I like how everyone else is clowning us Australians for our accents, wildlife, ect… on RUclips, Ryan’s just being positive and learning about Australia. Yeah we’re built different but there’s more positives than negatives
People love Perth. I live in Sydney and a lot of people from here who travel to Perth say they could see themselves living there. You should visit Perth when you come here for sure!
I'm from Brisbane, I said the same thing after my visit, such a beautiful city and so easy to navigate, people are amazing.

South Australians live here BECAUSE it's less congested, has great weather (Mediterranean climate) and the beaches are superior to the East Coast (no stingers, Stonefish or Crocs). Best kept secret in the country!

We do have a jellyfish that is colloquially called a stinger, but it's Carybdea rastoni, and as a child I had swimming lessons on a beach that was frequented by them. As far as I know, this is the _only_ species of stinging jellyfish in South Australia.

I hate Queensland I is to bloody hot🤬 and I went back to Sydney and wouldn't got back there It is to busy and it is just a concrete jungle I was born there and finished myeducation there I loved it back than not now hate it

Hot? Have you been to NT? not even a winter just wet and dry and I will take an early morning in a hot summer to start work than a freezing morning and Queensland beaches beat everyone for diving, but apologies to my diggers we all love it here, plays the Seekers I am Australian and I am both first fleet, native and multi ethnic before some one gets on a high horse, just good people from many nations trying to strive to be better yes....

@@keepthinking9402 I remember being in Darwin in early April, years ago. I was sitting under my mate's house drinking beer. It was 35 degrees Celsius. That mightn't seem surprising if you've been to hot tropical climates before. But it was 2 AM!!! 35C at two o'clock in the morning.

When Ryan googles the weather down here, he only ever looks at current temp which is possibly during our nights. He needs to look at the high and low of the day or even the week to get a more accurate feel.

@@missjane140330deg Brissy prolly feels like 42deg Perth! Humidity does count. Just the other day was a hot dry 34C about 70km away from Melbourne where I live. A sudden little thunderstorm with small hail and very heavy rain that lasted less than 10 minutes during which time the temperature dropped to 22C! Then it slowly rose again but now it was also humid and sticky.

Yeah to Western Australia, the other states look down on us quite often and say we are too far away. We on the other hand love being so far away and enjoy isolation. In the pandemic we just closed the borders and lived happily on our own. I think we were in lock down for a couple of weeks and then every thing opened up and we got on with business, unlike the rest of the world we did not get a lot of cases of Covid and we were able to live as normal. We have all the beautiful scenery of the other states it is just spread out a lot more. I was born in NSW but have lived here in WA for over 30 years never crossed my mind to return to the east.
I’m a country girl through and through, but the two cities I visited in Victoria (Melbourne and Geelong) were stunning! So clean and generally pretty chilled out, apart from Melbourne market, that was a little bit hectic, but I’ve never visited such an amazing market! I wanted to buy so much food but it was only a few days before I left, deffo a first stop next time I’m over there! You need to give yourself at least 6-8 weeks for a visit and even then it won’t be long enough. I’m from the U.K. live in the U.K. but my heart is in Australia, I feel more at home in Oz than I do in the U.K. if I could, I’d live the rest of my life in Australia, I’d go in a heartbeat and never look back.
6 - 8 weeks is an absolute minimum if you want to see anything more than the big cities. Save your pennies, Ry, & come on down.
You have enough fans here that you wouldn’t need to pay for accommodation. We’d all love to have you all stay & show you around our neck of the woods.
Folks should remember that most of these types of lists are very subjective, and what appeals to most may not be suitable for you. Additionally, while the states and territories are listed worst to best, our worst is still pretty amazing. With that in mind, I've been everywhere in AUS on the mainland (including Tas) and have lived in most states, and I can 100% agree with this list, and I always find myself coming back to WA.

