I wanted to share a little story with you beautiful book nerds. So, one wintry night, my family and I went to a ski lodge. Not to ski, but because we wanted a getaway with no wifi or anything. We drive up the mountain, through fog and snow, until we see it; a beautiful old mansion. we run through the frigid air, toward the lights of the expansive building. it was completely empty, with a fire roaring in the fireplace, illuminating the massive living area, complete with old books and chess sets on low-lying tables. we had the entire lodge to ourselves that year. (this actually happened, it felt like a murder mystery, but it was SO BEAUTIFUL)
i love dark academia but i don't wear academia-ie clothing if yk what i mean that's why i thought of a coffee date/shop/house aesthetic! it's kinda just dark academia but with a casual look or something you would wear if you're going to a coffee date :)) i don't even like coffee- still a cute aesthetic fun✨
