The Sumeru Akademia has a list of sins to avoid. The first two have been broken in Fontain. • Interfering with human evolution •Tampering with life and death
I have an idea that when he saw the whale as a child, it was actually a vision of the future, since what we see in 4.1 is exactly as he described. Awakening IT would be the trigger of this vision, showing him what the final outcome of awakening IT would be.
The sum of Childe's Trial is literally him being guilty through association. But he was really just a "Child" when he fell into the Abyss and it is unfair to him to get the guilty verdict if he doesn't know anything as to why he was guilty. The dude just came here for vacation and I really wonder if Neuvilette even investigated Childe's situation after he disappeared other than him sending us there. or after the trial. This whole situation felt like it had been set up by someone. It is definitely not Furina she knows nothing and I believe Arlecchino is onto something. Right now the whale seems like the big bad in the next update and it wants to flood Fontaine. It is definitely angry at whatever the Fontaine of the past has done. But hear me out on this. The primordial sea dissolved the people of Fontaine right. You don't suppose those dissolved people can affect the Whale, do you? ( Be it emotionally or physically)Vacher is not the first to do it and he is definitely not the last. By shading the mortal skin and ascending to something, it felt like they cheated fate. What I'm saying here is that the Whale might not be the big bad but rather the victim in the story because humans decided to be greedy and corrupt the majestic creature by polluting the primordial sea when using it. Now it just wants revenge. It's just my take on the whole situation.
The thing is, Arlecchino herself don’t understand what is happening with him, she only used his arrest, and soon disappearance as an opportunity to have a meeting with Furina and Neuvillette, and investigate them. Also, the Whale is a bit of an Azdaha(?) situation ? Is that what you mean?
I will be honest with you, I don't think whale haves anything to do (bad) with primordial water. As primordial water is connected to the primordial god and not a whale... Unless whale is a primordial itself? Or even parts of primordial god... Which i highly doubt since it's from abyss which shouldn't have any connections to primordial god at all. If anything, whale is either there to help with the situation that concerns primordial water and Fontaine, or it actually doesn't have anything to do with it and it's only there for Childe alone and nothing else. The better question is why the whale even chose Tartaglia in the first place? There are a lot of different legends when it comes to whale, but most of them are about whales being Devine. And one of the legends that stood out to me was from NA's culture explaining the whales symbolizing family, romance, longevity, harmony, travel, community and protection. "To protect those who travel away from home, and lead them back when the time come."
Also i believe the oratrice(potentially the real Furina) made a mistake in the verdict because it declared Childe as guilty of awakening the primordial sea and the whale which is connected to the case despite him not even being 5 year old when Vacheer began with his abductions.
Remuria and its Godking seem to heavily be inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion with the Primordial Sea being able to turn people into a single conciousness.
If Childe ends up being instrumental to saving Fontaine, then I will laugh a little. Childe nearly caused Liyue to be flooded after awakening a sea monster, but now here he is saving a city from being flooded because of a sea monster. XD On a more serious note Childe being compelled to come to Fontaine reminds me of what happened in Baizhu's quest, when Jialiang was compelled to go to the god remains aka the mother lode because he had the minor lode within him which was being used to treat his heart at the time. This is more then likely a coincidence but who knows?
Bro childe awakened sea monster to force zhongli come out and he was sure zhongli can deal with it easily and when he will be exhausted after fight he will try to take gnosis then But zhongli on other hand after casually giving his gnosis for some unknown deal(poor child he wasn't aware of his own group's plan and worked for nothing) : He was sure human can deal with their own problems now, they don't need me to watch over and if they can't handle then I will step up(but he still watches over all liyue, even in past when klee's mom alice came he felt it she is problem and watched over her for entire time. same with traveller in some way.)
Your theory and speculation actually makes sense for the original sin. Just like Deshret poisoning people with forbidden knowledge and elazhar Remus tried something funky with their people. I subscribed
Wow!!! This was absolutely great! Insanely well done from start to finish. Giving voice to the voiceless characters was a very nice touch! My fellow traveler, you have a bright future ahead of you with this level of dedication. Looking forward for more!
WOAH…everything feels so connected now. i didn’t think too much of childe telling us he felt a little sour. but i was confused on why he was guilty, but knowing he had ties to the primordial sea water. and then you explained the story….and im just blown away. it just all came together.
