  • Join me as I hike into the New Zealand bush in search of a clearing to setup camp for the night.

    Beautiful area you live in my friend. I’m 65 and live in the low desert in Arizona. I’ve backpacked all over our mountains, explored gold mines and such. Love watching you on your trips in the bush. Thanks for sharing !

    Opulas 2 @1.8kg & that huge vestibule would make for a pleasant stay with partner in the rain. Lovely campsite Corey, that hobo stove would work well as a trangia stand.

      The opalus 3 has more headroom . This opalus 2 and me being tall can be abit tight to move around but it's a great tent. Doesn't leak. Very little condensation in my experiences so far

    Hi I'm 6'7'' (202cm), can u please tell me the size of the inside of tent?
    I want to know if I will fit in this tent(opalus , 2 person tent)

      I would go for the 3 persons version...I am 6 ft 3 inch and there is plenty of space...I do have a motorbike so not worried about the extra few hundred grams.

    it looks stunning, for me, it looks tropical "Northling from Norway ", do you have mosquitoes and bugs as we do here in Scandinavia and what do you use to protect yourself? but must say the spot you found looks like the perfect spot for camping
