they are one of the most important artist in kpop from being self-produced, to talking about self-confidence, and female empowerment. i’m very disappointed zach clearly skipped his research this time.
It really sucks because as a Blink I want so badly for groups to have a similar interview style as Blackpink or even Stray Kids. I was disappointed in his SB19 interview, confusing names and seeming just overall VERY disinterested. I wonder if at a certain point he just stopped caring :\
revisiting this a month later. it's so interesting that his interest stopped around the same time the algorithm changed and the views stopped pouring in.
Brother did not do his homework with this one. He sounds way top serious in this video, and seems to be more interested in asking questions rather than responding to answers and creating a comfortable mood.
i'm so proud of (g)i-dle and i love this new EP that i was so excited when i heard they're coming here. i waited for the ep on spotify but imagine my confusion and disappointment when the energy was so much lower than i expected. although the girls did a great job trying to lighten up the mood and trying not to make it 100% awkward, it's not effective when the other party doesn't look like they're in the right state to show the same enthusiasm. i hope we get a second interview with this group, with zach in his usual enthusiastic self.
So everyone did feel the awkward atmosphere huh. Imagine how the girls would have felt when we are feeling this much uncomfortable just through a screen. I was really excited about this interview and pretty sure the girls were too but it's so sad to acknowledge that this might actually be their worst U.S interview so far. It's even more disappointing cuz we all know that Zach usually is a good and friendly host who's much more capable than this but he just completely under-performed this time. I think it was basic manners as a host to have done a little research about them prior to the interview and OF COURSE have checked out "I DO"(Soyeon's expression at 12:13🥲). We, as fans are very disappointed with this interview so, hope he does another interview with (G)I-DLE cuz they deserve SOO much more than this 💯 Girls, u did great and we love the "Heat" album so much! Neverlands always with you!💜 FIGHTING!
Agreed! Like we all know how nice Zach was with other guest but this time is so different. Zach just make me dont like him anymore. As a fan of this show I really disappointed (not fan anymore i guess)
(G)I-DLE is one of the most diverse groups out there. Their Korean work is self-written, self-produced, and have some of the best comeback concepts out there, such as HWAA, Oh My God, Hann, Tomboy.. Please have them back with more time.
This is by far the WORST interview the girls had. He looked completely uninterested, asking bland questions, it felt rushed and forced, like he's done just because he was obligated to it
I am so disgusted by the way he asked questions to the girls.. Short and seems uninterested. While (G)I-dle actively and cheerfully answers all his bland questions.

I love the way Yugi and Minnie, talk for the group. Too bad Zach doesn’t know how to try and interact with all of them. Girls you dont need this unprofessional show. You guys already Queens. We always proud of you, keep it up and show the world your power! We always love you❤
These women are legendary, one in a million especially in the KPOP industry that is so heavily monitored and controlled. Moreover, so many young men and especially women are looking up to (G)I-DLE calling them their role models, in an industry where women never had the opportunity to write their own music and create their own craft because of prejudice and a controlled environment, Soyeon especially has broken down so many walls and shattered glass ceilings that opens eyes to unseen talent. So many other artists have called (G)I-DLE a group of inspiring women, Purple Kiss, Weeekly and Stayc just to name a few have all said how they want to pick up songwriting and producing because they have seen the magic that the (G)irls have created. (G)I-DLE is an excellent example of an industry-defining group, a group we may never see again until a long long time. (G)I-DLE make magic and they are clearly proud of every track they produce it is seen in their performances, and their ability to plan an album/ep or even an entire era like Soyeon has done. These women are so creative and powerful that they often get called snobbish and arrogant for just being proud. (G)I-DLE have stated that they are a group for everyone, they have fans across all age brackets and little girls are looking up to them and aspiring to be like them, confident, brave and self-assured even if the event of failure and rejection may come along. Honestly, there were so many selling points about (G)I-DLE you could have used in this interview to talk about so many and I have just barely touched the surface, if you did a little research, especially for your audience they could have seen that there is much more to them than just having good pop songs. It is a little disappointing how people constantly call (G)I-DLE an underrated, game-changing, industry-changing group, especially in a country like South Korea, making back-to-back anthems about empowerment and self-confidence. Then there is no talk about it when the absolute perfect opportunity arises? Yes, it is great to hear about their production but there was barely any of that, there was no research on anything personal about (G)I-DLE. Heck, you didn't even watch the music videos? Based on other comments you are a great interviewer and a great interviewer shouldn't pick and choose when to be great especially when gold comes into your hands. GOLD.