Theories about Abyss existing prior to the PO run into the issue of the loading screen description of the Chasm that says two forces from beyond Teyvat fight in the Chasm, implying that the Abyss is from beyond Teyvat, and is not originally native to Teyvat.
When childe fell in the abyss he awakened the whale Since suddenly the levels of the water have started rising that's why he was guilty even tho it was proven that he was innocent
I'm really excited to find out how exactly Childe's role will play out in 4.2. Will the problem escalate to the point that Skirk needs to get involved to save the day/clean up the mess? Considering how high the stakes are, it's certainly possible. I think you've got a pretty much perfect read on Childe's situation up until this point. The only thing I'm not sure about yet is what exactly the whale is. It doesn't feel like an embodiment of the Primordial Sea to me... but that's just a gut feeling, and we know how reliable those are xD For now, that's the only small detail of your theory that I'm not entirely subscribed to, so I can't wait to see what'll be revealed in due time :D The whale certainly does have some connection to the Primordial Sea, though, even if only via virtue of having lived in it for a significant amount of time.
You have my sub, great ties on the genshin story so far. I really like the speculations regarding childes background, and the potential outcome of the story. You really outdo yourself on this. Great job! 👌
Wonderful theory! You laid out so many intriguing points. Makes me very excited for the next update to see how the story will play out. Thank you so much
Woww!! I never encounter Genshin theory crafter make this kind of assumptions. Childe for having a connection to Primordial Sea is really a convincing theory to explain how could he ended up with a guilty verdict. Nice! I subscribed!
Im just gonna leave this thought here, cause it works so well with this theory: Are you at all familiar with Childe's possible connections to Parsifal as being a descendant of a Mondstadt noble? Well, Parsifal, according to in-game lore is known to have slayed a giant sea monster, probably a kracken. If historical figures in Teyvat samsara as much of the community thinks, doesnt Childe slaying a giant sea monster fit so, so well?
I think that Primordial Sea might be heavily related with the Abyss. The word abyss originally came from the Sumerian or Akkadian word "Abzu". It is either referred as the cosmos of the PRIMORDIAL SEA. Sometimes it might even mean some primordial lake or something, from which the creator god Enki emerged and created the world. So it could also refer to the Primordial One emerging from the abyss to create the eggshell world of teyvat. Maybe the abyssal energy which remained within the eggshell (unlike what we know as abyss, which is its energy leaking in from openings or portals) IS the primordial sea. Or maybe it went through changes which could explain why it doesn't directly harm regular people other than Fontainians.
Idk your channel and this video im about to discover..but lemme say this : starting with annapausis ost is a beatiful touch. Also the system of aqueducts was firstly introduced on a large scale by romans, another little tiny bit that reflects our world ancient hiatory we love to see in genshin
honestly i still cant believe that he was thought guilty cause of the primordial sea or whale...Why would he be accused of that even if he has connection to the primordial sea? he didn't commit that particular crime tho...either he is guilty of something we don't know yet that IS related to that case OR as knave suspects the oratice's only function isn't judgement...
