  • We ask for doors to be opened…and sometimes they are. Other times they are not. How we perceive this directly affects our forward momentum/direction! #justadude70 #longhairannouncer #garyavansentertainment #lespaul #guitarivation #guitarmotivation

I commented on the other 95 Paul video but I’m glad I watched this one too. You’re absolutely right about open and closed doors. God bless!

I do! I’ve been playing bass since 11 and guitar since 13. I’m 30 now and I’d say I’m in the realm of being what you’d call an “intermediate guitarist.” I’m not Steve Vai or anything but I’ve been in a few bands played out a bunch learned the good and the bad that comes with that. You already know. I agree though I think we should help people. We’re all here for different reasons and for different purposes but that doesn’t mean we can’t bring other people up with us right? Hahaha

The answer to your questions is in your first paragraph somewhat. “We make conscious choices.” The question really is did we make those choices by truly listening to what HE wanted us to do or what WE wanted to do. Also, Just because we may regret decisions we have made doesn’t necessarily mean they were the wrong ones. You never know how that decison may have impacted someone else but not worked out for us how we “thought” it would. Fortunately and unfortunately lol he gave us free will to make our own choices. I believe we have a path but I also believe we make left turns when we should’ve went right so it takes longer to find our direction. lol I have lots of questions for Him when I get up there. I’m certain there may be biblical references to this kind of thing and it would be interesting to see them. Of course, 3 people will interpret it 3 different ways. You have to search for the answer……not what you think the answer should be

😂 "I'm going to still say the same thing but ..." Sometimes we do miss opportunities. We make conscious choices to say no ... then later regret our choice for whatever reason. I've come to view those too through the lens of redirection. We had limited data at the time we made that choice. That feels like a "justification" for a choice but as a Believer I know that it was data that God had and I didn't and His grace influenced my "choice" ... I won't "what if" God LOL He saw the end before I was born. If I had 10 choices He already knew the path each would follow and where they'd end. TBH that raises a question ... that would mean He ultimately influences every decision of everyone? or just those whose path He'd already determined under the doctrine of election? I'm probably make this more complicated than it is.
I just got to the "everything happens for a reason" 😂I must really piss you off. 🤣I believe that and I'll chase that reason LOL ... sometimes it's YEARS before I can see it but so far it hasn't failed ... I'm out but I def want the fight story 😆
