At the end of the movie, when Unchained Melody was performed as part of one of Elvis’s last concerts, that WAS Elvis - NOT Austin. Austin did a wonderful job starring as Elvis. He captured his spirit, and voice, and dance moves. That was the best Elvis I have ever seen. Baz Lurhmann Thank you for making this movie before I died.
My mom would've absolutely loved this movie. She was such a big Elvis fan. I was 6 years old in 1977 and remember my mom being just heartbroken on her birthday that year. It was the day Elvis died on August 16.
The way Austin channeled Elvis and how Baz captured that was a beautiful harmony. I was so moved, and am in a euphoria of who he was. Elvis eserved so much better, he was a broken man with pieces missing when put back together.
Baz has given us such a Beautiful film. Austin just crushed it all the way. I think this is my favorite movie about Elvis. I still like Michael ST Gerard in the series Good Rockin Tonight, Elvis The Early Years. Also Kurt Russell in the TV film ELVIS. Austin Butler really sings and he got Elvis's moves spot on. Austin sharing his story about losing his mother at 23 like Elvis losing his mother at 23, just very touching. It was meant to be that Austin would portray Elvis, and I believe Elvis's spirit guided him through it. Thanks So Much Baz and Austin for this Amazing! Awesome! Film. This young man is amazing
Austin surprised me with his ability to convey thought. He seems very intelligent. I say surprised as his good looks are powerful and could easily distract.
I agree, I was surprised at first. But good looking people can be intelligent too. I think that's what they mainly struggle with. They get underestimated for their ability to put in work or speak properly because people judge them over something God gives them hah
He's very connected to his own feelings and others' as well.
Same here.
Uhm what? Good looking men are usually very deep and much nicer people overall. It's the other men we want to worry about...
The best looking people can be very intelligent, the valedictorian of my grade was the best looking girl in the our whole high school!
Great interview! Loved hearing a genuinely heartfelt answer to how Austin found his connection to the role. He was phenomenal. This film was everything I hoped it would be. Baz has made an amazing film.
Great interview.
4:40 anyone who has lost a family member close and deal with grief understand the random dreams we have of our lost loved one.. I lost my dad as 21 and I’m 25 now those dreams are so full of Grief:(
I know Austin's mummy is proud of him
💯
Austin was so so amazing, I was so moved by his performance 🕺🏻🖤🤎🖤
Now that Austin has found that voice/way of speaking, he's not changing it.
Kaia Gerber seems to like it!
@@jumpyjoanne For now. Until the next one likes it. And besides, they’re not going to be together for long anyway.
BAZ is a gifted artistic GENIUS! Love ya BAZ! 💙🙏💕🥰
Austin's story brought me to tears
What an amazing movie. Austin is so amazing.
austin you were absolutely wonderful
that was fantastic
I'm so glad that he found Austin Butler. That was perfect choice. He is very talented man who bring us back in time when Elvis ruled and he did it spectacular.

"COMPETENT FILM", the understatement of the year. It was extraordinary
I need to see this tape!
Austin its such a handsome guy so cute, working along with this crazy Tom Hanks it was the perfect pair, good move.
Elvis is impossible to imitate, but Austin did it! Thank goodness they used elvis recordings. Loved hearing those. It will be a crime if Austin does not win an Oscar.
Baz is brilliant.
Austin has got a gorgeous spirit. He kind of made Elvis live again. Outstanding.
More than his spirit is gorgeous!
@@denisebodey1817 lolll yeah but I'm more concerned with his work ethic and the love and passion for acting he put into this film. It's extraordinary!
Thank you both, I loved the movie, pure perfection.🌟
And I am going to see it again!
Austin deserves an Oscar; the film really touched me…..
I totally agree!

I have now seen it three times .. it just gets better and better ❤️Austin was incredible!!
Saw Elvis this evening. It's a really terrific film
I did see the movie 🎥 🍿 I love it A Great beautiful and fantastic movie they did Great job Austin, Tom, Baz I'm going to see it again.

Hello Karen

Can’t wait for the movie
Hello Carolyn
How are you doing today?
Awesome! Film. I'd like to see Austin work with Baz again later on. Take Care! and God Bless You!
Elvis always wished to be a serious actor. Maybe Elvis is now reincarnated as Austin. In any case Massive Respect.
Austin is Beyond phenomenal.