I have to say, you hammered down a great deal of information about the whale and Childe, and I am surprised you glossed the bits of his dropped mats in his boss battle. These mats seem to be more showing the whale’s fury and desire to flood the lands in it’s wrath. I personally believe, as Ajax’s vision came after this chance encounter, that his fate that was once within the stars was forcefully altered by this entity. As he is connected to it, it’s fate and destiny is now burned on him. He will be the eye of the storm and conflict shall brew around him… as said in his story. But, I also believe you are correct with the whale’s existence and the prophecy. We are familiar with the cardinal rules of knowledge, what one should not touch in the pursuit. Fontaine has been violating several of those sins stated by Cyno. “You shall not interfere with human evolution;” (Remuria, the situation with the orphans and the use of Elynas’ blood and corpse to ascend humanity. You could add the creation of the Meka here as well, as they are sentient beings that have interfered with human evolution by industrialization.) “You shall not tamper with life and death;” (Remus’ stint with Primordial Water, and the repeat of it in current time.) “You shall not delve beyond the universe;” (I forgot that one person’s name, think it was Jacob. But the book itself is also hitting that, as the Melusines have been innocently perceiving beyond the current reality humans know.) “You shall not investigate the origin of words;” (They haven’t touched this one, but if song and story goes around Irminsul’s records, then the study of music in their method, as music is fundamentally different in Remuria and now in current time in Fontaine, this is probably scraping it.) “You shall not revere gods without acts of devotion;” (//POINTING FURIOUSLY TO THEIR ARCHON MY GODS THEY DO NOT HOLD ANYTHING TO HER, JUST TO THE ORATRICE ITSELF) and “You shall not divulge secrets without a hint of fear.” (Between the Msyterious Ore, the whole open can of worms we just walk into at every given turn, and how open everyone is about their cards… yeah. No one is hiding anything, and a lot of the records and experiments are open and easy to access. The ciphers are easy to get into, the locks are hilariously simple… nothing is secret, as everything is under the light.) And, I do think Skirk’s choice in training this young boy was to allow him the chance to fight this usurper of his own fate, that altered his life so drastically. His actions may condemn or save Fontaine, or he be a sacrifice for Fontaine’s sins, as he is connected to the whale. Another thought I hold is that this whale itself is the embodiment of the Primordial Sea, an avatar that holds the sins of Fontaine’s past and seeks to punish it for the numerous sins they have wrought. It is why Neuvillete is important as the judge, to hear the past and present and pass a fair judgement against the future that is the prophecy. … sorry for the long comment, but this is fascinating to me. This and the history of Sumeru and King Deshret have me by the throat. (。┰ω┰。)
Thanks! I’m kinda invested in Childe and Skirk, so seeing that they are building this in this path, I wanted to share much of it. I should work more on reading the weapon materials from the domains, as several of them give highlights to the past civilizations. If it is the same as it is with the weapon mats for Sumeru, then there may be more information about Remuria, the Order, and maybe the contents of the sea through certain pieces. But I digress, it is wonderful to see how you collated this data and presented it wonderfully. I hope what little food for thought I have given will help out in uncovering more of this fascinating story they’ve now crafted.
The term "Celestial" means different things in different time periods, the Narwal is probably one of the original gods, the real Celestia that lost the war against the Primordial one, as far as we know The Primordial one is just some extremely powerful god from another world that conquered Theyvat and reshaped almost everything. They make a huge thing about the victorious side recording history in Genshin I have a feeling most of the things we think we know, is wrong this is somewhat exhausting since we already get so little information. However what we DO know is that Zhongli says that he is currently working on finding a BETTER way to record history, this is key. What if the Archons thought they had the whole picture as well, when the war broke out and now come to realise that they were used for a higher agenda ever since then they have worked to diminish their own power over Theyvat. And what if they also realise that it is probably not the first time they just have no recollection of the past lives, in game called Constellations. Theyvat has no sky because the stars ability to contain memories is being used to recreate is being used to power Irminsul. Irminsul than uses the data bank of memories to reshape things from the old world. No idea how the traveller is going to mend the mess that is Theyvat. As far as I understand if Irminsul dies everything in Theyvat seizes to exist and this is the reason why Khaenri'ah fought for their lives so the Abyss could not corrupt it. However the Abyss is somewhat sentient and was here first so their claim on Theyvat is just as big some would claim the legitimate ruler of Theyvat. With the Void realm (abyss) came the Light realm represented by the dragons it my deepest belief that BOTH realms are needed for theyvat to exist at all. Irminsul has roots that goes down to the Abyss which means both realms are connected and always has been all the conflict about who rules what is futile. If you were a Christian you would call these realms "Heaven" and "Hell" or chosen by Hoyo - Aether and Lumine
Possibly! At the very least this gave us a first insight into the importance and uniqueness of the music of Remuria. And how it goes beyond "simply" music :)
Great video! Although I disagree about the part with Rene and Jakob: it was said regarding the abyss power that their bodies were different. They cured Jakob by having him drink blood of Elynas and the same treatment caused the death of their assistant, which means, they`re different from other fontaine people either.