I don't usually make comments on YT but i feel like i have too.. No wonder it's only 14mins, I've watched other interviews you did with kpop idols, felt unfair tbh I've been a fan of them ever since debut. I'm proud of how incredibly unique, talented and hardworking they are. It shows.. where they are right now. They deserve better.
I was looking forward for this interview since you guys announced it, but left so sad and disappointed, and way worse cause I know Zach is always so welcoming and ask great questions. My girls did such a good job as always❤❤
This feels so off. Like I know for a fact Zach usually researches and creates a comfortable environment for the people he is interviewing. I don't know if this happened last minute or what but I feel like more effort was needed for this interview. G-idle gave really good answers and tried their best to make it less awkward. I hope at least that Zach is okay because he does seem tired.
Zach kept asking like "what was it about?" and really had no idea about their songs. (I Do and Queencard) And this part of the interview Minnie: Have you seen the music video? Zach: I have to really watch it. Damn! So embarrassing for the interviewer, not seeing their "art" or "craft" in advance just to have an idea of the music they make.
actually so disappointed considering zach is one of the few radio interviewers who asks deep and thought provoking questions to his guests, but he completely missed the mark this time. (g)i-dle is such a gem of a group. you could’ve asked the foreign line about adjusting to a new country, about competing on queendom as a rookie group, the whole production process, their willingness to stand against patriarchy, or their overall success in korea despite not coming from a large agency. what a missed opportunity.
Sad to see this interview didn’t turn out well. Soyeons one of the most talented people in kpop right now and I wish she was recognized by it more. Gidle is amazing and I hope they get keep getting more recognition
Every single other radio interview they did was better than this. These girls could speak enthusiastically to a brick wall and yet something is just so off. Disappointed cuz we were all really excited to see idle was gonna be on here🙃
I'm so sorry but I have never seen Zach seem so disinterested/tired/not smiling before. Did something happen? Because I really love the girls, consider myself a fan and I was super excited when I saw this on my notifications... But I'm rather sad, because not even their friendliness could save the mood. Either way I'm glad they went there; I'm very proud and happy for them. Ps. Zach was very kind as always and yes, at the end he did smile and showed them appreciation. But still, something was off; I hope whatever happened or if it was just a bad day, that it got better.
I totally agree. I saw that this podcast was coming out and got really excited, since Zach's interviews are generally really entertaining and enjoyable - with a good amount of depth that he is able to bring out with very insightful questions. Even though there is generally a bit of a language barrier with K-pop groups, I have seen the other podcasts he has done with other groups and it never really seems to matter. I was a bit disappointed, since something seemed way off. It felt like the questions Zach was asking were very curt and completely lacked any of the enthusiasm that I usually love seeing. I don't know. It was still fun seeing the girls in this context and it really seemed like they were trying to enjoy themselves as well, and the thoughts Soyeon shared about her producing process were really interesting to hear. It was unfortunate because the interview just fell a bit flat and felt like a missed opportunity to present (G)i-dle in a different, deeper and more dynamic way. No hate to Zach at all, as I said, I really enjoy his podcasts and really think he is one of the best interviewers out there at the moment - which is the only reason I was a bit confused after watching this.
I don't think he's disinterested, I think he's focused on his questions. Remember they are not English and while two members may speak English he still has to be sensitive to body language and intonation.
I thought i was the only one who felt that, not familiar with Zach so i thought maybe that's how he is with everyone. Maybe he is tired. As a person who has seen how lively these girls can get in interviews and why i enjoy watching them, this might be the first time i felt some low energy watching. But I'm happy they where here, no big deal. Great job to Zach aswell.
