@@adampearce6197 Might supplement it with the Wall Street Journal Editorials, New York Post, Washington Times, or the number of editorials that skew right, while the actual news seems to 'skew' left. I used to read The Hill when they had a comment section. Its various articles would give one whiplash. They had news articles that might have been a tad liberal like most newspapers, sprinkled with John Solomon written hyper partisan fan fiction editorials. I never look at the authors, so I would read one thing, then read another. Eventually I was able to determine John Solomon articles purely by the title or at worst two sentences in. It was clearly way too opinionated to be considered news. I noticed a lot of the liberal news stations and papers tried to balance themselves by giving a handful of conservative loons half the spot light vs a bunch of actual journalists. In my opinion they caused more damage than Fox.

I'm hoping a class action suit takes place against Fox to remove the "news" portion on the logo. It's not news, and they need to be held accountable for using the term.
Not gonna happen. It's a trademark. They already claim to NOT be an News Station.
They even admit it. They say the evening lineup are all opinion shows. I don't think they go as far as to say - 'Sean Hannity's reports are his opinion and not necessarily to position of fox news' though. And the users don't regard it as opinion - it is all hard all fact NEWS. I don't get the same sense at all with MSNBC evening lineup - they seem to still attempt to be responsible reporters, and have some pride in reporting the truth.

Technically they do have News shows though most are just local stuff. Unfortunately viewers can seem to distinguish the difference, which is the majority of their shows are actually labeled as entertainment, because their "opinion based on news" and not meant to be taken as factual news.

I understood this comment to be astonishment that Fox came with no evidence because of all the "funny stuff" that she still believes is out there regarding the election. In other words, she is frustrated because she still thinks the election was stolen/rigged/whatever, even after this result. The level of self-deception and evidence cherry-picking required for this is quite staggering.

I don’t think enough of them view it as entertainment especially since the network is so readily available, is called Fox News (emphasis on news) and they get the same access to presidents like actual news outlet. In reality faux news needs to be treated like tmz which is basically trash tabloids but a lot more racism, ignorance and horrible people on the payroll. They should be forced to change their name, have disclaimers boldly through out each segment and not get any of the access or resources actual news outlets have.
I think there’s a huge difference between a negligent misreporting and continuously disseminating false information. All networks will report something that isn’t true at some point but when a network knowingly disseminates information they know is baseless and false, then it becomes a much bigger issue. You can have a different angle, a different take on the matter but as a news outlet your view and reporting should be based on facts, or at the very least, the most facts you can find. I hope the other plaintiffs won’t let FOX off the hook like that

With all due respect... As someone from another country (in EU) I have always raised an eyebrow to 24/7 news channels (we dont have those her). Even for profit (we have those here also) news channels make me raise an eyebrow. Because you automatically start building up an 'Audiance' to 'Sell' your product to. And it is hard to present facts without opinion when a channel just keeps going. There is no 'News worthy news' every second of the day.
If i compare the non profit news channel we have here to CNN or FOX I find CNN to be closer, but still not fully without a bias. For the record nothing on this planet is without any bias, but with bias I mean a clear 'Tinted glasses' reporting. Biases can be fine, but in my humble opinion news should be 'Here are the facts as we know them. You build your own opinion about this.'

I actually put the blame on our (US) situation on the advent of CNN. NOT that CNN was/is inherently evil, but consider -
For decades, serious broadcast news was the domain of the "Big 3" networks. And those networks operated their news divisions at a LOSS - didn't make a dime from it, and in fact those news organizations were subsidized by the successful shows from those networks. "All In The Family" paid for Walter Cronkite.
Along came Ted Turner and CNN - and suddenly there was a for-profit model on the table. With Gulf War I, CNN got on the radar, and other companies took note. Did we really expect the capitalist powers-that-be to NOT decide to make more money? Even at the expense of integrity?
I've been saying - if one of these billionaires truly wanted to do something to benefit society (here and now, not trips to Mars and such) then one of them would subsidize a truly independent, unbiased news organization. Admit that it would be a financial loser right from the start - but hold it to the highest ethical standards..