Thanks! It's a valid alternative interpretation, for sure. But in enigmatic page Nr. 4, René expresses interest in ousia and pneuma because "as a form of energy localized to Fontaine [...] researching them might help us understand the difference in nature between the structure of our bodies and that of Karl's". To me, this fits the "fontainians vs other humans" interpretation much better than the "neohuman vs human" interpretation. Also, I don't think Rene ingested Elynas blood himself, in which case his body should differ from Jacob's too at that time (I could be wrong there) What do you think? Thx for your comment!
@@genshinlorebytes I don`t remember anything about Rene consuming Elynas either, but he wasn`t sick so I guess it wasn`t necessary for him. I do agree with you that Fontaine natives are indeed have different biology because it`s the only way to explain their thing with primordial water. But I also think Rene and Jacob might be a completely different case because of how are they reacting to abyss power (Elynas said they sensed in Jacob something similar to them). At first I though they have Khaernri`ah related origin, but it doesn`t explain how Rene got himself dissolved in primordial water 🤔 So idk, Hoyoverse had me confused here. Making theories about these guys is fun anyway, hehe 😏
What if instead of being the savior of Fontaine Childe becomes it's destroyer? What if the whale is in search of. Host and this calling up on the one who allegedly awakened him Tho I'm a bit septical about the so called "IT" being the whale that Childe awakened as Dainsleif's also has "IT" that essentially stops or slows his transformation and his erosion
The Whale wants Childe to remember his past, since the pollution of primordial water robs divine beings of their own memories. Visions are based on your own memories but the whale wants Childe to adopt his memories, and this is why he feels angry and his connection to his own destiny is disturbed. The Oractrice is the god of justice and it senses emotions in a room, therefore it sensed the whales emotions and not Childes, the Oractrice sees the whale as guilty for the prophecy of Fontaine for reasons unknown. It is also possible that the whale is a god from the old world bansihed to the deepest part of the ocean. If that is the case the Oratrice might see the whale as part of the reason for the Calamity which is why this situation arose in the first place. What is taking shape in Genshin is a Palestine Israel situation were the old world was the original world but was inhabited by a new civilization this is going to get sensitive regarding the situation in that region at the current moment.
I'm kinda just spit-balling here, but what if the whale is Romeria? In the case of the serial disappearances of young women, all of Vache's victims are subsumed into one being in the form of an oceanid. Considering just how many there had to have been in the empire, it's not too far a reach that they could become this incomprehensible being. It's at the very least an interesting thought imo.
Wake up babe, new lore byte dropped In all seriousness, you've structured the video amazingly. Did you keep in mind the leaks of the 4.2 weekly boss (there's a certain something about both his primary identity and his second phase) or did you base this strictly on 4.1 data?
That sounds very tempting! :D But I haven't seen leaks yet - I try to base my theories on what is officially available so far. But this sounds like those leaks align with my theories? yuhuuuu!
I have very little evidence other than vibes and personal spite, but my theory is that Childe will become the new Hydro archon. I feel as though Furina's power as archon has been slowly leeching away over time and being stored somewhere- we know it could be the Indebnitium, but it could also be the Primordial Sea. For what purpose? Assuming Celestia does not want the Archons to fall and lose their power over Teyvat, there should be some system by which new archons can come about. We know they can be born, but we've also been told that normal humans can "ascend" to godhood. I think we are witnessing Childe's ascension to godhood, and he'll become the new Hydro archon in Furina's stead. This would also be tragic and loop nicely into the prophesy- perhaps in his ascension, Childe does manage to avert the crisis facing Fontaine with the Primordial Sea, but now he is unable to leave Fontaine ever, lest he turn into water himself. Now he can no longer see his family, the one thing we know he cares about more than anything in life- hence his "crying on the throne". The flood that will consume Fontaine is the Tzaritsa. Either Childe will eventually side against her and she invades, or he will maintain his loyalty to her (She has his family after all) and hand over Fontaine to her once he is in control. The loss of his vision feels very core to this idea. So far, we have never seen someone's vision just stop working except in death. However, we do know that the archons do not require a vision in order to use elemental power. It stands to reason then, that if a human ascends to godhood, they will no longer need their vision in order to utilize elemental power. So, the vision would stop working!
I like the Idea of he being pledge guilty because his connection with the Primordial Sea but I also think this logic is flaw. Like just because you where born in Germany in the 20s it doesn't necessarily make you a nz. A more fitting explanation would be that the Oratrise purposely pledge him guilty because it wanted Child to find the whale. After all so far the fortress is the only know path to it.
