With this trick, which is only used during demonstrations to gain students, it’s easier than it looks. Basically, the distance between the slabs is spaced out in a certain way that when the first slab is broken the force created breaks the second slab using the first one. If you break the first one, odds are the energy created will break the second one. As this is ice and standing up rather than laying horizontally it’s much more difficult and requires much more strength and momentum to get through, very impressive
Sensei artemio is really a cool guy and he's nice to us, as a student of sensei artemio in his class I was so proud and I really enjoyed it as his student, they said he was strict but he was just doing his job exactly Im really proud of sensei artemio as my teacher on karate!
I'm from the Philippines let me hop on this man's band wagon real quick and contribute it to a place and not an individual so I can feel like im a part of his success
the warmer climate of The Phillipines has melted the ice thus the surface has became uneven and difficult to break. But still I respect the sensei. Oss!
Stating the obvious there aren't you? :D A breaking demonstration is not about fighting. It's a demonstration of power, technique, and focus. Comment's like "ice don't hit back" just show ignorance of what tameshiwari is about :D Sensei Mancol is a National Champion and one of the top Kyokushin fighters to come out of the Philippines. He has fought internationally representing his country. Passing judgement on someone's fighting skills based on a single video that doesn't show fighting is again, just ignorance on your part. In the future I suggest you think before you post ;)

Bill Stewart It's funny how people use Bruce Lee's "boards don't hit back" line to dismiss breaking, when Bruce himself did breaking demos himself.