You're Right! There was a part of the interview where Zach was not that excited, and I thought he was gonna ask about the process of choosing the songs, with those writers and producers, because there are Big names there, I mean, I was expecting Meghan and his brother's name here in the talk, the genres, and ask questions to each members, or their plans in the future, the solos they've been putting out, etc 😢. He usually does it, but i don't know what happened this times.
He even talked sweetly with SKZ, but with IDLE, he talked like he got into an argument with his mom or wife???? That's really disappointing to see!!!!! I hope you'll learn how to respect every single artists even if u don't know them!!!!!!
And he praised Ateez for being successfull group that doesn't come from the big3. But he didn't say nothing to the girls when they're also very successful! You can notice that Zach didn't do his homework this time
@@avut2001 Nothing. I was just clarifying that he doesn't have a wife. I wrote in my comment that neither way he should have put his issues a side. Read it again
Tbh This is by far the WORST interview the girls had. He looked completely uninterested, asking bland questions, it felt rushed and forced, like he's done just because he was obligated to it
The difference between this and the Le sserafim interview 😅 when Gidle is one of the very few groups in kpop who are actually self-made. They were asking Chaewon about the creative process of Unforgiven when she doesn't even know how to hold a pen
12:13 Minnie: have you watched the video?! :D Zach: pause and eyeroll "I have to really watch it?" like wtf you didn't watch the video they're promoting on your own show
I usually really enjoy Zach’s podcasts but this one just felt kinda awkward. He seems very dry and not interested. I just feel sorry for the girls cuz they felt happy being there :(
Even if you're such a popular MC, you shouldn't look down people for doing so much effort of the their project. Such a shame that the girls should finish this interview with the guy, show some respect to the girls. That guy looks like going back to work after hanging over. It's not respectful.
I always loved Zach's in depth interviews and I get that maybe his previous interviews with kpop idols didn't flow as much because of the language barrier but with (G) Idle being a self produced group that carries such a strong message l was expecting so much more. I can't help but feeling disappointed.
I can’t believe you asked them if they were different people. There are five individuals sitting right there in front of you who all have their own life and personality and to admit you didn’t watch their music video is embarrassing and rude. I can’t believe you would disrespect your guests like that
Yeah I agree. He was definitely disrespectful in this interview. I’ve seen a lot of his interviews and he usually is quite positive, expressive and takes time to appreciate the individuals in front of him (take blackpink for example). But here he is giving one word answers, terrible questions, clearly he didn’t watch the music video. Soyeon explained she produces, writes and mixes everything and he basically brushed over it like it was nothing? Whereas he seems to give other people (*cough* US chart topping individuals and friends) really interesting questions and shows his appreciation. A very disappointing interview from Zack. Plus his blunt short answers and monotonous vibe gave the impression he was bored of them. So disappointing.😊
@@pxtheticfxllxcy Tbh I think BP kind of ruined the interviews for other idols on this show. They were very nervous, awkward, and gave shallow airheaded answers to all of his questions. When he asked if they were involved in the music. Rose and Jennie just stared blankly at each other. Because of them he probably expected all Kpop groups to be fake, shallow, and uninvolved in their music
@@8luvbuguh yes let’s blame it on bp tf😐 it’s a him problem if he generalizes the whole kpop just from one interview also he did other kpop interviews they were fine.
Ah I love that they're a very "music first" group! I have never been a super dedicated follower of them but I love everything I've heard. It was nice to learn more about their process - it's so cool that the same person wrote my two favorite songs of theirs.
Guys lets support them in other show too!! They have more better interview than this. Billboard news,ET and more. at least we can see how profesional MCs do their work
Zach, I've expected more from you. Your interviews have been the highlight of so many KPOP fandoms, and they are usually super good. Idk what's going on, but this is truly painful to watch.
ZACH THEY ARE 99% SELF PRODUCED AND THEY AREN’T DAMN “co writers” THEY ARE MAIN WRITERS AND PRODUCERS, this heat album is their first ever album that wasn’t self produced and that’s because it’s in english
So, can we have a redo of this but with Zach at his full potential? because I know this is not usual for him and I doubt that it was done with malicious intent or just him being uninterested. We all have our bad days. But also, the girls deserved better than this.