NO they go troppo in the lead up to the wet season ie/ November. I lived there for a couple of years and the suicide rate doubles in November when there is no relief from the intense humidity. Once the rains come, there is instant relief!
I live in Darwin. Violent crime because of you young aboriginal residents thinking everything is free. Ram raids and stolen cars every night, breaking into homes and bashing elderly people if they get in their way. Shopping centres all have private security with attack dogs. And smoke shops have their own security on top of that. Because they just jump over the counter. Its getting quite bad. But when ever the abc does a story about the indigenous, it's all about how hard done by they are.
Good ol troppo. Not specific to Darwin or nt though. Anywhere north of tropic of Capricorn that's a danger for new players.
Did someone delete my comment about the youth indigenous population causing crime? Because it's the truth... I wasn't saying anything that wasn't true. Then people wonder why nothing is done. People ignore it because it's inconvenient

Hi Ryan, I'm Dee from Tassie and I would like to thank you for your lovely comments about my wonderful state. Also i saw a video recently you did all about Tassie and how some people who live here didn't seem to care about getting left of the map on certain events. I think Tasmania (and also Western Australia) gets shafted so much for events because they just aren't as easy to get to compared to the other states and generally the turnout for events when they are done there isn't worth the extra hassle. There isn't really much that can be done about that other than those states enticing events to take place in their city. Perth just had a big wrestling event because they reportedly forked out millions of dollars to host it over the other states. It would have been much easier for them to do it at, say, Sydney instead. Every state should have the same opportunity to experience events, but sometimes it just isn't logistically sensible to visit some states over others.

If you wanted to visit Perth but also see more of Australia on a limited schedule, you'd have to fly between capitals basically. It would be a bit like saying you wanted to see L.A., New Orleans and New York in one trip.
I love that the supermarkets close earlier in SA. It shows you don’t need to shop 24 7 and the staff can have a weekend.
Disagree. I had a big day yesterday, went shopping at a Spudshed about 10.30 pm. Their HUGE stores run 24/7/365.

Nah mate. Doing most things during the daytime is pretty obnoxious in reality. Just let the sun go down, and it's suddenly quite pleasant. We have these amazing things called 'light bulbs'. I totally agree, doing your weekly big shopping trip at spudshed at 10pm after dinner and a shower is a far better experience than trying to cram it in the afternoon after work because coles closes at 6. And I've worked those jobs. The store is never really switched off. We'd start work in some departments at 3:30-4:00 am. Other departments ran through to 1/2:00am. Nobody knew where the light switches were, they were never used. It takes an immense amount of effort to keep a supermarket stocked. Might as well spread it out over the day and night n keep selling. Although, it does limit the opportunity for pallet jack races down the Isles. Some really dumb stuff happens in the small hours of the morning in your local supermarket.

@@AussieFossil That stat seems wrong. Sydney's metro is around 300k LARGER than Melbourne. Melbourne expanded its urban area though to include outlying suburbs so I wouldnt count that
Why Tassie is colder than the rest of the country is due to a couple of reasons, 1: It's the last stop before you hit Antarctica. 2: There is a wind stream called the "Roaring 40's". Which howls across the southern Indian Ocean/ Southern Ocean. It batters the Island & mainly the west coast. 3: while Australia is known for being the flattest country/continent, Tassie is the exception. It's by far the most mountainous state.
An honourable mention has also got to go out for the Antarctica Territory. There is a good chunk of Antarctica that Australia controls but seems like other nations don't really care about the boundary lines.

Mate , I'm fifty years old and living in country Victoria . I've spent a large part of my life travelling around our beautiful continent, and i will never see all of it. So if you think you're going to Perth and then see the rest of Aus, you're going to have to stay for the rest of your life.lol
Currently, in Victoria, it's around 40 degrees Celsius and lots of bushfires.

Subjective on all sorts of reasons. Anywhere in OZ can be the best place to live depending on your lifestyle. Mostly it is the people that make it liveable.
I literally just visited Perth for the first time over the weekend and it was genuinely a wonderful place to visit. It has beautiful beaches and parks and the city life was lively enough without it being too lively. It never felt overpopulated or crowded when walking around the city compared to Melbourne where I am from. There is also Rottnest Island nearby; home to quokkas and also an abundance of beautiful beaches. I didn't manage to go to Fremantle but if I ever come back I'll probably be heading down there at some point.
Fremantle is awesome. It has far more to offer, the Markets, cafes, restaurants, large variety of different little shops, the beach, seafood etc than Perth city which has to be one of the most boring cities on earth imo. I have lived here most of my life but was born in Adelaide, which is still dear to my heart 💖

@@joanneginever1890 Yeah, there really wasn't a lot to the city (at least what I saw) but it was a change from Melbourne so I appreciated that. I really wanted to head down to Fremantle but it seemed more appropriate to make that a day trip and I just didn't have that sort of time, unfortunately.
Awww Fremantle is heaps better than Perth itself, and only a 20 min drive or train ride. Next time!

