Modified a Cheap Display Port Dock from Amazon

I modified a cheap display port dock that I got off of Amazon with a higher end cable, better port anchoring, active cooling, and a custom made weight to stop it from sliding around.
This has been running 1440p at 120hz for months now after taking these precautions to make sure this is as good as it could possibly be without breaking the bank.

The input you are tapping on is USB PD, so it will have more than 5v, more like 12 to 20v or I'm missing something?
Good video, I do the retouch on the soldering myself, it's a good advice.
