Yes she was born in Belgium but then spent her first 7 years in Catane, Sicilia, where he mother family is originated from. Italian is her first native language due to this, even before French.

Before she opens her mouth she prepares and gets herself (already then) into the story. The result is that she not only becomes the story...she IS the story. Dimash is quite an exception I really enjoyed her concert , except I had awful seats that I paid a lot for. I loved every minute of it , she did not disappoint As for Dimash , I was really close to the front and he was absolutely brilliant I’m originally from Warrington , and have lived in the USA for years

Lara spent her earliest years in Sicily where her mother and grandmother, are from, so her Italian is of course impeccable. Italians though will identify specific regional dialects, that are indistinguishable to our English-speaking ears! To my mind - and ear - no-one has ever done a better Caruso. Lara is my #1 female voice. 2nd would have to be another Canadian singer, Faouzia. She just sang Desert Rose for her 3rd song in the Singer 2024 competition in China. All three of her songs have been great there. No doubts that she will continue in that competition. She won Rounds 2&3.

Lara is my #1 female voice. 2nd would have to be another Canadian singer, Faouzia. She just sang Desert Rose for her 3rd song in the Singer 2024 competition in China. All three of her songs have been great there. No doubts that she will continue in that competition. She won Rounds 2&3.

Hi Fil. Just thought i would let you know that after listening to Lara's songs for many years i finally went to see her in concert in Budapest! It was amazing! Then 3 days later after listening to Dimash for 5 years i saw him live also in Budapest! It was unbelievable. Such an amazing experience!

C'est une des rares fois où je l'aime, car je trouve que quand elle va vers la fin d'une chanson et quelle prend de la puissance , elle ne chante plus elle crie (comme beaucoup de femme, je trouve avec ce genre de puissance vocale) et c'est physique j'ai mal aux oreilles. désolé pour les fans, il y a tellement parmi les gens qui réagissent que je suis de gens qui l'aiment que je teste et si j'apprécie beaucoup de ses débuts de chanson les fins m'éloignent dans l'ensemble
