I really appreciate you posting this. I bought a Wii at a thrift store for $9. Got it home and it would not read discs. Opened it up and realized the disc wasn't spinning. I wasn't having any luck finding a solution. I figured it was something with the motor. After I watched your video, I used some electronic cleaner the same way you did. Soaked it good. Put it together enough to test it. Tried 3 discs and they all read perfectly!