WE PROUD OF YOU (G)I-DLE. Neverland gots your back, we always love and support you guys❤ I really sad seeing my girls in this interview, hopefully zach dont do this to anyone else. its really look unprofesional.
How do you have the most interesting Kpop girl group in Kpop history sitting in your studio and you treat them like they’re a waste of your time. You have Soyeon, THE Soyeon, one of the most respected and iconic female kpop artists in history in your presence and you ask these type of questions? There are journalists in South Korea who would sell their families to be able to interview her and her genius brain. Maybe if he did his research, he would know how big of deal Gidle are especially Soyeon. So disappointing. Gidle are a one of a kind girl group that has defied many odds in a conservative country like South Korea and they do not deserve this treatment.
This was the first time he was like this. His previous Kpop interviews were pretty good. I guess he was feeling under the weather here but either way it’s not so professional
The host should prepare more for the interview. Also, I feel that the host was not very respectful towards the girls, but they remained polite and in high spirits.
I'm a Gidle listener, i tryna follow them as i could. I thought i am the only one felt weird while watching, glad that i was wrong. I thought Zach was good at interviewing, make artists comfortable but it's weird to watch this (and he looks unwell, hope he gets better). Members look a like bored, they're looking excited but time passes they were like 'uh, ok'. It's like they don't have time to do some research, made it swiftly. I'm sad that girls don't gets good times. Zach talked w them like some gg. I would like to listen them (especially Soyeon tbh) how they recorded, what's the inspiration and the meaning of all of the concepts and want people get to know them more as an artist.
having guests on your show when you clearly don’t give a shit about them is wild to me. gidle has been given crumbs and were destined to fail in this industry yet they were able to make themselves a big name and break records. they not only produce and write their own music, they make music that pushes their country’s social norms. these girls have gone through triaaaals that most people in their industry did not last in. they’re the definition of self-made. they deserved more respect than a half assed interview man, i especially thought out of all interviewers you’d be interested in a group with such a background. super disappointed :(
Finally idle 😭❤️ you’re an amazing interviewer but hoped you were a bit more interested in the interview and had your research done beforehand 😁 wished that it was in interview for and hour though 😆
felt so uncomfortable while watching this video. i don't want to know how the girls must felt there. especially when minnie asked if he watched the mv for 'i do' and his answer being "no" like that's just so embarrassing bc they're actually here to promote that. that's what the interview was for. zach seemed uninterested the whole 14 minutes. by far their worst interview. the girls deserve better
The girls were overworked like hell but still smiling and trying to keep the atmosphere positive, and in the another hand the host seemed tired and disinterested in the girls , please don’t do interviews with artists if you intend to treat them like this
Soyeonie, Kim Minnie, Miyeonie, Yuqiah, Shushu.... keep fighting, you are the best, still the best, your songs is lovely dan sooo unique no one can beat you...
I already knew this wasn't going to be a good interview once I saw that it was only 14 mins long! They're a group like no other in kpop who have achieved too much to only give them a 14 mins interview! It's upsetting because I have always wanted you to interview them since you always ask good question. Next time do your research a bit more:)
Why Zack was so indifferent about them?He should be thankful for have the girls in the podcast. My beautiful and talented girls don’t deserve that kind of treat. 😒
13:14 i think minnie said happy cause at the end of the mv theres a scene where the alien girl’s memories with the earthling boy flash before her eyes and she has a warm smile on her face as she goes back to her world😢 the mv is actually very ET coded and cute
At first i was really happy to see they in this show. But seeing how UNPROFESSIONAL ZACH was, i just hope they were never invited. Like why you having them for an interview with such a disrespectful behaviour? Im sorry, i just really sad and disappointed to see this. I used to love this show so much
What's with the insanely awkward vibe? Usually this host is fantastic like when he interviewed Idina Menzel or BTS but this is a far cry from that same amount of interest and research. Was this a last minute thing?? Was he in a sour mood? God. I'm so sorry for the (g)irls.
