LT, thank you for continuing on this adventure. I’ve been watching you since the show and appreciate what you do. I’m a close to retirement, but planning on getting myself my retirement toy before I pull the plug. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us. It’s definitely motivating me to get something sooner rather than later.
Awesome to see you getting business on the service side of the shop as well as having time for the projects again. That Lincoln is bad ass! That’s cool that Nick gets to work on it, Nick LT is going to make you famous! Love the oil change label printer
I’m really enjoying watching the evolution of your business ventures! We were in Colorado Springs last Christmas and went to Fargo’s Pizza. You’ll have to take your family, it’s really good and fun place.
The shop looks great and you did an awesome job on the ugly truck frame!!! Nice work! I had a friend who had a Lincoln just like that and it is a cool car!! Thanks for a great video!
hey LT i just stopped by today and saw the shop. i saw you and wanted to get out and say hi. but the parents and fam were too busy to stop. im 15 and interested in working with you at the shop. im currently learning to weld but dont know much. i hope to say hi one day or maybe even work for you!!! -Brad
Remember to cut the bed rail off on the bed where the underbed c notch sits it’ll get in the way and you can’t bolt up the bed not sure if your even gonna have a bed but letting you know before you do
Well, depending on how fast he wants this truck to go, he will have to run bars back to the rear of the truck for the roll cage. That will strengthen the frame a bunch.
I'd box the frame just because I am OCD... LOL! But unless he is gonna be pulling the front tires a foot off the ground and turning 9-second quarter mile ETs, not gonna need it. The down bars for the roll cage will stiffen it all up anyways. As well, the C-notch is spot on. Damn good job and he installed the two cross members for the fuel cell that are way overkill. That frame is solid as is. Add a cage all done and he won't have any issues.
I love your shop I had a shop a few years ago but I broke my leg so I had to let it go I’m soul proprietor so no one else to run it unfortunately, but I’ll be getting another one here soon enough
Lt invest in weld sheets you can get red orange and green stops spatter on other cars pant and glass . Saves cost panting a car when tlits not yours hope you don't mind the suggestion LT
LT, this is just my opinion, I would not trust any C-notched frame running high horse power with leaf springs. If it was 4 linked, I would be good with it. All that torque all that twisting, the weight transfer just looks like disaster to me. Just my opinion. Thank you for the videos, sir
Colorado Springs isn’t too far of a drive for me. What is the shop called? Would you be able to check the alignment on a solid front axle swapped 2000 4runner?
Only way im buying a shop is if it comes with that oil change label printer😂😂 that thing is awesome. Sometimes its little things like that, that may be the selling points according to our OCD😂🙏🏼
ey bro do you know why the gm trucks have the rear diff shifted 1inch to the passenger side i thought something was wrong with my truck but then i checked all 3 and theyre all like that lol any info?
Might be cool to shorten the wheel base and use a 5.5' bed or modify yours with a short bob to cut down on extra mass. It could look like the full size late model Blazer they never made if it had a shortened shell on the bed.
I already suggested this to him and he said no. Huge loss IMO, especially since he wants to get another body for it and keep the ugly truck as is, but oh well.
@@Drunken_Hamster That is exactly what I have been saying this entire time. Love LT but I completely disagree with the direction he is going right now. His channel and still going to support though. Although I do agree with sticking with the extended cab. Way cooler than a regular cab lol
Too bad you didn't know from the start of the 4X4 conversion part of the project that you were going to just do another whole truck. You could've saved yourself maybe 200 plus pounds of weight going for a regular cab short box like your COPO truck instead of an extended cab.
Just seems like two opposing things happening at the same time. Trying to maintain a stock look while notching the frame right next to it to make it not stock and definitely not look stock. Not bashing at all, more so pointing out that I would not go through that labor to attempt at maintaining stock look if I was notching it which is obviously not a stock look. Could’ve save some serious time I’d think.
Be careful working around that Continental with welding and grinding, you can easily ruin the glass with grinding Sparks, I'll bet it's hard to find glass for that car
If I remember correctly, the process for this C-notch is different than when you did it for the Ugly Truck. Wasn't it? Is it a different kit or you did you just try a different way of doing it? Either way, awesome job!!!
proud of you man , for starting the shop and still following your dreams !
I appreciate it!

