I am happy to listen about the Central Pivot Irrigation system installed Thal Desert. I hope that we will be able to cultivate other crops like wheat, chickpeas, lentils, fruits, and vegetables. I think (Khajoor) Date Tree will expand rapidly. Apart from the above, we can lease the desert area to friendly countries if we are not capable to spend heavy money on the CVI system but there should be a condition that the items grown will be used for the local market first and then extra production if available can be exported to the investor country. The labor force should be fully from Pakistan.
With this pivot irrigation system make thal , cholistan , south kpk ,thar & balochistan a food bucket for human & cattle then provide this food & feed all over pakistan . Involve people to raise cattle’s and create a huge halal & non halal meat industry . China is right there for exports .
