Beautiful work. Great collection of images. The trio of Churchill tanks captured my attention BUT the most special part, probably because I was TF RNZE for twelve years; is the Normandy beach head floating wharf display. Even more special when you know that negligence at the Yank beaches put their wharves out of action when the big storm arrived. Tank Museum location is the cherry on the cake with the display of these impressive models. Thank you to the videographer and the modellers for this video. I have subscribed. Cheers from NZ🇳🇿. P.S. The HMS Burdock model is also quite important, as those small ships played such an important role and would have provided interesting voyages across the Atlantic during rough weather.
Great Michael, thanks! When I posted these pictures I wasn't sure how much interest I would get so great to see so many positive comments, memories and stories. I have plenty more content from my Bovington visits so bear with me while I experiment with a few things but do let me know what you like and want to see. David
@@davidwheeler254 David, keep going as you have. One thing I learned, whilst running a prize shoot for 13 years and helping to run the other shoots I attended, is that: you pay more attention to the minor comments and hold off on larger changes until you have a significant number of people who help, pushing for the same things. So, make change slowly. More fun for everyone, including you.
Thanks Steve. It's good to share the passion of model making & collecting and great to meet the real people who flew, drove and sailed them. I used to work at Bmth Flying club so honoured to have met some of the crews and forces personnel.
Please take note of this video. THIS is how model shows should be recorded. Not walking around waving your phone at models. Well done!
Thanks Jim appeciated!
Thanks for sharing your pictures and for including our display (10:09 - 11:24) 😎
No problem Daryl. Always happy to share the passion of model making and collecting. Thanks for the comments