The beautiful blue water you were admiring in Western Australia is due to the limestone sands in that area. The incredible thing is that the wildflowers also vary their colours according to the primary minerals in their soil. If you are planning a trip to WA try to come in wildflower season…and that can vary according to the rains. It is certainly a gorgeous state to visit, but then every state is gorgeous!
Been an Adelaiden for 80 years, would only live in one other capital city in Oz and I’ve visited them all, and that is Perth. Have driven from Adelaide to Perth via the nullabor plains and back, a great experience. Sydney is a great place to visit but wouldn’t want to live there. Forget the others 😊
Totally agree. Adelaide has everything that the bigger cities have without the stresses and hustle and bustle (AND NO TOLL ROADS).

Not many people like to talk about it or identify the communities amongst which crime in the NT is rife, however the crime epidemic largely stems from aboriginal communities unfortunately. Most of the bad news is sadly suppressed by our media, however there have been reports of children as old as infants being presented to hospitals with sexual infections and injuries on a daily basis. Recently the spotlight was on crime in the NT a few months ago when there were riots and above average unrest on the streets in places like Alice Springs. Home invasions are particularly an issue and an overseas student was murdered in his own accomodation in Darwin when this was going on. People who travel to the NT from outside need to keep their whits about them, as some European girls have been known to be dragged into alley ways and assaulted in broad daylight. The NT also has the highest alcohol consumption in the nation amongst the general populace. Its not an image that many of us would wish to project overseas of the nation that prides itself for not having the same systemic issues as other countries. You also have to be careful where you park your car, as kids up there also like to drill out your petrol tank or steering fluid to sniff and it would suck to be stranded up that way.
Absolutely true!! Unfortunately the Aboriginal Community causes most of the crime!! Alcohol abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse even to small children within Aboriginal families, not working and being provided with endless money through Social Services, provided for by hard working Tax Payers!! I believe these people should be made to work like everyone else, provide for their own families, like everyone else. Perhaps then the situation would improve if Aboriginals were made to take personal responsibility for themselves!! Without some hard decisions being made, nothing is going to improve and Aboriginal women and children are going to continue suffering from Domestic violence, etc!!
I grew up and lived half of my life in #1 and currently live in #2. I would probably agree with the top choices and I keep thinking about whether I'd retire in WA or VIC in a few decades. QLD is OK if you like tropical weather, rugby, cyclones, crocodiles, creepy crawlies and jelly fish - not wishing to be too critical though as it has a lot of beauty and appeal that cannot be denied. Perth is only a 3.5 - 4 hour flight from Melbourne, and I wouldn't discount visiting areas outside of the city too, such as the South West, which is truly awesome. The weather in WA can nearly be whatever you want it to be based on when you choose to visit, as it has fairly predictable weather and seasons from mild to the potential for fairly extreme high temperatures in summer. Perth has the most hours of daylight of any of the major cities. For me, the climate in Melbourne is generally cooler, which ticks a massive box, and its a pretty good place to live all up.

Yep. Perth has just had 10 consecutive days of 40+ c temperatures. That would never happen in Melbourne or Brisbane. I always find it amusing when people from Perth complain that Qld is too hot. Mackay & north perhaps but the south east corner of Qld is sub tropical and rarely has any days over 40c.

Western Australia’s south west! Edit… I mean come on, we are the WHOLE WESTERN PART of Australia, from the Kimberley, Ningaloo Reef (as long as the Great Barrier Reef). Then where the red dirt deserts morph into the golden fields of farmland. South west is beautiful beaches. And the south coast has huge Tingle trees that rival the redwoods of Oregon. Perth is the most isolated city in the world and many overseas music artists reside here as they find the laid back and lack of rat race refreshing. Just saying 😎
Edit 2. Omg I should have watched to the end! I thought it would have been nsw vic biased. Oopsie. The WA country pics shown didn’t do us justice though, although the city was captured perfectly. The oceans are that colour in places, that was either Exmouth in the North west, or Esperance in the south. The pink lake is near Esperance. I agree though, you can’t go wrong in Australia!
Yeah amen they could’ve done us better. Didn’t even show all the stunning beaches or other places than Perth. Like the caves!! Or the Shark Bay and Coral Bay Area with the contrasting sands.
I think that pink lake is the Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake situated between Northampton and Kalbarri. WA has four pink lakes though atm one is not pink due to it becoming less salty. The Hutt Lagoon is over 10km long. "Hutt Lagoon's striking pink colour is thanks to algae that live in the water, Dunaliella salina. When exposed to sunlight, the algae produces beta-carotene, the red pigment found in carrots and other vegies."
Ningaloo Reef is only 300 km long. The Great Barrier Reef is 2,300 km long. That said I loved the south west from Kalbarri to Albany. Would have liked to have seen Karajini & Esperance too but had booked a return flight after 2 weeks of sightseeing. 3-4 weeks is more realistic for a better look at W.A.
Correct, the pink lake is at Port Gregory just north of Horrocks Beach. Lovely little town with a history worth researching.@@davidbarry994
I love living in South Australia. Our weather isn't too hectic, the cost of living is generally lower, second safest state/territory and the work life balance is great, BUT there isn't a lot to do compared to other states and we often get left out when it comes to concerts, stage shows, performances etc. We do have Mad March, which is pretty much a whole bunch of festivals/performances/food/the arts etc. I'm not a huge fan of everyone knowing everyone though.
Finally you get it south cold north hot yay NTH Queensland still rules !

