I've enjoyed watching Baker play since OU and I hope he finds his fit and his abilities shine with the Bucks!
I’ve always loved baker as a browns fan and I’m happy he’s doing well. But despite playing a good game you can see his biggest flaw in this video…getting it done on 3rd and long. You can see it multiple times that he makes a decent throw but always short of a first down. That’s why he’ll never be elite unfortunately. However at least he doesn’t make as many boneheaded throws as he used to

As a Browns fan who never gave up on Baker not only am I happy to see him doing well but I also feel vindicated thus far. I straight up didnt watch a single Browns game last season out of a feeling of pure anger towards the front office of the team. They traded away our best shot at winning games and going to the playoffs. At least the Bucs will go somewhere with him. Typical Browns..

I'm glad Baker got out of Cleveland. This is a good opportunity for him and so far he is playing well.
I loved him on my Browns and ill always wish him the best! People make it seem like we were so loaded and he didn't do anything with all that talent lol. He had OBJ after his 1112th knee injury and overall injuries and Jarvis older and banged up. We didnt even have the best wr group in our division at that time. The last year was complete sabotage and he shouldn't have see the field after the first injury!
The League should have investigated Stefanski and the Browns brass about that year, and especially the Steelers game where they were intentionally losing the game, and trying to get Mayfield injured permanently. A whole lot of football fans saw what they were doing and will continue to call out the Browns for that year.
The last season he was setup to lose, they tanked the season to move off of Baker. The obj thing was handled awfully, more like not handled at all. Caused division in the locker room. I'm happy to see Baker in a better environment and doing well.
Personally I am glad to see that others realize "the agenda" that was directed at Baker. It all comes from the top and I have always blamed Haslam for what happened. I kicked the Clowns to the curb and will not return until Haslam is no longer the team owner. It is nice to see Mayfield returning to his signature style of playing QB.

Baker is playing in a system that compliments what he does well! You have your best here in Cleveland and I appreciate it.
As a Chiefs fan I never understood why the browns released him.
The key to quieting Baker haters is to not ride the hype too much. He’s a good QB that needed time to bloom as well as playing in a consistent and developed system. He has that now and as long as he doesn’t get hurt he’ll be a decent QB that has his ups and downs. His max potential 100% is that he could win a SB but it he’ll never be a year in year our candidate for that.

As a Boomer Sooner fan and someone who knows #6 from his days at OU, really glad Baker has his chance to be the WINNER that he really is. Keep it going Baker. Maybe after this season Tampa Bay signs Baker Mayfield to a 3 or 4 year contract. NFL QB's are very hard to find.
If he carries the Bucs through mid-season with a 5-3 record they'd probably consider a One year extensión. If he goes 6-2 then his contract ext- should go for 2 to 3 years!

Been on the baker train even though everyone’s been hating for years. Told everyone that he had a shoulder that needed surgery his last year with the Browns, last time he was healthy he won a playoff game
Here's the problem though. Baker didn't sit himself out after Week 2 and get surgery. Had he done that, Browns wouldn't have sniffed around for the Predator.

They sat Chubb and had Mayfield throw 40+ times or some crazy amount, and also didn't give any help on TJ watt. Then the front office starts sending out bad teammate nonsense. Stefanski and Berry absolutely were sabotaging Mayfield.

One thing I can say about him is he never really had a full chance until now
Also, Baker was playing even better than he is now the first few games of the season that he hurt his shoulder. His initial performance that year came from going into a second year with the same head coach and offensive CO.