Yeah, the oratrice doing it on purpose following some objective would be my second guess too, it's a good point. But I think the Germany analogy is not entirely fitting either. Let me put it another way: The case of disappearing women was like a small-scale version of the prophecy - some fontanians getting dissolved and all. The "culprit" threatening the people here is the primordial sea. Childe, linked to the whale, is perceived as the murder weapon, sort of speak. Thank you for your comment! :)
@@genshinlorebytes Considering how intelligent the Oratrise is, it confusing / treating Childe as the murder weapon seems too far fetch... But who know... And as Jon Lajoie once said: "Guns don't kill people. Na an. I kill people. with guns. Pow!" 😁
@@vitor900000 It's a fair point! :) Who knows, in the end, it might be a combination of both possibilities: The oratrice used a technicality to both appease its sense of justice and advance its plans :D
I don't think we should take Rene and Jabob as representatives for normal fontainean bodies. After all, Jakob was capable of surviving, absorbing and even growing stronger because of abyssal power, but Carter, who due to being a graduate from the Narzissenkroitz institute seems to definitely be fontainean, couldn't survive the same process to the point his body actually melted. There's something particular about Jakob and maybe René. As you said it yourself, whatever's on the primordial waters of Fontaine doesn't seem to be abyssal in nature. Of course, this doesn't shed any more light re:fontaine's original sin, but I'm pedantic and wanted to mention it anyways.
Did u just forgot to mention Scylla the original hydro souverign who was the one that gave Remus the goblet to create to create remuria in the first place? The original sin mostly seems to be related to the treachery Remus commited against Scylla by creating the ichor that Boethius used to seal them . Also u should read Fontaine gliders lore it's literally mentioned that the primordial sea has the structure similar to that of blood rather and where all the creatures and merfolk originally come from including oceanids , the will and the heart of the primordial sea was Scylla itself and after they were sealed the shade of life created egeria using Scylla's essence to be the new heart of the primordial sea
If so primodial sea is not elemental... Idk... What makes that neuvillette is? I mean he manage to stop and control it, he did mentioned about in not a dragon form when his birth so maybe it is connected?
Little question that may be kinda dumb but Do you know how Childe got back into the Primordial Sea, because of that the case, since it already happened in his childhood, won’t he fall back again into the abyss. Or will we save him in time (Also Fontaine gonna get that 1 Star vacation)
Not a dumb question at all! I can only guess, but: The place where Freminet lost Childe's track had a substantial amount of primordial seawater. I suppose Childe found the leakage place, while Freminet could not continue for obvious reasons. And regarding the failed vacation... At least Childe was allowed to have some fun beating other inmates up - unlike the traveler xD
Also just realised something that help with your theory, being the Foul Legacy ost Like Foul Legacy was taught by Skirk, because he awoken the Whale.. And the ost is *Wrath of the Monoceros Caeli", which is his constellation, who is implied to have been altered
This is the best speculation video I've ever seen, thank you for your explanations! The only thing I can't understand is how can Childe do anything in 4.2, the last arc of Fontaine story, if he has no voice lines in it? Leaks says, we won't hear him. I know, he was almost the main character in 4.1 and also didn't have voice lines, but how can this be in the finale... I don't understand and very worried about him(
Oh my, that sounds a bit worrying indeed - I haven't been following leaks so this is new for me. To be frank I also got a bit worried when we kept his vision... but I also can't imagine them doing a "game of thrones twist" on Childe without giving him *any* more voicelines... Maybe his journey will take a bit longer than we expect? - I suppose we can only wait and see! But let's just hope we see him safe and sound back soon :)
So what’s causing the primordial water to attack Fontaine is it the whale or some other unknown force at play? I thought it was some past sovereign revenge or something.
There's this wild theory that Childe is "Jesus". While certainly wild, there's actually quite a bit that makes it believable. Him falling into the abyss for 3 days and rising again to deliver humans (Fontainians) from their sins....