Tasmania is 42° south because the wine label is called that. Italy is 42° north, no one carrying on about freezing in Rome. There is a LOT of southern ocean between there and Antarctica so hardly close.
Melbourne recently overtook Sydney as the most populated city.
It depends how you measure it. The ABS measure has Melbourne being more populated, but "Greater Melbourne" still has ~ 250k fewer people than "Greater Sydney". Current projections have that flipping by 2030 anyway, because nobody wants to live in Sydney.

@@ACDZ123 It's interesting because there are so many different ways to measure it. By country of birth, the numbers for both are quite small now because most are at least 2nd or 3rd generation now. What's interesting is that Greeks here have really held onto their language and culture much more than many other diaspora, partly because of things like Greek school on Saturdays as well as Greek Orthodox church being spoken in Greek. So as a Greek-speaking population it's much larger than the Greek-born population. Whereas Italians I think have held onto their language and traditions a little bit less than the Greeks.
(I say this as somebody who grew up around Oakleigh so my perspective may be skewed by that!)

No such thing as best or worst when it comes to our states and territories. I've been to every one and they are all unique and great.
In 1974 when cyclone Tracey devastated Darwin , it had a population of only 50,000. After the re-build the city grew
Perth is not the best Australian capital city to visit as a tourist but it is definitely one of the best cities in Australia to live

I was Born in NSW, have lived in Queensland and the ACT, and spent much time in SA too. The most in touch with the Australian Bush, and the Flora and Fauna, was in the ACT, next best would be Adelaide. The Bush Capital is a very apt name for the ACT. Forget the bloody Politicians, it’s a great place to live, with very genuine, community minded people. All the places I’ve lived and visited have their own charm, you can’t go wrong.
31 in parts of Tas tomorrow, definitely dosnt get as hot as other states but we still have warm days
The comment “Tasmania rarely ever gets hot” is stretching but I suppose it depends on your definition of hot. We had 40c down here only 3 days ago and our fire season has only just begun. Also Queensland should be in the top 4 at the very least!

The Culture and People in Aus is generally pretty amazing. Theres not many places in the world where your 10 minutes from a large mall and 10 minutes from the bush and very close to the beach. Lifestyle in Australia is currently under major stress just like the US though.
Damn right there's gonna be some controversy! 😀Queenslander here, disagreeing with two places on this list. Why is the sunshine state QLD so low on the list? He forgot to mention we have the world's oldest tropical lowland rainforest - Daintree rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef and the world's largest sand island - Fraser Island. Why is Brisbane the fastest growing city in OZ?
And number 3 Canberra! What the... Have never heard anyone say "I wanna go live in Canberra'. Plus it's full of politicians.

There isn't a lot of the Daintree or Barrier Reef left. You can't have your environmental reserves and clear them too! And QLD has consistently picked to do the latter.

The 'politicians' are not Canberrans - they are the people YOU and other Australians voted for who just rock up to Canberra for a few weeks each year. Queensland has produced some of the worst, most divisive, nasty politicians: Pauline Hanson; Peter Dutton; Joh Bjelke-Petersen to name just three.
Queensland is racist. You don't realise that if you're born there - but you sure notice it if you come from somewhere else.
It's also disgustingly hot. Not everyone likes being sweaty nine months of the year.
And it's parochial to the point of nausea-inducing.
When I lived there for 5 sweaty, racist, awful years, I watched developers clear bush to build concrete monstrosities, which left the poor local koalas running for their lives - toward Gympie Road. Brilliant.
My son's first week at the local school was interesting. I said to a group of parents outside the school gate one afternoon, "It seems like a nice school". To which a local woman replied, "Yeah ...there's no darkies here". NO ONE BATTED AN EYELID!
I have lived in Canberra and Queensland, and, trust me, Canberra wins.

couldn't agree more. west is best. haha but not when for the past 3 weeks when heat got to over 40 degrees Celsius. but that is summer in extreme. I also enjoy other states, so not totally biased.

