Setting this as a 'premiere / scheduled' so everyone knows it is on the way. Will try to do that going forward as much as I can so that you never have to wonder if a video is coming the next day or not. 25:05 I've had mech clusters land in my colony backyard and even attach to the killing field! Immediate battlestations had to be called since the turrets angered it right away. Uranium slugs go CRAZY against centipedes and autocannons really augment the sustained firepower.
I would love a bug that has ranged attack but hurts itself when using it. Lore-wise it could be that they eject body parts, and gameplay wise it would just make them knock out after 1-2 shots. I think it would be manageable with melee block still, but not as onedimensional as it is right now. Would also cause you to consider different options depending on the amount of melee/ranged bugs
Since biotech added unique attack abilities and resources, you could have a jelly resource bar or just a really long cool down like with Yttakin warcalls. Vampire spines are NASTY against human-sized targets, even with armor. Acid spit is DEVASTATING already. Vanilla bugs with it would vaporize brains!
@@vianneyb.8776 I was thinking an engineered Soldier bee. Range of 1-2 tiles and maybe 3 charges, with each shot being a little less than the needle gun from a pikeman
-infestations now spawn banelings XD seriously tho, maybe a very weak "spitter" bug wouldnt make much difference if shields can absorb most of their damage and/or if they're extremely rare or something but yea, I actually agree that overall a ranged bug would not be fun
Unless it was changed, I don't think trait breakdowns cause the inspirations from tortured artist. I remember having the same thought myself a while back and trying to do that but all of the trait breakdowns (when they had okay mood) never caused any inspiration. If the extra option rolling for pryro breakdown when on an extreme MOOD breakdown is what you mean, then yeah, it's that marginally better, especially if you wall them in. Though it may be worth checking out if you absolutely need a pathable burnable object to have a firestarting spree so you just put in a single wood fence or something in their "prison" cell.
A friend of mine told me there is a 1 in 250 chance of your pawn triggering a trap. Proceeds to lose 4 pawns in the span of 10 minutes to traps. The dude put them in his entrance...
I really want to watch the winston waves run! Can't you put it up on a second channel? That way you don't ruin your algorithm but we still get access to the "outdated" content that will realistically never be good for your channel's health. Edit : I learned that there is a description I could read to find that second channel, but damn, no winston archives.

Loving the dwarf run, but also kinda hype for the Winston Waves run now.
The concentration of mechs in the lower right corner is outstanding.
Humps & Fugly are also great names for camels.

So a bombardier-beettle-like insectoid? Or a soldier bee that dies when it stings targets? That sounds pretty cool!

22:01 I havent noticed it with the other pawns but Humps seems to always have the Tough Trait
It'd be hilarious if the next xpac was a worldmap overhaul called 'Wayfarer' so that they can continue RibWorld
It's not luck that that person with the bow survived a few volleys from the mechs, it's the rain.

I think you mean H&F shipping? Poor Fugly getting erased with a P instead of an F
