Discovered all these great music RUclips channels 2 years ago and I am still playing catch up to kick ass bands. So much is out there from places I never expected. Kinda puts the creative music scene in the states to a lower level than it use to be.

There are several bands out there to claim Tool’s scepter. One can’t disagree that SOEN was/is heavily influenced by the band that paved the way BUT one shouldn’t deny the fact that SOEN is really a unique band of its own and has a LOT to give! Makes me happy to discover such awesome music in these musical dark ages

Soen is way more influenced by middle age opeth than tool. My opinion. Obviously they have some tool trademarks