And he forgot to mention: a short drive to the Swan Valley with a mix of wineries, boutique Cafe and brewery and restaurants, the chocolate factory. The big mix of desert and outback all the way down southwest for surfing at Marg's, a trip to more wineries, cheese places, boutique breweries, hidden galleries. Whip out East to Wave Rock and check out the wheatbelt towns. Head up to Kalgoorlie and the Superpit mines along with gold mining history around there. Up north to Exmouth, Ningaloo Reef, Broome (Cable Beach). You can live a lifetime in WA and still not experience it all
I'm looking at this only 7 days after you posted it and I'm not sure why the internet told you it was going to be 56F (13C) in Hobart because today it's going to be 80F (27C) on Launceston today. Tasmania has a climate similar to the south of France but we don't get snow at sea level (only twice since I've been living here) so it's slightly warmer in winter than the south of France. Tasmania is an excellent place for growing wine grapes, olives, we make beautiful cheese and we even produce truffles
G'DAY Ryan, when you checked out temperature in Hobart & Sydney, I thought I would let you know how Summer has been where I am in south west N.S.W. (the AMIA) for the first 2 & a half months of Summer daytime temp rainged between 27c & 35c with rain every 7 - 10 days between 25mm & 40mm. But for the last 10 days no rain & none forecast for the next 10 & tomorrow forecast of 42c on the 2nd last day of Summer. Thank God for reverse cycle air conditioning 😊
And I run off to Hungry Jack’s for the day if it’s gonna be over 30°.

I'm from Victoria and agree with this, Vic has like a young lifestyle that's fun for now but WA has the most people retiring there (for a reason), the weather's warm and never humid, the beaches have amazing waves and the place is massively growing so things like well paying construction jobs are everywhere.

The Great Ocean Road (I have been there many many times) is amazing as a passenger rather than a driver. The driver misses out on so much because they have to watch where they are going rather than taking in the incredible views. 😧

Right, it gets hot in Tasmania. 23 degrees and I’m cooked! It’s an intense heat. But, always pack for all seasons as it changes at the drop of a hat. Cradle Mountain is nearly a 3 hour drive from Launceston, Bay of Fires is about 2 hours. It’s a matter of opinion if that’s a short drive or not 😂 roads are shit and windy and it takes time to get from A to B. In saying that, I consider myself very lucky to of grown up here, and still live here. Put Tas on your bucket list. 👌🏻

I was born and bred in Western Australia to immigrant parents from the UK. I've lived and worked in Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria for extended periods of time and have worked intermittently in New South Wales, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. After getting married, however, I returned to Western Australia to raise my kids. Call me parochial if you will but I love the lifestyle here. All the states have their pluses and minuses and I guess it comes down to personal preference. Choosing which is best really is, in my opinion, a bit of a first world problem. Australia, collectively, is a great place to live and to grow your family and the nation. Our ethos is admired globally and our democratic government is second to none.

I can't separate NSW and Q at a close 2nd. Tas is beautiful, SA has some good points, Canberra doesn't move me, NT is quirky with great tourist stuff, but only at the right time of year. Victoria's countryside is nice, but Melbourne is shit.

I've lived in most places, only visited or worked for few weeks NT (Darwin & Kat),holliday in tassie in summer which was glorious. Had to take the ferry. Adelaide had a great night life for such a small city. Canberra was expensive and I drank too much there public Transport is a joke. But skiing was plentiful. Brissie was ok but the cyclones etc are endless. I found Townsville better to live than Brizzie if I had to put up with cyclones. Sydney was great but the amount of times public transport stops to a halt is a nightmare so too the airport. SYD rent, parking, bus, cost of living is a killer. Loved Melb for all the reasons stated however the weather is Shyte and the beaches are awful compared to everywhere else. Perth is chilled, the beaches are endless and each area has a nightlife. 4 mild seasons each year. Xmas you head down South (Albany) Public transport is reliable and cheap. Houses are spread out because the place is so big. The parks and facilities are sensational. Parking at most beaches is free as is weekend parking and you can find a week day parking for $10. Wineries that are world class and compare to Adelaide. Place staycation are the bomb.