i feel sad the girls had to sit through an interview with an interviewer who is clearly uninterested and hasnt done any research.... why bother to have them on your show when you are going to act like this? very disrespectful to a completely self-made group as amazing as idle.
its actually crazy how bad this interview is considering that gidle has had such a rocky and interesting path to get to where they are at right now, even self producing aside but oh well
zach you could’ve at least pretended like u cared about them and what they had to say. the disrespect u showed them is appalling and the girls deserve an apology
I just watched the Jessi interview and it was pretty good, but Zach doesn't seem to know anything about this group or how to talk to them. I'm really glad Minnie and Yuqi took charge of the interview, making it better.
i'm not their stan but I think in the idol world, these girls have got to be the only ones that have so much power in all aspects of their productions. In the 12 years that I've been consuming this genre, they are seriously the only group that has that level of control but i also think it's because their company went thru some drama and they were able to come out of that with more power in what they made. This interview was disappointing cause there was so much or more important things that could have been asked or explained.
This is very hard and uncomfortable to watch. The girls did great but the interviewer did so bad. The whole interview just feels off, the questions, the body language, the way he sits and the way he talks, the intonation and everything. I noticed this since Ateez interview, he did better there because he did some research but I still don't like the way he talks and sits. It's probably just a cultural thing but I just find it rude. I don't know if the interviewer was having a bad day or feeling under the weather that day but he should at least try to be professional and makes the girls feel welcome and comfortable. Their schedules are hectic too, and probably are more tired than the interviewer yet they don't show it and still smiling throughout the interview. All in all this is just a bad interview. Gidle deserves better.
Really disappointed by the way Zach treated (G)i-dle. Like.. He seems like he’s not interested in (G)I-DLE at all. He didn’t do much research while (G)I-dle has much more. They’ve done everything. Really Disappointing. Poor the girls.
There is really no excuse, for the interview questions to be so bad shows he's failing at his job, and the fact that apparently he is not like this with other interviews makes the whole thing seem weirdly targeted.
Never watched this guy before and you can't convince me to again, glad the comments confirmed what I thought was a very awkward, disinterested interview from the host. Very disrespectful.
The only reason I given a like is for my girls, I’m not even going to mention the interview 😑 and I hope this guy next time is more profesional and do his research.
What a wasted opportunity. Gidle is one of the few Kpop groups that deserve a two-hour-long interview filled with in-depth questions about each and every member, especially the self-producing line Soyeon/Minnie/Yuqi. Imagine having an opportunity to interview some of the most independent and empowering female artists in Asia, only to treat them with ignorance and disinterest. This is just sad.
I hope we get an extra long interview with Idle when Zach isn't going thru whatever he is going through. He is a great interviewer so that's why this one is getting so many negative reactions. The quality didn't meet the previously set expectations.

No wonder it's only 14mins, I've watched other interviews you did with kpop idols, felt unfair tbh
I've been a fan of them ever since debut.
(I Do and Queencard)
And this part of the interview
Minnie: Have you seen the music video?
Minnie's smile is a ray of sunshine and her English is really good, her accent is amazing and smooth
(G) idle ❤
Sad to see this interview didn’t turn out well. Soyeons one of the most talented people in kpop right now and I wish she was recognized by it more. Gidle is amazing and I hope they get keep getting more recognition
We need a redo where Zach is his normal self 💀
I agree
He even talked sweetly with SKZ, but with IDLE, he talked like he got into an argument with his mom or wife???? That's really disappointing to see!!!!! I hope you'll learn how to respect every single artists even if u don't know them!!!!!!
And he praised Ateez for being successfull group that doesn't come from the big3. But he didn't say nothing to the girls when they're also very successful! You can notice that Zach didn't do his homework this time
And btw, I think he is gay neither way he should have put his issue a side
@@Shxxskai Our girl's IDLE deserves so much better 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
@@Shxxskai What relevance does his sexuality have in this? Let's not become ableist just because the interview didn't live up to your expectations
@@avut2001 Nothing. I was just clarifying that he doesn't have a wife. I wrote in my comment that neither way he should have put his issues a side. Read it again
Tbh
This is by far the WORST interview the girls had.
