Percussion & Pizza 2023 snapshot

The Port Augusta Percussion & Pizza kids put down their instruments and joined Samantha Lee Legend in the Umeewarra radio studio to have a chat about the program. Have a listen and a look at some of the great images of our project.
The sessions are run by local music teacher John Sharp and take place in Gladstone Square every Wednesday afternoon from 3.30pm - 5pm. If the weather is rough then we head into the Yarta Purtli Gallery space or Umeewarra Media - 5 Jervois Street.
The sessions are presented by Umeewarra Media with the support by Uniting Country SA and at the end of every session Domino's generously brings free pizza to all the participants at the classes at the end of each weekly session.