All I am going to say is that Childe's real name is Ajax, a Greek hero that fought in the Trojan war that the Greek Gods watched and also intervened in. If we put this into context than Remuria is more akin to Ancient Greece, where they had a strong culture in the arts and conquer most of Europe/Mediterranean. Also, Greece was known for their huge Navy that would be vital for defeating Carthage during their two wars against that country. Now back to Genshin, Childe is an orphan who doesnt have any memories except when he was adopted in the Cryo Archon's country. Now Childe was found in the abyss and trained by his teacher he found there to being a skilled warrior. Now my theory is that some of the Remurian people probably escaped to the Abyss during the sinking of their civilization related to the prophecy. I think that those survivors lived in the Abyss and Childe is a decendant of the Remurian people. He is special because he can use both elemental and abyss powers with no ill side effects from using them. I think that the whale was attracted to this power being similar to itself and met with young Childe in a dream. I believe that Childe will be the one to fight and pacify the whale in some future story update. Now for the original sin part. I think during Remurian height in power and during their conquests, discovered the primordial sea. I think the Remurian king experimented on the water to find immortality beyond the human body. The research into the black and white energy being able to power mechanical bodies was probably one such way in trying to live forever, the other being to become an oceanid where your memories can be transplanted to a temporary body. Both methods were flawed and the original sin of trying to transcend the body enraged the whale that resided in the water. We can see the results of trying to control such powers to the research facilities that either sank to rising tide or to huge explosions. I think current Fontainians are repeating the same mistakes from the Remurian empire, causing them to make the ancient prophecy true. Most of the Fountaine people don't believe it will happen or place blind faith that the Archon will save them. Now for Furina, I think that she split her personality to create an oceanid that controls the oratrice in the trials. I think that the court system is a way to secretly gather information about the people of Fountaine to trying to prevent the prophecy from happening. By discovering the truth in these trials, there might be some information that could be used to stop the whale's anger. The court trials does entertain and distract the people. Also, those convicted can work in the prison that is currently holding back the primordial sea. Perhaps the oratrice can tell the nature of the person and discovered that Childe had a special composition and had him arrested to understand why. It will be interesting to see how this will unfold.
@@genshinlorebytes For more food for thought, consider the side quests that involve Mary Ann, Caterpillar, and the robot dog. They are all created beings that transcended the human lifespan and had become some higher living being with the flaw of missing memories. Also, near the end of the Caterpillar sidequest, the Doomsday Clock was featured in the secret room in the old Institution. It's like the scientists were racing to find a solution to the prophecy without knowing why it happened. In their quest to subvert the prophecy by finding alternative ways of living from the disaster afterwards, they are fulfilling that very same prophecy. They are all unaware that the primordial waters are being controlled by a whale-like entity that is enraged at the arrogance of humanity's pursuits of transcending their bodies in horrific forms. I am assuming that the whale has some sort of authority over creating life and these experiments are disrupting that flow causing the whale to be enraged. The only natural solution is to stop it at the source, by destroying all of Fontaine and it's people using the primordial waters. Now for the bigger question. What if Childe is similar to these altered creatures as well? Maybe somehow he was an experiment that successfully was able to combine elemental and abyss energies with no side effects besides early memory loss and stunted growth. This would explain why he was absurdly strong for being someone so young. Perhaps he is hundreds of years old and lived in the abyss, his encounter with the whale allowed him to age naturally like a normal human afterwards.
It is admittedly guesswork, though 21 seems to be the online consensus. The factors considered include (but are not limited to): * He is the youngest Harbinger in the history of the Fatui * The age of his younger siblings (Teucer is still a child) * His Character Details "Childe very much looks like the young adult that he still is." * In version 1.2 that text was modified from "teenager" to young adult, so he should be 19+ hope that helps! :)
@@genshinlorebytes So it's almost an entirely arbitrary number then. I think you shouldn't put too much weight on it in future lore-crafting. Nahida is the only character whose ages we have certainty on (500).
@@genshinlorebytes Oh, and great lore-crafting otherwise! I have a strong feeling that that whale (or something that comes from the Primordial Sea) might be our final boss for Fontaine arc, though I think it will be mainly Furina's job to take care of it, which may or may not involve Childe.
@@lazyremnant380 I understand your point, I could have phrased it differently - but the main thing in this context is not the exact number, but rather the approximate scale on the timeline. Whether it is a few years more or less than 21, it doesn't affect the hypothesis much. Thx for your feedback!
