i love that eugene is both very calm and very chaotic. like he speaks with a such a level and typically mild-mannered tone but he’s doing the most ridiculous things.

just reminded of the try guys try a lie detector test where the guys asked if eugene messes up his recipes intentionally on without a recipe and he said yes. i wonder if he threw the competition on the cake recipe… 🧐
Oh absolutely. I think he completely understands that it's not fun to watch one person destroy the others in everything, esp since they have a lot of cooking videos, and it is also hard to want to keep making those videos if one person is just crushingggg it. He's like "imma give the people what they want... tipsy/drunk Eugene doing *the most* and making enjoyable, comical mistakes"
I don't think too many eggs or overmixing was him messing up on purpose, but I think his unusual choice of flavors was definitely him trying to give the other guys a chance
I simultaneously love and hate the try guys’ baking series because on one hand it brings me physical pain and on the other hand it raises my self esteem immensely. This is called the narcissistic baker’s paradox.
I don’t know anything about child rearing or babies in general and don’t really plan on having my own, but even I know not to wake up a baby from it’s nap! The best part of babysitting is when they’re asleep and you can breathe!