He looked completely uninterested, asking bland questions, it felt rushed and forced, like he's done just because he was obligated to it
The difference between this and the Le sserafim interview 😅 when Gidle is one of the very few groups in kpop who are actually self-made. They were asking Chaewon about the creative process of Unforgiven when she doesn't even know how to hold a pen
I feel sorry for the girls. I really don't like the way the host asks questions and the way he sits. Come on, man...
Minnie explaining I do music video was everything. I could listen to her talk all day
Wow this was rough. They deserved better...
13:42
-ill watch
Yuqi: it’s ok
TELL HIM
12:15 he didn’t watch the music video???? Does he know any of their work at all??
😂😂😂😅
12:13
Minnie: have you watched the video?! :D
Zach: pause and eyeroll "I have to really watch it?" like wtf
you didn't watch the video they're promoting on your own show
Right? Like, good on Minnie for calling him out because WOW. He seemed about as interested as fucking Ellen DeGeneres there.
My queens are so graceful and so candid. So proud of you all! Fighting. Heat really slaps and can't wait for the next world tour.
I usually really enjoy Zach’s podcasts but this one just felt kinda awkward. He seems very dry and not interested. I just feel sorry for the girls cuz they felt happy being there :(
He looks sick 😷
they also linked the wrong album and wrong mv in the description
@@userjyjvthat true why like this...? queencard in album HeAt...?lol what wrong..?
That is so bad
literally i felt so bad, because the girls seemed so happy to be there but he felt really uninterested which is really unprofessional
12:48 the way soyeon is starring at minnie with the biggest smile on her face is so heart warming
As an English speaking fan, I appreciate this EP 100% but I appreciate G Idle suffering through this interview 1,000,000,000%
I can’t believe you asked them if they were different people. There are five individuals sitting right there in front of you who all have their own life and personality and to admit you didn’t watch their music video is embarrassing and rude. I can’t believe you would disrespect your guests like that
Zach obviously has some prejudice against kpop as some mindless popmusic machine, his attitude has been fully exposed now.
He must’ve not got that SM/YG pay to do the interview. 🤣
I’m so sorry my girls. Your works and arts deserves so much interest and sincerity i swear!!!
Ah I love that they're a very "music first" group! I have never been a super dedicated follower of them but I love everything I've heard. It was nice to learn more about their process - it's so cool that the same person wrote my two favorite songs of theirs.
Zach should respect them! Gidle just so special girl group in kpop.
I'm glad they are here!!!! Love them and the album too.
So, can we have a redo of this but with Zach at his full potential? because I know this is not usual for him and I doubt that it was done with malicious intent or just him being uninterested. We all have our bad days. But also, the girls deserved better than this.
WE PROUD OF YOU (G)I-DLE. Neverland gots your back, we always love and support you guys❤
I really sad seeing my girls in this interview, hopefully zach dont do this to anyone else. its really look unprofesional.
MILLION SELLER, CHART PERFECT ALL KILLERS, RUclips AND SPOTIFY STREAMS MASTERS, THEY OWN KPOP OUT OF THE BIG 4
Is this dude always like this? Saw this and will never watch any of this dude interview again anymore.
This was the first time he was like this. His previous Kpop interviews were pretty good. I guess he was feeling under the weather here but either way it’s not so professional
just let shuhua host the show
Fr. She would do way better than this
HAHA
😂😂
1:42 ill tell u what they have in common: theyre all so authentic, honest, and charismatic.
