      @JayDee-k8mEvery fighter in the old days was using PEDS and even now probably 90% of fighters are on PEDS. Silva didn’t start losing until he was old as hell and too stubborn to just quit. He had a 16 UFC fight win streak and only 2 of those were decisions. 14 finishes in 16 fights. Dude was incredible

      yeah, exactly. the people who were not really good enough to make it on their own. Dana White wanted to set him up to be a poster boy so he only gave silva fights he could win. Usually against nobodies. He even changed the rules for silva so that the fights never went to the mat where silva had no skills at all. Thats why the instant stand up's started to happen during that period. Dana white literally destroyed the UFC so that he could have a WWE style posterboy. All of us that were fans before saw exactly what was happening and we all stopped watching. The UFC used to be street fighting. Real fights. Dana turned it into gloveless boxing and WWE scripted fights and drama.

      It's because it takes time for for the nerves around the liver to send a message to the brain, which then processes the information, and then sends the message back down. His slow kneel over was him mentally trying to fight an involuntary, lizard brain response to protect his internal organs from more damage