0:17 glad to see you’re in business and back with project updates. Congrats bud!
That mod is sweet. You make it look easy. Practice make perfect 👍🏼. Colorado Springs is lucky to have you. 🍀

Awesome day at the shop! Thanks for taking us along with you.
Oh MAN!!! I'm going to LOVE that Continental build. I really like those cars!
ditto.... more Lincoln build plz
Colorado Springs' viewer here. Found your channel a few weeks ago and subbed. Enjoying it so far. Good luck with the shop! Thank you for the content.
Looking good LT. I wish I wasn’t on the east coast. I’d love to drop by your shop.
Lt thanks for bringing awesome content on the continuation of the ugly truck, also the business side of things in the shop and keep up the good work
What an adventure! Thanks for bringing us along.
although tou may not see it you are a inspiration for many thank you
Great video, LT!!!
Black Sunshine. I had a black 95 Silverado RCSB dropped back in the day and i called it black Sunshine. Good name for the Continental 👍
I’m really enjoying watching the evolution of your business ventures!
We were in Colorado Springs last Christmas and went to Fargo’s Pizza. You’ll have to take your family, it’s really good and fun place.
Another project was the last thing I expected from you! Interested to see what's next.
Progress is key, nice work
That Lincoln is too cool! We need a start up video with the exhaust!
it doesn't run yet, but we will for sure give you guys a sound clip once we get it fired up
I'm jealous !!! Just sayin....I have always wanted a shop
Awesome all around!
Fun stuff! Keep pushing!
So happy for you !love the shop.
Happy to see your business is actually taking off!
slowly but surely
That lincoln is sweet👍
the oil change sticker maker is cool, scratches that itch
Our man melting metal with a mig reminds us he’s not always a superhero just a bad ass fabricator
The shop looks great and you did an awesome job on the ugly truck frame!!! Nice work! I had a friend who had a Lincoln just like that and it is a cool car!! Thanks for a great video!
Sweet! I like the new shop and the way these new videos are 🤟🏼
93👍's up LT thank you for sharing this video with us all 😅
Nice work man! Great eye for detail!
thanks, I try my best!

If you’re ever in the area and have more time feel feee to stop by!
great video!!
Badass! Make sure to put an oil change tag in your drag truck lol
Gonna put one on every vehicle I own
A welding screen might be a good investment. If your gonna be welding with other people and other projects around.
I would like to see another channel about the shop and biz side.
You're just so dang GOOD!
I really like the idea of lowering the truck... rather than raising it up. This is going to be fun!!
The Continental needs some Isotope Kennedy wheels BAD and it would be perfect!! Looks good LT.
Remember to cut the bed rail off on the bed where the underbed c notch sits it’ll get in the way and you can’t bolt up the bed not sure if your even gonna have a bed but letting you know before you do
You forgot to Zoom in on the bald spot. Puddin's Fab shop would be disappointed. 😂
haha... it got a lot of screen time this episode unfortunately
Ironically I had a friend that used to live in the house behind your shop when we were stationed at Ft Carson.
You need to change your oil service reminder stickers to read "Tolman Service".
🔥🔥🔥
Badass work💪
thanks!
Thats a baby notch down here in texas😂
Ok pipsqueak
everything is bigger in texas!
Ya but he will have an uncut up bed
That Continental is gorgeous.
The back part of that frame is going to really flexy- C notch kit is 1/2 the depth of the original frame.
Its probably just as strong if not stronger being it is fully boxed compared to the factory C channel.
Well, depending on how fast he wants this truck to go, he will have to run bars back to the rear of the truck for the roll cage. That will strengthen the frame a bunch.

If you're going to put a new body on you should shorten the chassis and use a regular cab shortbed.
Would a Tahoe body fit? A drag Tahoe might be neat, a bit heavy though.
Lt invest in weld sheets you can get red orange and green stops spatter on other cars pant and glass . Saves cost panting a car when tlits not yours hope you don't mind the suggestion LT
Cover the Lincoln of your going to be doing all that welding and cutting

You should start a second channel for the shop
Is the soft top on the Lincoln operating? I understand they are a nightmare.
actually yeah, that is one of the few things on the car that does work lol...

Nice haircut

Hey brother what size wire are you using for your mig
it has 0.030" wire in it right now
Lt, way off topic. But did you all ever run project low n slow in the 1/4 after the flywheel bolts backed out? I was curious as to how quick it was.
No, unfortunately we never got the chance to get the truck back to the track after that.
Too bad you didn't know from the start of the 4X4 conversion part of the project that you were going to just do another whole truck. You could've saved yourself maybe 200 plus pounds of weight going for a regular cab short box like your COPO truck instead of an extended cab.

How does it feel to be working in your own shop👍
🤟🏽
LT please add "join"!!!!!!!
ive done a bad bad thing i cut my brother in half my momma is gonna cry haha it reminded me of that movie lol
I’m confused. I thought the back tubes got moved because you were wanting a stock looking frame.
Moved em to fit the fuel tank and wanted an oem look, but also need the functionality of a c-notch

same exact kit actually, but just wanted to try a different method of installing it
So.....its a weld through paint, but you arent welding through it? why not just use regular primer then?
I want the printer, I just take pics of the odometer now.
Cut my frame into pieces…. This is my last resort
I cut my frame into pieces, it was my last resort. Better takeoffs, no hopping, don’t give a ‘Fk if I gap you leaving. THIS IS MY LAST RESORT.

Not quite.
Nope, I'm first!
Don't like Ford but that continental is bad to the bone
Along with everything else you do
Too bad it wasn't 3 years older we could have been called the Animal House Lincoln Continental.
First!