I would like to listen them (especially Soyeon tbh) how they recorded, what's the inspiration and the meaning of all of the concepts and want people get to know them more as an artist.
having guests on your show when you clearly don’t give a shit about them is wild to me. gidle has been given crumbs and were destined to fail in this industry yet they were able to make themselves a big name and break records. they not only produce and write their own music, they make music that pushes their country’s social norms. these girls have gone through triaaaals that most people in their industry did not last in. they’re the definition of self-made. they deserved more respect than a half assed interview man, i especially thought out of all interviewers you’d be interested in a group with such a background. super disappointed :(
Zack's usually on point in these interviews! He just wasn't giving the girls his normal energy. They are amazing
Finally idle 😭❤️ you’re an amazing interviewer but hoped you were a bit more interested in the interview and had your research done beforehand 😁 wished that it was in interview for and hour though 😆
What a bad interviewer, he didn’t even spend 3 min to watch their first English music video. How disrespectful
felt so uncomfortable while watching this video. i don't want to know how the girls must felt there. especially when minnie asked if he watched the mv for 'i do' and his answer being "no" like that's just so embarrassing bc they're actually here to promote that. that's what the interview was for.
zach seemed uninterested the whole 14 minutes. by far their worst interview. the girls deserve better
1:15 what a…weird question to ask lmao
fr like wtf hahahaha "are you all different people!?"
You can see Soyeon was like "wtf" look at her face she was thinking hes an idiot
The girls were overworked like hell but still smiling and trying to keep the atmosphere positive, and in the another hand the host seemed tired and disinterested in the girls , please don’t do interviews with artists if you intend to treat them like this
an interview that should never have been held
Zach why are you like this to Gidle???
I was so excited for this interview, that is before it started. :/
Zach has to be either drunk or stoned, because I refuse to believe he is this incompetent or lazy to not have prepared or researched beforehand.
Yeah hes really off here.
Soyeonie, Kim Minnie, Miyeonie, Yuqiah, Shushu.... keep fighting, you are the best, still the best, your songs is lovely dan sooo unique no one can beat you...
They got a new fan
I used to love this show so much
It’s very simple, do some research before you interview someone. Idle always kind and smart, give these girls some good questions
What's with the insanely awkward vibe? Usually this host is fantastic like when he interviewed Idina Menzel or BTS but this is a far cry from that same amount of interest and research. Was this a last minute thing?? Was he in a sour mood? God. I'm so sorry for the (g)irls.
0:19 HI IM MINNE IS SO CUTE FOR NO REASON
i feel sad the girls had to sit through an interview with an interviewer who is clearly uninterested and hasnt done any research.... why bother to have them on your show when you are going to act like this? very disrespectful to a completely self-made group as amazing as idle.
its actually crazy how bad this interview is considering that gidle has had such a rocky and interesting path to get to where they are at right now, even self producing aside but oh well
zach you could’ve at least pretended like u cared about them and what they had to say. the disrespect u showed them is appalling and the girls deserve an apology
I just watched the Jessi interview and it was pretty good, but Zach doesn't seem to know anything about this group or how to talk to them. I'm really glad Minnie and Yuqi took charge of the interview, making it better.
yuqi and minnie are so good at english
He looks tired, this is unlike him so I hope he's good and gets a redo with the girls.
They’re sooo perfect. Yuqi is something else 😍
i'm not their stan but I think in the idol world, these girls have got to be the only ones that have so much power in all aspects of their productions. In the 12 years that I've been consuming this genre, they are seriously the only group that has that level of control but i also think it's because their company went thru some drama and they were able to come out of that with more power in what they made. This interview was disappointing cause there was so much or more important things that could have been asked or explained.
the girls: 😌😀☺️
zach: 🙃🥴😐
1:48 yuqi’s face here is my face watching this. It’s awky.
Gidle did great, i hope they stay happy 😊
The only reason I given a like is for my girls, I’m not even going to mention the interview 😑 and I hope this guy next time is more profesional and do his research.
What a wasted opportunity. Gidle is one of the few Kpop groups that deserve a two-hour-long interview filled with in-depth questions about each and every member, especially the self-producing line Soyeon/Minnie/Yuqi. Imagine having an opportunity to interview some of the most independent and empowering female artists in Asia, only to treat them with ignorance and disinterest. This is just sad.
This exactly 😔 i was really expecting so much more
I hope we get an extra long interview with Idle when Zach isn't going thru whatever he is going through. He is a great interviewer so that's why this one is getting so many negative reactions. The quality didn't meet the previously set expectations.
