Van Gogh's painting is magnificent and impressive. It has a great and impressive history. A masterpiece like no other. A true artist, painter and philosopher.
I wish they would just give a little more images of the art. I know they do a lot of it in the previews but still a better view during the bidding wouldn't hurt.
@@lindamon5101 There was a rare in-person bidding war between two people. It seems like so many sales are phones and the in-person audience are just spectators these days. It was quite interesting to watch two people bid against each other in the room.

They can come out with anything: auctioning africans was one of that crazyness. U can make a silly painting, and prince Charles of England happens to like it, and hang in his castle, that piece might cost at least $100.000 now, and more decades later. Bitcoin crazyness is the same almost same concept. I work trade floor in NYC, and those people make money out of thin air
I was the handyman in her building for almost 5 years. Handled all the Monet's. Had to take my shoes off when entering her place.
