. What a great way to keep the nets clean, safe and ready for the next job. Please mail some Olive oil to David so he can enjoy with his dear wife. Another great video with Luce showing the smashing the thumbs up. Be well guys.

Please do not apologize for maybe using the wrong words, if everyone in this world spoke two or more languages, it would be a much better world. You both do so well, filming while working and taking care of Luce is no small feat, so no more apologizing.

Because you are such beautiful people, people like David were happy to help. What an amazing chap. Well done David and safe trip home 👍
It really is a picturesque village, if only more people could do this but it takes a special family to move into a 1000 year old home and repair it. The village and its people are lucky to have the 3 of you. Gorgeous little girl too Btw 💖

What a difference to the land from when you first bought it and shared with us to your finishing the olive picking season. Love the old tree stumps!
Happy that you had a good olive oil season and wish you the best for the future harvests.
Why not use your initials to name the olive oil company or the land? "LSL"
I like seeing the copper piping inside your kitchen. Here in the US, many modern styles include pipes that are outside of the walls.

You are really good at speaking English. Maybe you can get put a 90 deg angle piece in between the thermostat and the connection. That would make it come out from the wall 😊