Cyclones in Brisbane endless? There hasn't been one here since 1990 (Nancy). Hamish in 2009 only came as far south as the top of Fraser Island. Ex TC Oswald in January 2013 did give Brisbane rain and 100 km winds. But the eye of a category 3 cyclone has not crossed anywhere in south east Qld since February 1954. We had a category 2 cyclone in 1963 (Annie) and 1971 (Dora). And TC Wanda in 1974 crossed the coast near Maryborough. So hardly 'endless'.

He forgot to mention that there are no toll roads in WA 😅, and the roads are in good condition! The weather is perfect, with few storms, so the roads don't disappear every time it rains 😅, and who said SA had the best wine? What about Margaret River and the Swan Valley! 😊
I love all of Australia, lived in Melbourne and suborbs for a long time, Melbourne is the most interesting city, with shopping, amazing restaurants, etc etc... I now live in Qld and I don't miss the winters in Victoria, but Melbourne stayed in my heart as the best city so far.

I've lived in Country W.A. grew up in Adelaide n now live in Country qld in a small town of 200 ppl,I use to also live in north Qld n love each n every place but Mackay in qld is my favourite close to Whitsunday Islands n love the weather,ppl n National parks beaches etc,where I am now it's like camping every day n nearest big shop is an hr away

I live in Canberra. There's actually plenty to do here, some of us just get bored of those things. We're near a lot of great NSW towns (like Goulburn and Braidwood - both have great bakeries), though, and we're about an hour away from the wineries near Lake George (Lerida Estate is my favourite if you ever have a chance to go), so if we're bored of Canberra and have time, it's usually easy enough to take a spontaneous day trip somewhere else. If you ever get to visit, Ryan, I'd love to show you around and recommend some places to check out.
I'm not sure I agree with where the ACT is on the list, because I do think South Australia should have beaten us, but I do agree that Victoria and Western Australia are heaps better than us, and, more importantly, that we're better than New South Wales (or at leaat that we're better than Sydney).
I have been to Canberra a couple of times, especially in autumn, you really need a car to get around, which I didn't have.😀

Omg ... being a Tasmanian I had to laugh when he said the major attractions were a short drive. I wonder what his idea of a short drive is. Depending where you are the drive can be up to a 3 or 4 hr drive. By no means short.
We live in different states because that's what we choose for various reasons, I choose S.A. because I like it here, I don't mind being forgotten.

Hey Ryan, as an expat, I moved to Perth Australia 20+ years ago and never left. One of the greatest cities I have ever visited and I have seen a few in my travels. Would recommend that you come and visit. Yes, its a way to fly, but the remoteness of this city gives it such peace. Great people, beaches, parks and if you love to drive, well, you have one state that you can drive 2 hours outside of Perth and you might see someone else along the way. 8 months of Spring/Fall and 4 months of HEAT....

Agree. People only voluntarily go to Canberra because of work. Lots are parliament, so makes sense of the low crime rate (how ironic) and increased average income.

I am from Singapore 🇸🇬 and Melbourne is quite similar to Singapore except for the weather. It has every types of amenities. It is so liveable. And I love the unpredictable weather actually..

I am Tasmanian & our "actual" median wage is 35,000, but because we have a couple of billionaires who live here, some of the year, it puts our median wage at much higher. Owning a house is unaffordable for most Tasmanians. It gets very hot here, just not for weeks on end, this last week we had temperatures between 31°c to 39°c, & our unemployment is much higher than quoted in this video.
WA FTW! Wasn’t expecting that, but having been around the entire state, including Christmas and Cocos (keeling) islands which are administered by WA, we sure have a lot to offer :)

I’ve literally lived in a hometown.. obviously my hometown and western country of Australia and we had 3000 people there maybe 4000 at the end of the year. Crazy it’s just mad… honestly.
The only people that want to visit Perth, is those that haven’t been there. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful but it’s expensive to get there, and it’s expensive to enjoy. It’s a go once and live it up and never return. My family live there, I’m based in Melbourne. $1,000 pp return on a good day. You can plan ahead and get $400 pp return but it’s a 6 month plan and you have to get the deals when they come up. It’s really disappointing.