The game itself says he is a "young adult" in his profile, which is a description for late teens and people in their early 20s. So 21 is not so far off. When he was first released his profile called him a "teenager" but not long after they changed it to young adult, because he talks about drinking alcoholic drinks.

He can’t be 34. Like actually, the timeline doesn’t add up, and the way he’s described puts him at only abt 20. If anything, it’s more likely it was when he was born, though I don’t think they’re actually related

Already solidifies the fact as well that Hoyo is literally a massive fan of the Evangelion franchise lol
TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOWN 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Considering Scara was literally in a mecha suit,,, yeah lmao
Does that mean that.... furina is our shinji AHAHAHAHA
Also childe being an Asuka genderbent lol
If Childe ends up being instrumental to saving Fontaine, then I will laugh a little. Childe nearly caused Liyue to be flooded after awakening a sea monster, but now here he is saving a city from being flooded because of a sea monster. XD
On a more serious note Childe being compelled to come to Fontaine reminds me of what happened in Baizhu's quest, when Jialiang was compelled to go to the god remains aka the mother lode because he had the minor lode within him which was being used to treat his heart at the time. This is more then likely a coincidence but who knows?
Bro childe awakened sea monster to force zhongli come out and he was sure zhongli can deal with it easily and when he will be exhausted after fight he will try to take gnosis then
But zhongli on other hand
after casually giving his gnosis for some unknown deal(poor child he wasn't aware of his own group's plan and worked for nothing)
: He was sure human can deal with their own problems now, they don't need me to watch over and if they can't handle then I will step up(but he still watches over all liyue, even in past when klee's mom alice came he felt it she is problem and watched over her for entire time.
same with traveller in some way.)
I wish other regions' Archon quests had this much connection to characters' stories and lore of the world. 😢
Could you ellaborate? I think Teyvat is just the name of the continent, I dont understand how the Abyss and Teyvat couldn’t have coexisted before PO
The exact quote is:
"The stony halls of The Chasm's depths are the battleground for two powers that surpass this world..."
@@FrodoBagginses
Teyvat was basically created by the first descender. Before that only the elemental realm and the abyss existed.
I want more! Everything fits together with such detail and explanation. Even though it's just a theory, it all makes sense to me now. Amazing content!
When childe fell in the abyss he awakened the whale Since suddenly the levels of the water have started rising that's why he was guilty even tho it was proven that he was innocent
Sooo... he tried to drown Liyue but he accidentally drowned Fontaine😂😂😅 oh dear..
Fontainins are different, you're right. Why do you think only they have the Phneuma/Ousia mechanics? And Genshin is very careful of it's lore.
This was so well presented I didn't wanted to end.
You have my sub, great ties on the genshin story so far. I really like the speculations regarding childes background, and the potential outcome of the story. You really outdo yourself on this. Great job! 👌
I'm subscribed. You're better than the other MAIN genshin lore channels.
You should check out Furina and Neuvillette being a reference to Babylon the Great/Whore of Babylon and Leviathan in cn.
Or maybe it went through changes which could explain why it doesn't directly harm regular people other than Fontainians.
you have done it again...constantly raising the bar for us and doing it flawlessly

The ciphers are easy to get into, the locks are hilariously simple… nothing is secret, as everything is under the light.)
And, I do think Skirk’s choice in training this young boy was to allow him the chance to fight this usurper of his own fate, that altered his life so drastically.
Quite the opposite: Thank you, I honestly love this kind of comment and yours was a very nice read ☺- you raise good points!
He so better not die
You were so right about Childe saving Fontaine
very gd speculation and explanation...i loved the things about genshins like all are connected

I wonder if the Golden Symphony is related to the Melody of Vesta we recovered in the quest - Echoes of the Ancient World for the melusine Topyas.
Also, I don't think Rene ingested Elynas blood himself, in which case his body should differ from Jacob's too at that time (I could be wrong there)
What do you think?
Omg shes actually right…
Good video, thanks!I can't wait to know more about childe's past.I think that will be big one in genshin.
sound cynical but would childe still be called saviour even though he's the one that awakened the whale ? he just finish what he started
What if instead of being the savior of Fontaine Childe becomes it's destroyer?
