I have an older 227 and those Kohler engines eat up some yard. It rides like a buckboard, but you get the ride your yard gives. Thanks for the good post.
Thanks for the video! About to do this on my 2001 Grasshopper 325 midmount. You have prob gotten a bunch of comments saying this but, my only suggestion is to always say what size tools u are using.
If he's mowing thick brush and stumps from the look of the blades and bolts. You may need to check the spindles for bent shafts. And have a talk to the customer about how to use a mower. The right way!!!
Good stuff it is very hard to video and share what and where you are doing. You did a fine job and understood exactly what you where showing. Thank you. I will be subbing for more info.
I have a whole fleet of 325,s I have to do this alot. I see alot of bent handles and tons of bent spindle shafts and broken blade bolts. Many think its a Bush hog
What the FORK was the customer cutting to bend the bolts and wear the cutters out ???? I know some customers are just plain rough but this is just plain ridiculous. Would bet you that the bearings are burnelled and or shafts are bent. Good luck with the repair. VF

How can I get more ground speed when the handles are already max forward?? I have a 225 grasshopper. Thanks.
Just turn counter clockwise the bolt head limiter that faces you as you look at front of machine at bottom of lever.
Good tip buddy
I just acquired a 725k and am having trouble getting the hydro speeds synced up. Can you give me a dummy proof explanation on what to do?
You mean at full speed it yaws? Try turning in or out the bolt head that appears on front of levers. This is limit adjustment.

What is the accelerator fan used for?
Cooling
what size wrenches are they ?
I don’t recall,
How did you even get those blade bolts out???!!!
Thumbs up for you.
If you need a handle to step up onto a mower machine like that, it’s hard for you to get behind a walk behind for a couple hours today… Belt drive😂
What if the arms are not even how do you adjust them to become even again?
At neutral? Since atleast 2004 the lever position is adjustable by lossening the lever thst is visible low down on lever & tightening where you want.
Bent bolts, damn. He must be hitting something with those blades, metal water caps or big rocks, etc.
Grasshopper 721, Know where the Lever safety switch is.TY CG
I've seem them. I think you have to remove fender to see if memory serves me right.
Loose nuts are never good....... Could you demonstrate how to properly mount a grass Hopper?