What if the whale is in search of. Host and this calling up on the one who allegedly awakened him
Tho I'm a bit septical about the so called "IT" being the whale that Childe awakened as Dainsleif's also has "IT" that essentially stops or slows his transformation and his erosion
Wake up babe, new lore byte dropped
In all seriousness, you've structured the video amazingly.
But this sounds like those leaks align with my theories? yuhuuuu!
@@genshinlorebytes Gotcha. Well, in this case I will neither confirm nor deny it :D
And as Jon Lajoie once said:
"Guns don't kill people. Na an. I kill people. with guns. Pow!"
😁
@@vitor900000 It's a fair point! :) Who knows, in the end, it might be a combination of both possibilities: The oratrice used a technicality to both appease its sense of justice and advance its plans :D
I enjoyed watching this video. Full of interesting lore bits
So even the hydro dragon cannot stop the primordial sea, he can just Lower and prevent it.
Oh God this theory is great. I love it
Did u just forgot to mention Scylla the original hydro souverign who was the one that gave Remus the goblet to create to create remuria in the first place? The original sin mostly seems to be related to the treachery Remus commited against Scylla by creating the ichor that Boethius used to seal them .
Also u should read Fontaine gliders lore it's literally mentioned that the primordial sea has the structure similar to that of blood rather and where all the creatures and merfolk originally come from including oceanids , the will and the heart of the primordial sea was Scylla itself and after they were sealed the shade of life created egeria using Scylla's essence to be the new heart of the primordial sea

Little question that may be kinda dumb but
Do you know how Childe got back into the Primordial Sea, because of that the case, since it already happened in his childhood, won’t he fall back again into the abyss.
Yeah but he was probably so bored :')@@genshinlorebytes
Also just realised something that help with your theory, being the Foul Legacy ost
Like
Foul Legacy was taught by Skirk, because he awoken the Whale..
And the ost is *Wrath of the Monoceros Caeli", which is his constellation, who is implied to have been altered
What if Childe had to be verdict guilty so he can go down there to the primordial sea. If he wasn’t he wouldn’t have enough time to face the whale.
This was a great video.

But let's just hope we see him safe and sound back soon :)

underrated video
from nearly 500 subs after this vedio it will going to be 50 k subs
So what’s causing the primordial water to attack Fontaine is it the whale or some other unknown force at play? I thought it was some past sovereign revenge or something.
There's this wild theory that Childe is "Jesus". While certainly wild, there's actually quite a bit that makes it believable. Him falling into the abyss for 3 days and rising again to deliver humans (Fontainians) from their sins....
I believe he is more Jonah
Nice one
Your videos are fun to watch but please make thumbnails more catchy
:D I'll take that to heart, thank you!
It will be interesting to see how this will unfold.
excellent points and thought-provoking ideas!
Childe is not an orphan, he have a family and his younger brother is even named TEUCER, like in greek mythology
Genshin impact really good at making stories huh
Where do you get the basis for pegging Ajax's present age at 21-years old?
It is admittedly guesswork, though 21 seems to be the online consensus. The factors considered include (but are not limited to):
* He is the youngest Harbinger in the history of the Fatui
* The age of his younger siblings (Teucer is still a child)
* His Character Details "Childe very much looks like the young adult that he still is."
* In version 1.2 that text was modified from "teenager" to young adult, so he should be 19+
hope that helps!
My only question is why do you still use beidou?😅 She's mami but it's already 4.1 you still use her.....😂
My friend, I have been a Beidou main since the very beginning of this game :D
And honestly, the dopamine rush on perfect counters still hits to this day - I don't expect it to change 🥰.
Ofc I also use other teams... but I always come back to Beidou sooner than later ^^.
Also I just love the character :3
@@genshinlorebytes can't argue since she's my main since 1.0 too. Lol
what if childe is actually 34 years old and technically that would make him guilty in that case because he awakened “it” 20 years ago
He can’t be 34. Like actually, the timeline doesn’t add up, and the way he’s described puts him at only abt 20.
If anything, it’s more likely it was when he was born, though I don’t think they’re actually related
The game itself calls him "young adult" which is a description for late teens and early 20s. When he was first released his profile even said teenager and they changed it to young adult.
@@sabrinas.79 yep. He was called a teen in 1.1
She gained an accent all of a sudden wtf
